Poor explanation of charges. Brigette owner and contractor failed to give any explanation of charges before charging fees that would have been completely avoided. I would not trust this company to do business with them.

Great overall service by Bridgette and their team. They were able to assist and get my home AC's up and running. Appreciate the hard work AAA.

They did an absolutely fantastic job replacing our entire a/c system and removing an old furnace from the attic. The whole process was done very cleanly, professionally, and with excellent communication.

Our air conditioning went out we had a home warranty we waited for them to approve it and get the parts in but as soon as the parts came in they scheduled us the very next day first thing in the morning and I appreciate them very much and now the babies and the dogs are all cool

The women answering the calls is clearly overwhelmed and dose not want to be there. She rude. Service was set 5/26 and now called. I waited 10 days and the person answering the phone say the order has not been in, but 20 seconds later she seen the order ( I can hers the paper Shuffling) and says oh it just came in. Forward 2 Weeks later and no call from them to my tenant (given number) I call they say go with someone else because they called but no answer, I ask why not call me back it’s been 2 weeks? No answer. It’s obvious they are too busy making money and under staffed. Do not use them.

If you live in North Phoenix American Air and Appliance is the way to go for air conditioning repair and/or appliance repair. As all of you know in Phoenix starting in June it can get to undesirable temperatures. On Friday at 3pm I realized my air was not working when it hit 85 in my house. I called around and searched on Yelp for advice from the public. No one was answering, one guy even said " I have no interest in servicing up there." I left a message at American Air and Appliance that I was getting frustrated with no one picking up and next person who calls me back gets the business. In less than 30 minutes I received a call back from Ian's (owner) wife, who by the way was vacationing with their son at some lake in Northern AZ. She said Ian, her husband, could be there within the hour. This was at 4pm on a Friday afternoon. He showed up within the hour, 55$ service charge which is taken off if there is something that needs repair.

He tested the capacitor and other things on AC I dont know anything about and determined the capacitor was out. It took less than hour for him to cool down my AC unit (because it had overheated due to the capacitor being out and the motor still wanting to run), replace the capacitor and get it back to pumping out cold air. Throughout this process I tested him with questions and stories about scam artists in the business, he was very upfront and honest with me and showed/explained what was going on.

I would recommend this guy to anyone in the valley. He stayed home and worked over the weekend while his kid and wife were jet skiing up north. It is him and a partner who do the work and his wife runs the back office stuff for him. Ian is your man for the job.

The two Techs TJ and Tanner were excellent! They came right when they were scheduled. Although they had a very busy morning the were thorough, paid attention to details, and most of all: LISTENED! In these times, it's hard to find associates with these skills sets! Thanks, AA&A! Glenn Goris

Ian worked on our dishwasher. He found the problem and fixed the problem. He was polite, professional and had great people skills. I wish our home warranty company would have sent this company out first because the first company they sent out did not do any trouble shooting!!!!

Ian is a first rate professional! We have used American Air and Appliance for at least 7 years. When we call, the service is scheduled promptly and with our needs in mind. As an added bonus, they accept our home warranty as well, for an even better experience. I highly recommend this company for all AC related needs and services.

American air and appliances was recommended by a neighbor and they did not disappoint. It was a relief to reach a person, and not an automated service, when our AC unit went out during the summer. Customer service from both Bridgette (phone) And all the on-site technicians was impressive.

They took the time to come out to look for the problem and discuss a variety of options leaving the decision ultimately up to us to replace the unit, which was 19 years old. We never felt as if they were hounding us to purchase a new unit I am we’re aware of all costs prior to the installation date.

The technicians were on-time, respectful, and the unit was replaced within three hours. They took the time to make a follow-up phone call to educate me about the system and future maintenance.

I just had a mini split unit installed by AAA in my garage. And as always I received the best service and an amazing install job. Everything is clean and discreet keeping it from being an eye sore. Ian also answered every question I had regarding the unit that was installed. I highly recommend Ian and his team at American Air & Appliance.

The owners are knowledgeable and really helpful. The employees are great too. We needed an AC replacement, but the home warranty company would not approve it. AAA not only worked with us, but they also advocated for the replacement over the quick repair that would not have been a fix. From a customer service experience perspective they also walked us through each additional step with the replacement, maintenance, cost advantages of new unit and thermostat, etc.

AAA installed 2 new units in my home. They did an amazing job. The entire crew was friendly, clean and respectful. They didn't try to upsell, just did exactly what needed to be done. I would recommend this company to anyone. Thank you AAA!

AAA is the best contractor when it comes to fixing your a/c heater and air condition, also if your swamp cooler is not cooling as it should be, call them and they will get it running perfectly, first time all the time. its a family business that has earned my respect. the staff is polite and efficient. call them, you will not be sorry.

Highly recommend! They have serviced our AC/heat pumps for six years with no issue. When it was time to install new units - seamless process, always professional and helpful!!!!

Our AC unit went out on us last Wednesday and we were panicking when it came to finding a company to come out and quote us. Having 3 dogs and a baby on the way, we needed work done ASAP. Genesis referred us to American Air and I immediately reached out. The customer service from start to finish was absolutely amazing. Bridget/Bridgette was super helpful, sweet, informative and just overall made the process smooth and calm.
Ian came out and quoted us the next day and was very straightforward from beginning to end. He was personable, reasonable and didn’t try to haggle us like most companies do. They helped us get what we needed, what would work with us financially and just overall blew us away with how accommodating they were. Did I mention they set us up for the few days we had in between quoting and installing with portable AC units just to keep us comfortable?!?
I highly recommend this company to anyone and we’re super happy to have done business with them!

Our AC went out downstairs from a coil leak on a 7 year old unit. We received 4 bids to replace and not only was AAA the lowest cost but by far the best service. Bridget had called me next day to follow up on the quote and I had already hired a different contractor before even getting their bid. But Bridget fought for the sale she explained some things need to be made for my installation and she needed to find out when the job can be done. 45 min later she called back and said we can do tomorrow. She went above and beyond. The installation crew was also fast and professional laying down cloth etc to protect our home. I highly recommend AAA and I’m not sure I’ll ever call anyone else again after how great my experience was.

I wish I could give this company zero stars. Almost two weeks ago, I called this company to have my stove installed. They told me they would be out the upcoming Monday, I verified with them again before the end of the call, and they said yes. Waited around on Monday, no one came. So I called again, and the woman was so incredibly unpleasant, telling me that I had gotten the date wrong, implying that I was lying, telling me that she had stood by the girl who had been talking to me a few days before, and knew I was wrong ( surprisingly, this 'girl 'I had been talking to sounded remarkably like the manager), overall unpleasant experience. I let it go, and didn't continue arguing because I just wanted the stove installed and to be done with it.
Today was the day they were supposed to install, and i have never had such nasty behavior from a business. I was at the hospital, when I got a text saying that a technician would be there at 11:20
This was sent at 10:30 am, my phone was on silent so I didn't realize they had tried to contact me until 10:51 am, which I sent a text saying that I needed to reschedule, could they come in the afternoon
Called at 10:55 am, told the same woman what was going on. She said they wouldn't be able to come out again until April 7,2025 if I wasn't there.
I said OK, let me see if I can get home or find someone to be home for me today, and I'll call you back
She said OK, call and let us know
I call five minutes later, getting voicemail, but letting them know I'll be home
They just send me a text saying that it has to be April 7 now
I call the company, and speak to the same woman, who is incredibly nasty, and towards the end of the call is just yelling at me before she hangs up
If you want a company that is going to take forever to come out to your property, if you want to speak with a woman who is aggressive, rude and just yells at you, this might be your place.
Personally, I will be letting all my friends and family know to avoid this business at all costs

I had AAA install my new air conditioner this summer. They were very communicative and made the whole process virtually pain free. Unfortunately, the thermostat was wired not quite right so my heater portion wasn’t quite working. I called and within a few hours I got a call back and they had a worker come out super fast to fix it. TJ came and was so sweet and fixed it right up! Also took the time to check out my unit and air filter.
The husband and wife who own this place are amazing and truly care about their customers. I definitely recommend them for all your AC needs!
