Giving Desert Rain Plumbing 1 star, which is unfortunate because I’ve had used them in the past when I had several toilet plumbing issues in my home & always requested them when putting a service order in through my home warranty.

My home had a leaking water pipe in the supply line that brings hot water to the second story. The technician Anthony came out and immediately closed off the pipe and removed both the pipe and solder joint. I would not have known anything he did if I didn’t run downstairs and chase after him before he was about to leave and drive off.
Desert Rain then gave their diagnosis to my warranty company the day after, which included the statement “incomplete install” which my warranty then used as reasoning to deny payment for the repair. I discussed my confusion to this diagnosis because the pipes and solder joint was never incomplete, plus it was removed by their technician and I have been living in my home for 4 years with no issues. I also did not receive any pictures of the leaking pipe as it was already removed. My warranty explained that they would approve the repair if it was due to normal wear of the pipe and solder joint.
When I requested to have this diagnosis /assessment changed, Desert Rain’s manager Vern refused to change their assessment and stated I had to pay out of pocket $600 for the repair.
I did my due diligence and obtained a second opinion from another plumber who confirmed that the pipes should be covered and replaced because of normal wear. The second plumber charged me $175 for the repair. A huge difference than the $600 that Desert Rain tried to charge my warranty company and me.
I ended up just paying out of pocket to get the repair done, but strongly feel that Desert Rain should have taken the time to work with me to get my repair covered.

I highly recommend doing your research prior to calling any plumbing company and take pictures and confirm with the plumber the exact details of the issue and repair. If not you may end up with a plumbing company trying to overcharge you and/or your warranty company.

So far so good! Dalton was very timely, courteous, helpful and informative. I'm looking forward to getting my water heater replaced and being able to update this review with more good information.

My home warranty referred me to Desert Rain Plumbing. It was nice that they communicated with me before arriving to my home. My tech was Jesus. He did a full test on my water softener and was able to explain to me the issue. He didn’t get to replace the part that day due to needing approval from my warranty company. The part was approved by my warranty and they already called to set my appointment next week. I highly recommend this company and Jesus.

Had a leak called them out and they came out the same day, kept me informed, helped me with dealing with our insurance. Dalton was great, he was very professional and fixed our issue.

I would highly recommend this company for any repair needs. Hailey in the front office was polite and made sure we had a plumber scheduled the next day for my valves that were corroded. Anthony was here the next day, on time and went above and behind to make the repairs. Both Anthony and Hailey were friendly, polite and efficient. Will definitely have this company on speed dial for next time.

I would like to sincerely thank Jesus and the desert rain plumbing team for replacing our water heater. Jesus is so genuine and very knowledgeable. He took his time to access the issue, explained in detail what was wrong and how he would fix the problem. We had two other plumbing companies come out to diagnose what was wrong but they only took a few minutes to tell me my water heater needed replacing; Jesus on the other hand took his time to explain what the issue was and even asked me more questions to help me understand.

Although it took a minute to schedule our appointment due to lack of communication with our warranty company, I am very pleased with the way DRP handled our problem. The team definitely turned our awful start with the warranty company into a successful ending.

From communicating appointment time, technician arrival time, out of pocket expectations, to progress of claim and billing, DRP I give you a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.

Jesus was amazing! Not only did he quickly identify my leak, he also discovered that my faucet had a sensor and fixed that as well. Jesus kept everything clean and dry and offered suggestions on how to best maintain my kitchen sink area to prevent potential issues. I would highly recommend Desert Rain Plumbing.

Desert Rain is incredibly hard to get a hold of. They don’t return calls or answer phone. The only reason I gave a 4 star rather than less is because the gentleman that installed the unit was awesome. He was professional and kind.

I highly recommend this company and if you ask for Ben he will take care of you fr fr. Honest guy and goes out of his way to answer any questions to make you feel like you are being taken care of and not screwed over. I originally had a different plumbing company come out for a leaking water heater & when they quoted me they gave me crazy quotes & was stressed out. I gave Desert rain Plumbing a chance based on their review and let me tell you they did not disappoint they came out quickly and when I told him that my water heater flooded the laundry room they were very prompt on setting a time for the technician to come out and replace it. Ben deserves a raise and to be the first to have 1 on 1 interactions with clients very well mannered and professional!!!

Dalton showed up promptly this morning and diagnosed a problem with our garbage disposal. He was courteous and professional and so helpful! He replaced the disposal, replaced another seal that was needed and checked everything for leaks. And he thoughtfully put everything back under our sink! Thank you so much!
