Let me first start off by saying I appreciate everyone at first choice for taking care of my father and installing two new AC units. Special thanks to Tori for handling all the finance questions for myself on behalf of my father. Big shout out to Dustin and James who worked all day to handle the installation of a huge job. (Sorry if i got the names wrong). It's not easy to please my father, but he was very pleased with the great customer service and installation he received. I have been using first choice for my personal home for two years and referred 1st choice to my father because I knew that the service would be great. I highly recommend first choice, a family own business who service is excellent. Thanks again for taking care of pops. He can now sleep well.

My wife and I got both our shower facets and piping replaced. First Choice completed the job promptly and at a good price. We will be using this company again if we ever have any other plumbing issues!

Justin was efficient, informative and easy to work with. We have been customer for years! When we had emergency on a weekend the service was quick and reasonable. They got us up and running until necessary repair could be completed.

Everything from answering my call on a Sunday in February, coming out to assess my broken ac, to installing my new system was first rate professional. I felt like they appreciated the business and I felt very comfortable with their pricing, without having to get several quotes.

Full ac/heating system install with 1st Choice. Very professional in all aspects, quote process, scheduling, follow up and the actual installation. Started and ended very much right on time (all day job). House & yards cleaned up as if it were theirs. Big expense replacing two units but you should absolutely quote 1st Choice.

A few years ago, I had 1st Choice install a new air conditioning unit in my house. I’ve had absolutely no issues with the system, and I know they’ll take care of any problems that arise. Now that they also offer plumbing services, they’ll be the only company I’ll call if I ever have plumbing issues. I highly recommend this company. If only they also did electrical work, they’d be the only company I’d call for any home related problems.

We hired 1st Choice AC Repair for a full AC replacement, new ductwork, and insulation… and I cannot say enough good things about this company. From the moment they showed up, it was clear we were working with true professionals.

Great group of people to work with! We received a fair price and clear communication throughout the entire process. We always knew what to expect and when, which made everything feel organized and stress free.

Although there was an issue with the roof installation that caused some internal water damage, they responded immediately. They quickly sent out a roofing company as well as painters to assess and repair the damage, and everything was handled promptly and professionally.

It’s easy to recommend a company when things go perfectly, but it says even more when a company stands behind their work and resolves issues quickly. First Choice Mechanical AC did exactly that. I would definitely use them again.

From now on - the plumbing service company that I'll be using. Super friendly folks, explain at a great level of details what fixing/repair options are available, their pros and cons and then working hard to follow the plan. Jeo did an amazing job helping me understand what issues my AC hand. He didn’t try and upsell me on service I didn’t need. He was honest and straightforward with his quote. I really felt he had my best interests in mind and wasn’t trying to nickel and dime me. I feel I can trust 1st Choice with any future fixes or installations. They will be the first ones I call. Tim and Nate are absolutely WONDERFUL! I had 4 quotes to fix the hot/cold zones in my two story house. Each vendor all came to the same conclusion; however the solutions to my problem were all different and two were boarderline fraudulent! Tim took several hours to scour over my electric bills, perform an energy audit and then explain (NOT man-splain) several options to correct the duct work in my 30yo home. Nate came next to assure the plan was feasible without damaging anything structural in my attic. To top it off I was having company in 4 days so 1st Choice arrived at 7am on the agreed work day with 6 trucks and 7 men! They worked until 9pm in order to assure everything was operational. This type of service, attention to detail and honesty is rare and I greatly appreciate the quality and value of this family run local business.

Shortly after posting my original review, 1st Choice Mechanical reached out immediately to ensure my complete satisfaction. While a quality control follow-up is standard practice and I had simply slipped through the cracks, they took full ownership of the situation without hesitation.

A representative came out, answered all of my questions, addressed my concerns, and got me scheduled to repair the scuttle. The response was professional, proactive, and reassuring.

From reception to sales to the technicians, every team member I interacted with was top-notch, friendly, professional, and genuinely committed to making things right. Their willingness to listen and act quickly speaks volumes about their customer service and integrity.

I truly appreciate how seriously they take feedback and customer satisfaction, and this follow-up experience reinforced my confidence in recommending 1st Choice Mechanical.

After attending a home show, I learned that 1st Choice Mechanical was offering energy audits and decided to take advantage of the opportunity. The audit itself was very informative, and I discovered that both my ducting and AC system were not compliant for the size of my home. 1st Mechanical provided a detailed quote, and after obtaining three additional quotes that were roughly half the price, I circled back to them because I was genuinely impressed by their professionalism.

I asked why their pricing was significantly higher, and they took the time to reassess the project, lowered their price, and clearly explained the differences in scope and quality between their work and that of other HVAC companies. Based on that transparency, I ultimately chose to move forward with 1st Choice Mechanical and was scheduled for the same week.

The installation team arrived on time, were friendly, and worked efficiently. They completed the entire project in one day, which was impressive. However, I was disappointed with the housekeeping and communication surrounding the work. Insulation was left in clumps throughout my xeriscaping/landscaping, and there were no preventative measures taken to protect items in my garage. My washer, dryer, bikes, TV, and other belongings were covered in insulation dust, and no cleanup was done upon their departure. While it only took me about 30 minutes to clean everything with a leaf blower and towel, I would have prepared differently had I known what to expect.

Additionally, I was told the team would only be working in the attic over the house and not the garage, and I wasn’t advised to remove or protect any attic items. When I later inspected the attic, I found a white substance on a suitcase that I was unable to remove. The only direction I was given beforehand was to move my cars out of the garage. I also noticed insulation falling out of the vents throughout the house, requiring me to remove the vent covers and vacuum them myself.

They replaced the scuttle hole as part of the project, but the workmanship there was subpar. The staples were not fully secured, the wood was already cracked, and the cover is slightly too small for the opening. Lastly, there was no follow-up from the team to check on how the project went or to address any questions or concerns. While some of these issues may be standard practice, they were not communicated to me beforehand or discussed afterward.

Based on other reviews, I am confident the ductwork itself was done properly, and I appreciate the warranty, which gives me peace of mind as we head into summer. Overall, I would recommend 1st Choice Mechanical to friends and family for their professionalism, technical knowledge, and quality of work, but I do wish there had been better communication and attention to cleanup and customer follow-up.

We highly recommend Clear Air! Last summer our ac unit stopped working. The company quickly sent someone out who worked nonstop in the heat to get our home cool again. We also joined the membership to have routine maintenance throughout the year. The ac techs are always polite, honest and hardworking. We never felt like they were trying to upsell anything.

Another awesome job today! For some reason, my fan stopped pulling, and one phone call later I had all the support I needed! They were fast, friendly, and informative, and I will definitely be signing up for their annual plan!

Addendum: Had a power surge today and the AC went out. Thankfully Clear was available! One phone call and an hour and half later, repaired!!! They are so awesome and Veteran friendly!!!

My husband and I have been with Clear Air Conditioning for many years and have always been extremely impressed with the quality of service we have received from their office staff and technicians. We recently had our regular maintenance service with Tyler McLuen. He was prompt in coming out when he said he would be there. He did an excellent job servicing our unit. A leak in the system was suspected due to a stain on the roof that had come up prior to his scheduled service. He rapidly diagnosed the problem and we were set up to get it fixed asap, saving time and money on the job. Tyler is very knowledgeable, dependable and easy to work with. I would recommend Tyler and Clear Air Conditioning without reservation. They are a step above many in the industry and go above and beyond in their service.
