Ruben arrived later than the "window" (so 4 instead of 5 stars) but he was very personable and deftly replaced the damaged garbage disposal with a new one. This was done under my home warranty plan just 1 day after I posted a claim. He made sure to show me it worked before he left.

Reuben and team were all super supportive during this stressful time of home ownership. Reuben was extremely Knowledgeable An insured we knew exactly what was Wrong with our system. He went above and beyond to ensure we were aware of the situation. Management and office employees were also very pretty to respond and get us back up and running. 5 stars well deserved. Thank you!

STAY AWAY from Desert Rain
If I could give zero stars, I would. Desert Rain Plumbing was sent to my home by my warranty company to address a failed water heater, and the experience was nothing short of awful. The technician was unfriendly from the start, but that was just the beginning.
After confirming the water heater was bad, they handled things with the warranty company, and the next day, I received a shocking quote of $1,397—stating this was my portion to pay on top of what the warranty company covered. When I asked how much the warranty company was covering, they refused to provide the amount, citing some supposed contract agreement that prohibits them from disclosing that information. At that point, it was clear to me that something was off.
I followed up with the warranty company and discovered the truth: they were covering the water heater, and the additional $1,400 was for "accessing the water heater." This charge is absurd. The water heater in question is a small 29-gallon unit located in an easily accessible outdoor utility closet. It could not be simpler to reach.
Desert Rain Plumbing charged $100 just to come out for the initial diagnosis and then clearly took advantage of the situation, assuming that because I was working through the warranty company, I’d feel obligated to pay their outrageous charges. This business is unethical and preys on customers who rely on their home warranty.
As it turned out, I found another plumber to do the entire job for less than the fee Desert Rain wanted to charge me just to "access" a 29-gallon unit in an outdoor utility closet.
Avoid them at all costs. If your warranty company assigns them, request someone else immediately.

I just got off of the phone with my warranty company and they confirmed my suspicion. Desert Rain is basically double billing. My claim was approved to pay for the cost of the water heater and the labor for a tech to install it. Desert Rain wants to collect from the warranty company then dip into your pockets to increase their profit. Do not let them do this to you these dishonest and unethical business practices should be illegal.

My water heater needed replacing and Ruben was able to come out and document the issue with my warranty company. Once the repair was approved, Ruben was out here the next day and installed the new water heater. Overall it was a good experience with Desert Rain Plumbing.

My hot water heater stopped working Anthony and Dalton came to check it out and soon found the problem. They came on time, and gave me a courtesy call before they arrived. I found both men professional, they took time to explain what happened and reported to my home warranty in a timely manner. Thank you Desert Rain Plumbing

Had service done today with Desert Rain Plumbing we were referred to them from our home warranty, they were not going to make it till next week, called the office explained our problem and they were able to come out with in 24 hours, Jesus was our technician, he was absolutely professional and wonderful person explained everything that he was doing , and took the time to explain the proper way to use the garbage disposal to my mom. Hi, I’m writing this review because I was very pleased with my technician Jesus that came to my home today. He called 15 minutes prior to arriving and was on time. Jesus came in with a smiling face and a positive attitude and assessed the situation. After going and making a call to his office he came back in with great news saying that he can fixed my problem today. I was very pleased with his performance and professionalism and the knowledge of his work. This is a worker that can be a model of success to your company. EXCELLENT service! Polite, pleasant, explained everything and answered all my questions. Left no mess, hooked my appliances back up that had been moved, too. Drains working fine now. I could not have requested a better tech!

He was personable, professional, and knowledgeable. He went right to work to figure out what the problem was. Dalton from Desert Rain Plumbing replaced my water heater and really impressed me with his prompt courteous service and professional attitude! He was extremely knowledgeable and used state of the art technology to assemble the pipes and fittings (no soldering!) I will definitely be calling Desert Rain for any future plumbing needs! Title: A Roller Coaster Experience with Desert Rain Plumbing, Redeemed by Jesus!

Desert Rain Plumbing was initially a roller coaster of experiences, starting with a delayed appointment due to my home warranty company. Despite a rocky start, the situation escalated when a restoration company, recommended by Desert Rain, attempted to exploit the situation, inflating damages and costs.

Thankfully, my claims agent redirected me to a more reliable restoration company, paving the way for Desert Rain Plumbing's involvement. Unfortunately, the first plumber, in a hurry and lacking professionalism, left loose ends and failed to address the issue adequately. A subsequent water leak emerged, leaving me frustrated.

However, the saving grace was Jesus, the second plumber from Desert Rain. His professionalism, thoroughness, and excellent customer service transformed my perception of the company. Unlike the first plumber, Jesus took the time to explain the repair process, ensuring a seamless and satisfactory resolution.

Despite the initial challenges and an unfortunate encounter with the first plumber, Jesus's exemplary service and the responsiveness of the manager/owner, V., salvaged the overall experience. While I can't give a perfect rating due to the initial setbacks, Jesus's expertise and dedication turned a potential disaster into a positive ending, earning Desert Rain Plumbing a second chance in my book.

Matt has been nothing short of wonderful. Always on time. Always calls before to let me know his ETA. Kind and courteous! Always cleans up any mess he’s made along the way. Sadly, I’ve needed plumbing services several times the past few months and I’ve started asking for Matt to be my tech, knowing I’ll get great service.

I have to say, the professionalism, support, and knowledge I received from this company was unparalleled. Especially Chris Hart. He was the ultimate joy. Professional, kind, and trustworthy. They had to go through the back of my cabinet, under cabinet, through a wall, and through an exterior block wall. They left it looking like nothing ever happened. And for the first time since buying this old house, we can wash dishes without backing up the sink! Thank you so much Chris, I am a bit late on the review, but truly, you were a gem. You and your team were amazing.

I LOVE Desert Rain Plumbing! They were sent out by my Home Warranty Co- Old Home Republic. I was nervous because there have been times when the home warranty company has not sent the best companies. This plumbing company was spot on. I had my technician arrive on time- He was sooo nice and mannerly. He unclogged the drain in the sink and the bathtub for me- even went the extra mile and showed me what clogged it and really scrubbed the hell out of the inside of the pipe. I had no more issues and I was a very happy customer. There was no way I would have been able to clean the clogged pipe on my own- there was quite a bit of build up. I am happy to recommend Desert Rain to anyone! I believe it was Anthony that was my tech. :)

Do whatever you can to use a different plumber!

Under my home warranty, Desert Rain came to my house to fix a cold water valve in my 3-valve shower. During the repair, they used a wrench to tighten, causing visual damage, and it was not installed flush with the wall. See picture. They returned to fix the damage, but forgot to turn off the water! I ran to turn it off for them. This caused more damage and all three valves needed to be replaced on the next visit.

On their return visit, they plumbed and started installing a single valve shower system instead of the original 3-valve system. I stopped them when I noticed the incorrect installation and they left without finishing. Later by phone they wanted to “make it right” but insisted on finishing the job with the single valve. I wanted the shower returned to its 3-valve system, but they were not willing to do that. They just walked away. They also took and discarded my other undamaged fittings that I could have reused.

I ended up paying another plumber $3,000 to fix Desert Rain’s damage and install a 3-valve system. The warranty company felt bad for my experience and paid me $1,500, even though they didn’t owe me anything. Not only did Desert Rain not own up to their damage, they told the warranty company that I authorized the single valve! So I’m still out $1,500 because of Desert Rain.

Desert Rain has a lack of ethics, honesty, integrity, and trust. I highly suggest doing whatever you can to never use Desert Rain.

Matt was absolutely fantastic!!! Very knowledgeable, explained what he did & answered all my questions. Genuine, very sweet guy. Fingers crossed I don't have any other plumbing issues, but if I did I would for sure request him for the job.

I was initially scheduled with a different company to have my kitchen water restored, but they weren’t going to be available for 4 days and desert rain came out within 24 hours. They could’ve come after hours the first night, but we had gone to dinner. The service tech Reuben was very professional and efficient. He completed the repair extremely fast and went above and beyond to make sure there were no additional issues. Would definitely use again.

All I have to say is the professionalism and attention to detail that Matt demonstrated on the job was, hands down, one of the best experiences I have had with a service provider. It all started with a home warranty claim, but because Matt was so personable and explained the situation with my hot water heater and the process for getting it resolved, and returned quickly to complete the repairs after the part was received several days later, I asked if he could come back to fix some external piping and faucets before it became a serious issue. By the end of the day, I received a very reasonable quote from Desert Rain and scheduled for the following week. I have interacted with Matt on three separate occurrences and each time it was 5 stars. I’m not familiar with others who work at the company, but if you get Matt as your service person, you will, without a doubt, receive an ‘Above and Beyond’ experience and quality workmanship.each time. I highly recommend Desert Rain, especially if Matt is the service technician.
