Appliance Repair reviews in Phoenix, Arizona

I’ve removed my previous review because the team followed up and fixed the Rational oven. Kudos to Lorenzo for his help!

Huge selection
-
Great service
-
Very annoying parts ordering/pickup experience.
-
Always fast with repairs on site. Fair pricing, great people.
-
Not interested in helping find parts unless you know exactly what you need and have all the make and model info needed.
-
This place made me so mad they tried to fix something then broke it then they made my pay extra
-
Do not do business with this company. They are attempting to charge me for there time looking up parts. No service was ever performed.
-
We are very unhappy about their services. We were charged $427 for something they did not even fix. I would never call them again. We called them twice about this issue, they said they would call us back but no one called us back. I do not recommend doing business with this company.

NEVER CALL THIS COMPANY!!!! Price was OUTRAGEOUS!!!! I specifically asked the Tech to clean out the compartment that housed the electric parts; he did not at $92/hr!! Was never told about all their FEES they were going to hit me with- Freight $36.64, Service call $51, ZoneTravel Charge $102= $723.82 to fix a $264 part issue!!!!!!!!
-
I was charged a service fee, a travel fee, a fuel fee, and four hours of labor and I cannot, after numerous emails to several people, get the company to explain what took four hours. It’s bizarre!
-
Good online and phone customer service. The tech was on time and very courteous. The issue with my oven wasn't complicated, and I had all the parts needed on hand, but wanted a professional to verify. The time it took (2hrs) to troubleshoot the simple fix (relay) is why only 4stars.
-
Not gonna be calling them again. Pretty expensive and took about 2 weeks for parts and it's not even the right part. The oven still has issues and the tech was not friendly or seem to care. Don't recommend them at all.
-
Rip off, called to fix the burner knob, Tec came out spend about an hour and said he have to do research to fix this, and left and called after a week and said there 2 different parts he can bring and try and I said no. Without fixing the problem they charged me $525. I called DEWITT EQUIPMENT CO, Tec came and fixed the knob in 25 minutes and charged me $175. If you don’t want to get ripped off then call any body but general parts
-
Unfortunately, this company bought out the company that we were previously using. Since they General Parts took over, we can no longer contact our service technician directly to discuss equipment issues, billing has increased, and customer service is down. We will be going elsewhere for our future equipment service needs.
-
Use some else!!! Technician by the name of Skip showed up to our restaurant smelling of marijuana Smoke gave no explanation on what he was here for as our young manager gal was unaware of any type of technician showing up that day. We never got our counter fixed under warranty.
-
Don't trust this company, better call someone else.
Technicians are not smart enough to understands the problem and they are not properly trained or enough knowledgeable to work on any equipments which is why its take double the time than any other company.
Be ready to make your wallet empty if you call their service. Insance price on everything they do. Its a joke when you read their invoices. Charge everything 3-times more than normal in market price.
Make sure you understand their service price before you call them for any help and ready to pay them 3-times extra on top of that. Every second they spend on anything they doing will cost you $100 or more per minutes.
STAY AWAY from this company. -
I would highly suggest finding another company, to service or repair your unit. I will be one hundred percent truthful with my experience with General Parts Group.
To start, I had the tech come out for regular maintenance on my fryer. The tech was experienced and very knowledgeable. This service call (November, 2023) was during issues with parts and shipping issues, here in the USA.
I asked for the tech to make any recommendations, to prevent possible delays, in the future with parts. The tech had ordered these items directly from it's parts department.
Fast forward to August 2025....
I contacted General Parts for another maintenance appointment. I was told someone would setup the appointment, and the tech would reach out for a date. This didn't happen......So, I had to call (August 4th, 2025)and find out that they won't be doing business with my company anymore.
I was told it was because of my behavior, which was for poor communication and lack of response from General Parts (Scott (mgr) and Brian (Owner? General Manager?))
This was a shock. I had been frustrated by their actions. I'm a small business, and each day down is expensive. I only wanted to be treated with respect, along with open communication to what was going on. Instead, it was a blame game situation.
August 4th, 2025
I contacted Blodgett which is manufacturing company. They advised to contact another preferred vendor, on their website. I called and had an appointment setup for August 11th, 2025.
August 11, 2025
The preferred vendor arrived for service today. The tech was here to switch out my "drawer motor assembly" on the fryer, along with the regular scheduled maintenance. I was told by the tech the replacement part was incorrect. I had him reach out to Blodgett for confirmation....the wrong part had been ordered by General Parts Company.
I called General Parts Company and spoke with Scott. I was told there was nothing they could do, since its been 2yrs. I asked how can you tell me nothing, when General Parts ordered the incorrect part? He explained there is a 90 day policy on parts.
So, they wont come and fix the unit. They ordered the wrong part, and will not exchange it for the correct part? His answer was NO.
August 13th
I called and left a message for Scott. I was told he was in a meeting and unavailable. Scott was supposed to discuss with Brian this situation.
August 14
CRICKETS......
August 15
Called Scott....Told me to pound sand. I was passed to Brian. I WAS TOLD GOOD LUCK AND HE HUNG UP.
I swear this review is to the best of my ability. I think General Parts Company lacks communication skills, organization, and management problem solving skills. I wasn't asking for anything free, I purchased a $525.00 part that wasn't the correct part.....I wanted the correct part.
Stay clear of General Parts Company. -
Driver almost rear ended me twice while in the HOV lane with one driver in the service van. Apparently this company feels like they are above the law. With this type of moral compass I would hate to see how they treat their customers.

bad costumer service

Always quick!!
