After dealing with a one-man company for my AC unit and not getting anywhere, Gonzales Heating & Cooling was literally a breath of fresh, COLD, air! The gentlemen with this company were attentive, listened to me, and did everything to troubleshoot my AC issues without leaving time in between. The first guy that came out spent nearly 4 hours trying to figure out what was wrong and troubleshooting the most common issues. When he still couldn't get the AC up and running consistently, he called for backup. Two more guys showed up and they confirmed everything that the first guy tried, plus more. When the AC unit still wouldnt kick in consistently, they made a plan with me and left a temporary fix in place while formulating what would need to happen next: a new compressor. They worked with me on getting a new compressor and getting it covered by my insurance, etc. I now have a consistently working AC unit! Thanks, guys!

Scheduling was easy. The crew arrived at the time they promised. The guys were personable and professional. Service was done and I was left with some suggestions for future preventative maintenance and was educated on the work they performed.

Sonny and his crew of guys took care of my family and I. We had our package unit go out on Wednesday and they had us a new one installed on Friday morning.
Not only was my old unit to small for my house. It had been installed improperly and was sucking in dusty air from out side. I appreciate your hard work and continued business with me and my family.

Gonzales Heating and Cooling has been a family owned business for nearly 40 yrs. My family has been part of that journey for 25+ of those years. The service they provide has been great. Everyone who is native to AZ will tell you, A.C companies come and go in this state. To survive as a small business is a challenge in itself, let alone an A.C company. That in itself should tell you that they must be doing something right... I recommend that anyone who needs some A.C work to give them a call and see for yourselves....

I can't say enough about Sonny and the team at Gonzales Heating & Cooling. We've used them for years after one of the bigger companies disappointed us and my dad recommended them.

Our air went out over the weekend and the owner Sonny came out himself first thing Monday morning to inspect our 16 year old unit. It ended up being the variable speed motor and he quoted us a fair price on it but the unit was 16 years old so he also gave us quotes on a new unit.

From Monday morning when we talked to Tuesday morning at 10:30 am we had the new unit delivered, crane ready to replace it, and Sonny and his team was there early to start the prep work needed. Just before 1pm we had cold air blowing again!

The level of service and professionalism we have experienced with Sonny and his team are the reason we continue to call Gonzales Heating & Cooling for all our AC maintenance and repair needs and continue to recommend them to everyone in need of an honest, quality, heating and cooling company. Our entire family in the valley uses them and we couldn't be happier with the job they do!

Gonzales Heating and Cooling has installed and maintained A/C and heating components in our 1930-vintage home during my 30 years of ownership. Most recently, the 40+ year old blower was on the brink of failure, emitting a noise of metal grinding on metal. Sonny — the company's owner — came out on a Saturday morning, diagnosed the problem, and fixed it with genuine expertise: he removed the blower assembly, tore it down, rebuilt it with new bearings, and reinstalled it. The easy fix would have been to sell me a new one, but he was able to repair it and save me a bundle of money in the process. Excellent work, excellent value. Highly recommended.

Just want to thank Gonzales Heating &Cooling for coming to my rescue time and time again. During covid, it was so hard to find a company to come out and assist my family with our system. They came out with no hesitation, and I continue to utilize them for any and all needs. We are a military family, and to know that this company is Veteran owned gave me comfort. They are boots the ground! I would recommend this company to anyone. Stellar service!!

Be very careful using them especially purchasing a new unit! They swear from their office your AC is perfect while I’m sweating watching the temperature climb!
We never had problems with them for routine maintenance until we bought the new AC. The AC has had several problems but they said it’s ok for it to turn off during the storm wait 10 minutes turn it back on????? The wind made it turn off during storms so we waited 10 min and almost died in sweltering heat! They have come out to remedy the problem without any luck and suddenly one day Sonny decides he’s gonna give us another one? Was it brand new? We don’t know we haven’t received paper work on the”new one”? New one has cut out once so far. AC just started getting hotter and hotter! I called and mr personality Henry was literally yelling at me “It’s Working” from the comfort of his office??? Thermostat started at 76 then 77 then 78, 79 and on up! They said they would come out the next day but we asked for Friday because I need my husband here when they come out and since it started working again Friday would work better for us. They call Friday at 12:30 pm to say they are very busy can’t come out till next Friday! Them Mr Henry got confused left me a voice mail ( for another person) stating they sure can come out in 20 min to fix this others persons problem with their AC??? Cancelled us but took in another person’s ac problem
I’m in contact with American Standard and next BBB bureau! (Gonzales)They don’t take responsibility for the machine “they said,” they lose money every time we have a problem with our new unit. ( they can’t collect money it’s under warranty) We paid $ 950.00 for extended warranty and we are losing money for a bad unit and an extended policy! He didn’t give us another one out of the kindness of his heart after a year and a half? Then suddenly they replace it with another one with the same problem? We have had 2 other systems over the years and never had any problems. Those ac units lasted 20 years and worked fine so blaming insulation, wiring, electrical is grasping for a way out. I thought after 20 years with our old one we needed a new unit to prevent any issues in this sweltering heat. Well I should have kept my old one and saved my money! They don’t like to fix problems if they aren’t being paid but they took my money for an extended warranty???? I don’t feel comfortable calling them or dealing with them. They like to pretend we adore calling them with made up issues even tho I have pictures of the thermostat climbing with date and time??? They are nasty when they hear it’s us calling? I want my money back and find a reputable company who stands behind the product and workmanship! They don’t honor a warranty or extended policy! We just paid for a new unit and expected to be worry free for the next 10 years at least with our purchase of an extended warranty!!!

These guys are fantastic. Excellent customer service and great work ethic. Our ac stopped working, the home warranty (first American) did nothing to help us, their contractor kept canceling. The team at gonzalez air conditioning helped us, showed up on time, got us a new ac unit. We’re super happy with them and will be working with them long term. We Highly recommend this company!

Gonzales Heating and Cooling provided excellent customer service when replacing a dead A/C unit. I called on a Sunday, when they were closed, had a quote on Monday. Once I decided to proceed, they had the unit and crew here in 2 days to get it fixed! Their techs were all professional, courteous and very thorough.

I would absolutely work with Gonzales H & C again in the future!!! And, I would not hesitate to recommend Sonny, Braeanna and the entire team to my friends and family.
