Appliance Repair reviews in Phoenix, Arizona

I made a reservation and we had to wait for parts which came quite fast and my tech came the next day for installation. I would highly recommend Mr Appliance for fast repair. I will certainly use them again as my appliances are thinking of something that will need their service presently no doubt.

Booking was very easy and appointment availability was only a few days out. Service technician (Joseph) was timely and very professional.

We had an issue with our clothes dryer. Joe was prompt, professional and knowledgeable! My initial call to George, the owner of this franchise was also unparalleled. He was helpful in directing me to a plumber to correct an initial water valve issue, and then provided the last part of the puzzle by sloving my dryer issue.
Great service and courteous representatives. You are now definitely in my phone book. -
I had a very positive experience with Mr. Appliance yesterday. My washer had stopped draining and my laundry was piling up. I called Mr. Appliance of Midtown Phoenix late in the afternoon and they sent out a technician the very next morning. He was on time and called 20 minutes prior to his arrival which gave me enough time to be prepared for him. He wore fashionable orange booties :) to protect my floors and proceeded to spend the next hour or so cleaning out a clog that was preventing the washer from draining. He was knowledgeable, friendly...but not too friendly, polite and thorough. There was quite a mess from the clog and the odor was fairly putrid. He cleaned it for me and together we got rid of the smell with some of my own household products. The price was very reasonable and the experience really couldn't have been better. I would recommend this service to anyone and will use them again in the future. Thanks again Mr. Appliance. It's nice to know that now that my husband can't do all of our home repairs that I have someone on my side who can help me out in a pinch! I appreciate you!!

Needed a gas oven repaired and was recommended to Mr appliance via Thermidor… Logged on and they were able to do repair next day at an extremely reasonable price. The tech even helped me level the range when finished which was not part of the job description. Very nice to find there are still companies that do what & when they say they’re going to, at a fair price. I’ll use them in the future for certain.

I hired this company to come to my house to repair a wine cooler. During our first appointment I was given a 5 hour window and received an email confirmation of my appointment. Unfortunately no one came to my house and when I called to ask what I had happened I received a voice answering service. After having sent an email and having left a voicemail, I expected to receive an apologetic phone call back that evening for the company's failure to honor my appointment. The next day at 9:30 am, having still not heard from anyone at Mr. Appliance I called and spoke to the receptionist who told me that there was a booking error (even though I received an email confirmation) and that there was nothing she could do but rebook me. I asked her if she would waive my diagnostic fee and was told "there is no way the owner would agree to that" but that she could give me a $20 new customer credit - which was odd as that sounded like it was available to all new customers. I agreed to rebook our appointment for next week and asked for the owner to call me. The owner (George Gill) called the next day and left a voicemail that lacked any apology but asked me to call him back. I called him back twice over the next two days and never received a call back from him. On the day of my second appointment (this time I was given a 2 hour window), I called the office to confirm the appointment near the end of my 2 hour window and was told that the technician would not be arriving on time. I asked when he would be arriving and was told that they didn't know. I asked how this was acceptable given their failure to show up for my first appointment and was told that if I wasn't happy I should just use another company. The receptionist asked what I wanted to do and I told her that I would just like to get my wine cooler fixed. At that point she hung up on me. I'm astounded at how I was treated. I don't think I've ever received such poor service from a company ever. I don't know if they are understaffed and overbooked but they clearly have lots of issues with their punctuality, booking and employee attitudes. I hope they figure out how to run a business.

Techs David & Joe were well turned out, had a great attitude & communicated positively. Floor mat laid down & booties were used. Protective mats were placed on counter prior to microwave removed carefully from cabinet. Troubleshooting briefed out, repairs explained (door switches operated intermittently) & repair completed w/i 2 hours. Work & clean up done professionally. Thanks

Used Mr. Midtown twice. The first time, my dishwasher decided to work when the tech showed up - but he didn't do any kind of inspection to see why it wasn't working in the first place. Just charged me $150 to come and press the "start" button... I tried again a second time (a month later), and they had to order a new part. After a week, I call and they tell me it's back ordered and no idea when it will be here. Annoying they didn't let me know, but I understand. Another week later I call again for an update since I can't wait months for this to be fixed. After 20 mins on the phone they have no answer. I decided to look up the part online and found it for $20 to be delivered in 3 days. Mr. Midtown charged me $150 for the part. It was going to be a $400 repair - might as well have gotten a new dishwasher at that point. I spent $300 for two diagnostic visits and no resolution. Maybe I just was unlucky, but I wouldn't work with them again.

This company is a scam.
Called for service for icemaker not working. Man came and diagnosed it as needing replacement. So fine. I went ahead to replace. The charge for this was $561. Over several days, I got 5 pieces of ice. I called back to get another service visit for this. So another person came. He said that the problem is not the ice maker even though replaced. They replaced it and it was a mistake. This 2nd guy (Joe) "found" another problem-a leak which would cost $1,000 to fix-yet another part.
I then got an emailed invoice for $129. for a service visit!!
I was not told about this charge. How do they with a straight face charge me for a visit to fix the product that doesn't work in the first place. This makes no sense. So I spent $689 and my ice maker still does not work.
The worst of this is when I called the owner about all this, I was yelled at and insulted. No customer service at all!
So stay away from this company. Not sure of the other "Mr. Appliance" businesses. due to lack of trust with this company, I'll not go for the $1,000 additional. I'll buy ice!
Best to buy a new appliance when it breaks because you will be taken otherwise. -
The entire process was super easy. Just a few clicks on the website and I had an appointment for the next day.
I had a few questions and the associate who answered the phone was informative and friendly.
The tech called prior to his arrival and let me know he was on his way. Once he arrived he made sure to use shoe covers and mats to make sure there was no dirt in my home. He completed the repairs quickly.
Would recommend Mr. Appliance for future repair needs. -
Appliances are incredibly complicated, and none are the same across brands & models. Mr. Appliance has the systems in place to find the solution using all the resources available. While not inexpensive, they get the job done. The technician (Zachery) did not know exactly what to do, but with all the expertise at his disposal, he got it done.
Thank you Zachery and Mr. Appliance. -
Mr Appliance is a fantastic company. They responded immediately and I scheduled an appointment quickly. The technicians were great. George was very friendly and helpful . I couldn't be happier with the service.

Joe was very courteous, knowledgable and professional. Being a technician myself for 30 years, I was curious, and asked many questions. He was kind enough to answer them all. Unlike many technicians, he brought his own carpet to stand on outside, and put booties on. I would recommend this company to anyone that needed appliance service.

Needed washing machine repaired ASAP, technician scheduled same day, between 3PM and 5PM. Received call around 1PM that time had opened up and technician could be there in 15 minutes. Was thrilled! He arrived, diagnosed problem in about 20 minutes, had to leave to get part, returned in a timely manner and had the problem fixed in another 20 minutes. Professional, friendly, did a great job! Hope we never need him again, but will definitely use this company again if needed.

The service techs were fast, considerate and knowledgeable. I received excellent service and was kept up to date throughout the process!

When I called, I got a human who answers the phone. Answered all my questions and scheduled an appointment. Zac came and assessed the problem with a solution and a quote. Zac was very neat, wore shoe covers and fixed the problem. He's very professional.

We were able to get an appointment quickly and get the problem with our refrigerator diagnosed quickly. The correct parts were ordered and replaced within a week.

George from Mr Appliance arranged for Joe Apodaca to be at our house almost immediately. Joe had the washer up and running (after replacing the drain pump) in an hour and was very professional. Just ran my 1st load!

David was so delightful and professional. He was smart and knew what he had to do. He came back with a quote before fixing our washing machine. I’ve never used this company but I will from now! Company is courteous from the beginning call to end of service. Thank you for your professionalism!

Was able to get my refrigerator repaired the same day I called. They were a little bit busy so he didn’t show up until the evening, but he texted before hand. He was very professional, and did great work.

They price gouge. I normally don't do reviews unless they are extreme experiences one way or another.
I had them install a new dishwasher. The installer verbally told me over the phone when he got there that it would be $250. He also said the new water supply line that came with it would be fine.
I was not there as my wife works from home. Apparently he told her he needed another supply line. He then left for Home Depot which is less than 2 miles from my house. An hour later he returns.
Another hour or so I get an emailed receipt for $374. $106 of which was for a 6' water line! So he had to go 2 miles to get a 15-20 dollar water line and that trip costed $90?!! My wife didn't know any better and paid it. He never called me to let me know in advance of the additional cost. Looks like he just intentionally took advantage of someone who didn't know better. Why did he call me initially and told me $250 in the first place, but didn't call about the added charge?
I emailed the company to see what I was missing. Their response:
"The drain line was fine and so was the power cord. He used a new waterline because supply lines are pressurized and he needed a longer line. I don't think you're missing anything. Our costs have gone up for providing quality service the same or next day. It's unfortunate but it's where we are. My office rent was just increased by 25%. Let me know if you have any more questions."
I did not get "service the same or next day". I made the appointment 4 days prior. I get costs are up across the board these days, but that doesn't justify deceitful practices and dishonesty. Oh, so your rent went up. Then just raise your prices or whatever. At least be up front about pricing and give the customer the option of accepting it or not.
