Preston was very friendly and courteous. He had pictures of everything he checked for our a/c maintenance service and repaired a wire which was damaged. I will use John's again.

We got a new AC unit! Mike the ac guy was super nice and zero pressure. He had many options and unfortunately none worked for our financial situation BUT we figured it out and he was there every step of the way.

The install techs were amazing - even when my neighbor threatened to call the cops *insert hard eye roll here*. Had a few unexpected issues come up but nothing they couldn’t handle. 10/10 would reccomended this company to anyone needed a new unit or repairs

In the spring of 2022, we decided that the time had finally arrived for us to replace our two A/C / gas furnace units in our house which was purchased new in 1996. One of the A/C units had a very slow leak, requiring an ever cost increasing annual freon recharge.

After completing preliminary research, I decided to seek quotes from refrigeration companies which offered Trane products, due to their apparent reputation, and as a consequence of my brother-in-law’s brother being a Trane installer.

We whittled our quote list down to two local businesses - both of which seemed to have good reviews. Each business came and gave us a quote, and was the start of the deciding factor leading us to select John's Refrigeration.

Mike Rowland, a comfort consultant, arrived and explained to us that prior to working for John's Refrigeration, he was an independent energy consultant, providing residential consultation and construction services, including third party energy assessments for SRP and APS customers. We explained to Mike issues we were having with our existing A/C system, as well as cooling problems we were having since first occupying our house in 1996. Mike took measurements, analyzed our heating and cooling needs, and proposed a solution. His comprehensive analysis indicated that our existing 4 ton downstairs A/C should ideally be a 4.5 ton unit and thus recommended a 5 ton unit, and that replacing our upstairs unit with a similar 3 ton unit would be appropriate. Mike then provided good (single speed air handler / single speed compressor) / better (two speed air handler / two speed compressor) / best (variable speed air handler / variable speed compressor) proposals.

The other refrigeration business representative came and provided an assessment largely based on what we already had (4 ton downstairs / 3 ton upstairs), without any obvious analysis. When quizzed about replacing the ground level A/C with a 5 ton unit, the explanation was not analytic enough for me. In addition, unlike John's Refrigeration, this company was not sure that the units I thought we would select would be available any time soon.

So as a result of Mike's pre-sales analysis, fit, and product availability, we chose to move forward with his the "better" proposal. Mike confirmed that the units that we wanted were in stock and arranged for installation to begin a week later.

Installation day was whirlwind. A swarm of 7-8 people showed up at about 8am and started to work removing the old systems. In what seemed like no time, one team removed the old air handlers and compressors while another started assembling the new units. Soon the new compressors were installed and the new air handler installations underway. Included in the install was assurance that duct work would be adjusted to remove bends, to ensure we would have better airflow to a front room which was always a problem to cool. By about 4pm, the install work was finished, and configuration and testing underway. We have Z-Wave thermostats which I was quite sure could be used with the new system, and the install team was very accommodating in connecting.

I was pleasantly surprised at how much cooler our house now is, the fact the A/C units no longer run non-stop throughout the day, and the reduced energy consumption we now have. Specifically, our June / July / August 2021 on-peak (3186KW) / off-peak (10661KW) consumption has been significantly reduced to on-peak (1610KW) / off-peak (7366KW) for the same months in 2022 - approximately a 35% energy consumption reduction and a corresponding 37% financial savings :-).

We are very happy with the pre-sales, installation and post-sales support from Mike and the John's Refrigeration team, and wouldn't hesitate them to recommend them to anyone looking for Trane equipment in particular and refrigeration services in general.

Mikel Guerrero with John’s Heating, Cooling and Plumbing was great removing a leaking water valve for the ice maker and installing a new one for us. During the install, Mikel ran into an issue when shutting off the water, the water pipe would still drip, causing a bad weld. Mikel did some trick to overcome this problem and got the job done. He cleaned up work area nicely too.

Steven Parks with John’s Heating, Cooling and Plumbing was great installing a Heat Pump Water Heater for us. During the install, Steven was able to answer all our questions on the Heat Pump technology. After install, including adding a condensate line, Steven explained the different functions and modes of the new water heater. He also helped us setup the Rheem Water Heater app setup. Cleaned up nicely too.

Caleb and Marvin’s did such an amazing job! My work had a water heater issue and came within 30 minutes and got all the water cleaned up and gave us an estimate!! Thank you for your speediness and doing a great job!!

Why would your tech thats working on my neighbors house move my trash can into the front of my driveway blocking my driveway so he can park there even though they are working on the neighbors house across the street?

Kyle and Shawn were very informative and professional and did an excellent job presenting and installing a new AC system for us. Their price was not the lowest, but the longevity of the company was important to me. Their bid was very competitive.

Tremayne came on time to do our AC/Heating tune up and cleaning. Super knowledgeable and professional. Got through everything very quickly and thoroughly. He went through everything he tested, showed photos and did an unbelievable job. Definitely recommend Tremayne and Johns Heating and Plumbing 1000 times over they’re amazing.

We had John’s give us a quote last year for a water heater. We decided to wait on it but were impressed by the professional service. Today we had a water pipe leak and I called John’s. Steven was the plumber and came to our house within a couple of hours. Steven was great: knowledgeable, very pleasant, and he completed the work quickly and efficiently. He provided excellent advice as well.
The only thing I would recommend is that the company re-evaluate their offer hours phone response. I started calling at 5 am and had to make 2 more calls over the next 5 hours before getting my call transferred to the office who promptly took care of it. Other callers might have been less persistent and just called another company which would be too bad.

Steven came out to the home over the weekend to replace a failed hot water heater. He confirmed the unit was still under warranty, removed it and exchanged it at Home Depot for a new unit, which was promptly and professionally installed. Steven was informative, professional, respectful and clean cut. I highly recommend using this company.

Michael Grisban & assistant did a great job. They were on time, polite, clean, communicative, and efficient. They replaced two garbage disposals and a faucet, plus a few other minor tasks. Three of the tasks they did corrected frustrating plumbing errors of the past. Knowing their trade well, we were finally able to have a much appreciated plumbing experience.

Michael has been absolutely outstanding. John’s Heating and Plumbing is by far the most competent and trustworthy service in the Phoenix area. Their expertise and honesty truly set them apart. I’m deeply thankful for the guidance and support they provided while resolving our plumbing issues. If I could, I would give them 10 stars!

We just started our system maintenance contract today. Saul was great! He started by respecting my house as he put paper slippers over his shoes while in my house. His inspection was very thorough. He very clearly explained everything to me. I felt that his report was honest. I'm advising my daughter to use John's Heating, Cooling and Plumbing . Saul is an excellent represenative for the company.

Steven was incredible; patient, timely, understanding, tolerant. I found the company responsive, committed, consistent, and incredibly helpful in this project to alleviate concerns realized in the course of this mess. He did offer varied options to include repair which I did deliberate on and thus was offered sound choices to factor. I would not have considered this company if the price was not reasonable and more. In this case, I do think more was deserved, but I would not have known about those realized complications from yet a third party (which he did help me with). Thank you

We are very happy with John's. They installed a new AC and Heating unit a year ago and were awesome, so we had them come back today for some additional work. Kevin our technician was awesome, he explained everything in detail and no surprises.

It was finally time to replace our 19-year old AC unit. The company who had installed it and had been servicing it for the last 19 years gave us a fair assessment of the situation and reasonable quote which included a discount from a big box retailer. I decided to do more research and get additional quotes before committing to a big purchase. I found John's Heating/Cooling/Plumbing through the SRP recommended contractors. I was blown away by their BBB A+ rating, no complaints, 54 years in business, and glowing reviews everywhere I looked. The sales person, Mike, who came to my house was extremely knowledgeable and professional. Everything sounded top notch and the price was better than the other company's offer. I was done looking. John's installed my new 5-ton unit three days later. Kyle and team were very professional and the attention to detail on the installation was amazing. I've been in my attic plenty of times and I was familiar with my old air handler. Kyle showed me how he fixed issues with the ductwork. I noticed the plumbing, wiring, and connections were all precise for both the attic unit and ground unit. I am extremely pleased with every aspect of the sale and installation and I am confident everything was done right. My previous AC company was good, but John's is the best and I'm looking forwarding to using them for the life of my new AC.

I am upgrading my review of Johns plumbing. My complaint was handled very professionally and very understandably wow is all I can say they listened and they fixed my complaint.

Mike was great and polite worked to get done my problem is I was never notified it was going to be $755 to replace two seals in my shower handles. There was mentions of maybe be putting in new knobs as well, but that didn’t happen. I have the same old corroded faucets.. It took three days three trips to find the right parts using Photos. I would really like some kind of a refund this is outrageous. I fixed my roof for less than that.

My family have been customers of John's Heating/Cooling for 40yrs. Now offering Plumbing, it makes my life even easier if I need help. I highly recommend Michael Gisbran. His experience and work-ethic is rare. He's done some serious work in my new trailer to upgrade and keep me safe. He did the initial buying inspection, so now we're off to the races! I couldn't trust him anymore than I do now.

Excellent. We have been relying on John's for refrigeration service for years and now, for the first time, for a plumbing issue. There has never been an occasion when we have not been completely satisfied. Scheduling is easy. Response time could not be better. And the quality of the work has been exceptional. Not to mention that the technicians have been really nice people on top of everything else.
