Penguin Air Plumbing and Electrical is an 5+ Business. I called at 4 and was still given a same day appointment. The Technician Jason explained everything he was going to do and all of the costs beforehand. He was very knowledgeable and explained things thoroughly. So there were no surprises.
We have seven rental houses and will be calling Penguin for all of our repairs from now on. I recommend this Business to everyone.

I asked them to do a water heater service, and they did a good job. However, they had to drain the water heater into the drain for our washing machine which isn’t a big deal, BUT the technician didn’t replace the drain hose for the washing machine back into the drain. Luckily, I caught it before I ran a load of laundry, but if I hadn’t double checked their work, then I could have had a serious problem on my hands. I shouldn’t have to double check their technicians work.

We had an issue with our water heater and called Penguin Air as they had previously done some a/c work for us. They were able to come out the very next day, and Jackson L. provided very professional, honest work to fix the problem. He also offered some suggestions for what to look for and future repairs to consider before disaster strikes! Appreciate the honesty so much! Thank you, Jackson and Penguin Air, for your help!

I wasn’t sure if I wanted to write this review, but I decided I should. I called Penguin Air to get an estimate for replacing my water heater. They gave me two prices—one if they supplied the water heater and one if I supplied it myself. I chose the option where I provided the water heater since it was much cheaper. I then scheduled an appointment for between 12 and 1 p.m. the next day and told the technician that I work, but I would come home during my lunch break when he called so I could be there.

The next day, the technician texted me at 9 a.m. saying he would arrive at 1 p.m. So I arranged my lunch break to be close to 1 p.m. and went home to meet him. He didn’t show up at 1. I waited until 1:15 and texted him to see if he was still coming. He texted back saying he was going to pick up parts first and then head to my house. Thirty minutes passed and he still hadn’t arrived. When I followed up again, he said he was 12 minutes away.

At 2 p.m., I had to cancel the appointment because I needed to go back to work—I was already 15 minutes past when I was supposed to return. The technician himself was very pleasant, but the company clearly has no respect for your time.

Jason was absolutely amazing! He took the time to explain what the problem was and how to avoid it in the future. Also took the time to explain how to drain my water heater and why it was important. Mica was great too. I love that he will be learning a trade.

Penguin Air was great to work with. They were very professional and worked with me financially. Jake was very helpful in making the purchase. The crew that installed the AC unit were very friendly and knowledgeable. My place was left clean.

Garrett did an amazing job taking care of my furnace, my heater went out and it was freezing in my house. Thank you for taking time on your Saturday to take care of my family, we appreciate you and your amazing job that you did. This company does heating/air, plumbing, and electrical. It’s hard to find a company that is reputable and that you can trust. I 100% recommended this company for your home maintenance or needs.

Nathan at the scheduling department is amazing every time he has helped me. I appreciate all that he has done for me and Comfort Communities. Also Kai on the Electrical department is great at communication and makes sure everything is taken care of when repairs are done. I appreciate all that Kai has done as well!

I had an excellent experience with Penguin. I just used them for a $29 hot water heater flush which included checking all my bathrooms and my kitchen for leaks. I learned it about my house in the process and learned I had no issues of significance but the process was well worthwhile. I would consider using them in the future if needed.

Absolutely phenomenal service!!! We had Sky come out to check our AC/furnace rooftop system and it had rusted into the ducts a bit. We had a team out to help replace the new system, and then had another team come clean the ducts and do the Aeroseal treatment. The service was impeccable, all of the technicians were extremely knowledgeable and friendly, and they made everything from planning, to implementation, to payment a breeze. Highly recommend!!!

I can’t say enough good things about these guys. From the moment they showed up, they were friendly, professional, and really took the time to listen to what I needed. They didn’t rush through anything — they answered all my questions, explained what they were doing, and made sure everything was done exactly how I wanted.

I inherited most of my grandpa’s tools, but my garage only had one outlet (which made using them basically impossible). The team at Penguin came out and installed a 100-volt sub panel, two double-gang outlets, one 240-volt outlet, and even a mini-split sub panel so I can cool the garage during the Arizona summers.

They got all of that done in just two hours — and the work looks beautiful. The wiring is clean, everything is neatly labeled, and you can tell they take pride in what they do. It’s such a relief to find a company that not only knows their stuff but actually cares about doing it right.

If you need electrical work done, I’d 100% recommend Penguin Air, Plumbing, and Electrical. Great people, great work, and an all-around great experience.

I've used Penguin on my vacation rentals recently. I've used many AC companies over the last 6 years. AC companies are, more or less, the same in a lot of ways. Penguin's prices are really competitive, though. I also really enjoyed working with this particular technician named Tim on my most recent visits. The work performed at my properties was fairly simple but he was really accommodating and very friendly. In my experience, techs are worked hard and taught to sell - this is the foundation of home service industries. Tim didn't feel that way at all. He stuck to the most cost effective, customer-first service. If I use Penguin again, I'll be asking for Tim.

JASON WAS AMAZING!!!!! I am very happy with my new water heater installation. Jason arrived on time, was courteous, and took the time to explain my options. The work was neat, efficient, and completed the same day! Everything is working great, and I couldn’t be more pleased and excited for a hot shower.

I had a handyman come and try to replace my kitchen faucet. That was a mistake. He made a mess of things and left me with no water. I needed a plumber asap. I called penguin and within the hour Jackson showed up and saved the day. He installed shut off valves for both the hot and cold water under the sink and even put in the new faucet! I'm so very very happy with the work he did. And he was fast and very knowledgeable. He got everything done in an hour while the handyman was here for 3 hours and just made things worse. I have a manufactured home and anyone that owns one knows that sometimes things are weird sizes but Jackson was able to take care of everything. I'm super happy with the work and the friendly nature of Jackson. Thank you so much!

John Crosswhite helped me with lighting fixtures in my house and he was amazing. He saved me so much money and also kept me from having a bad scenario electrically. We love him and the Penguin company for how helpful they are.

I don't usually write bad reviews but it was just crazy. ... We called Penguin for a clogged up sewer line. They quoted us $1800(!!!!) for hydrojetting service, so quickly Googled it and showed them online other companies offer for $500 or $600 flat rate. The price was borderline insulting like they think we are idiots -- we even have used them for this service before at half this rate. It looks like between then and now they were acquired by a private equity company that jacked up the rates. I will be taking my business to a local plumber who doesn't act like a one-time jetting a sewer line is worth the cost of just buying the machine at Home Depot.

Penguin Air responded in the best timing possible based on the current heat conditions and client requests in the Phoenix area. My technician was Chase Allen. He was extremely outgoing and very communicative on the issue found. He is very knowledgeable in his craft and explained the technical conditions of the failed components and options to get the system back up and functioning. Thanks Chase for cooling my 82yo aunt’s home from the sweltering 95 degree when he arrived. Finally he worked to review cost savings to be able to get all recommended components installed.

We've only used Penguin for a small fix so far, but contractors always make me nervous, and this was a great experience! Jenna set us up with great customer service, and Moses was helpful and honest with the work. They have fair pricing without pushy sales pitches. We'll definitely contact penguin next time something goes wrong!

Sebastian and Sam did excellent work installing new vents and duct work in our house today. They were very courteous and kind with their interactions with me. They also were very thorough at checking their work and cleaning up our house. I highly recommend them for any work that may need to be done.

Garrett was very professional and knowledgeable. Laid out all our options. Even looked up my warranty for me. If I’m not required to use another company because of warranty. I will definitely use Garrett again.
