Plumbing reviews in Phoenix, Arizona

Had outside clean out drain snaked out at a very reasonable price compared to double the price at a previous competitor price. Also did not try to get me to join a company family plan or upscale the job at a much higher price.

David conducted our semiannual checkup on our ac unit. He was friendly, knowledgeable and a very efficient technician. We also renewed our yearly maintenance agreement with him.
-
The plumber arrived on time, explained my options clearly, and promptly repaired my toilet. He also went over their maintenance program which I thought was fairly priced, so I signed up. He even checked my water heater and explained future options. Great service!!

We have required plumbing services a few times and Patrick Riley has been wonderful each time. Kamil in particular has been helpful and takes the time to explain what is needed and why.
-
I called into your office on your pricing. Was basically we told it is what it is. It is just too crazy for me to use again. Been using you for five years, and that will end today. The part you installed cost $100. Yet you charged me $750. I do understand there should be additional cost above the part in installation, but that markup is crazy.

The service fellow Gavin did call before arriving. He helped me with the new contract for services.
I do have another service appointment scheduled for April.
If possible could Gavin be the fellow to do the up and coming appointment for service.
Thanks for helping me.

Mr. Guthrie showed up on time he was friendly, courteous, very professional. He took the time to clean up after himself and explain everything in detail offering up suggestions to make the system run more efficient even replaced my filters. No charges for anything
Awesome thanks gentlemen -
My mom had a leak in her bathroom faucet that wouldn't turn off. We call Patruck Riely Isley at 6:30 a.m.. the operator booked us a same day appointment. Miko explained every step, gave price options on how to repair it. He was very contentious and worked really hard to please my mom who is 94 and need thing to be easy and familiar. I totally recomend this company!♡♡

I've had Patrick Riley work on 2 projects on my house, first a huge plumbing crisis and later some electrical enhancements.
The good:
1. They did the job quickly
2. Everyone was friendly and accommodating to me working from home etc
3. They provided good financing options
That said, here's what I was frustrated with:
1. I paid $14k for a crisis plumbing project. I was told ahead of and during the project that my pavers would be put back after the project ended which they didn't do leaving a nasty spot of dirt on the only walkway to my backyard.
2. I was told the clean outs that were installed would be flush with the replaced pavers. I specifically asked because it's the walkway and I was concerned people may trip on them. They're RIGHT outside the 1 door into my backyard along a narrow pathway. They did not do this either and told me as they were leaving to contact a landscaper to fix it. Bruh I just gave you all my money, I don't have any to pay someone else to do the work you said you would.
3. The electrical work, they promised me they would do on a specific day, "even if I need to come do the work myself, we'll make it happen" said the guy I signed the paperwork with. I didn't get a call from anyone from Patrick Riley until the day AFTER we had scheduled the repairs to be done.
4. They did not do the due diligence they needed to vet the electrical project in the first place. When the team showed up to do the work, they told me they'd need to open massive holes in my kitchen ceiling. The cherry on top was that they were not going to be able to repair the holes they would be making, leaving me scrambling because I had not planned on having or fixing massive holes in a primary living area. I thought we figured out a solution within my budget so I let them get started. In the end, I had to pay for materials and spent hours youtubing & buying materials to finish the project myself.
5. The lead guy on the project saved most of the pieces he had to cut out to make my repairs easier later but another worker threw away the piece of my wall leaving me to buy new drywall too.
6. The project involved disconnection of a gas line. These was an electrical project. I said I don't mind if you disconnect it since you will be working on it but I want a plumber to reconnect it so I know its safe. When he requested this from the company they rejected it and told me to put some water & soap on it. This is the one that really set me off. I'm literally paying you thousands of dollars on top of the $14k plumbing project I did with you and you can't send someone to do it right to make sure my house doesn't explode?? Come on. Its a safety issue beyond good customer service. What they did was absolutely unacceptable.
7. Faulty breaker - They installed 2 new AFCI breakers. One was bad within the month. Due to a personal health crisis my family managed it so I'm not sure if it was workmanship, the part, or some other factor but given everything above I was already done and wouldn't have trusted them to resolve the issue.
I wanted to like Patrick Riley. Everyone has been very friendly, they helped me with a very nasty plumbing issue, they are proactive in calling me to schedule free checkups on my water heater & AC. But in the end I just ended up feeling disappointed and taken, like I'd overpaid for some shoddy work.
The reps do work on commission so realize that is a factor when you're discussing prices - don't rush into a decision and be sure to cross compare to make sure you get the value you want. If I learned anything it's whatever they say they will do, they are over-promising. In my experiences the jobs were left undone and I needed to complete them or pay someone else to come in. Sure, they completed the necessary work but both times after they left my house just looked nasty and I felt sick disappointment. -
Ernest Gutierrez did an excellent job in getting my A C units running and in top shape. We had a problem with one unit shutting off due to plugged drain. He took the time to flush out the drain as well as accomplishing other key actions to ensure top performance. Much appreciated for a job well done!

DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY OR GEORGE BRAZIL
I had an extremely disappointing and unprofessional experience with Patrick Riley during the installation of a new AC unit, which cost $17,000. I initially called George Brazil but was told their sister company Patrick Riley was available sooner. Despite the substantial investment, the service was far below what was promised and honestly worse than a McDonald's employee.
We started off the day around 7am when Ivan rang my doorbell, upon answering I was given a finger to hold on as he was on the phone asking a buddy to bring him Ibuprofen (for what I can only assume was a hangover as he later laid in my lawn throwing up). This was just the beginning of a series of issues that made the entire process a nightmare.
All three technicians entered and exited my house with their shoes on, leaving dirt and debris throughout my home. They were unprofessional and did not know what they were doing. I overheard the technicians discussing their mistakes and expressing uncertainty about how to complete various tasks. Their conversations included phrases like “It’s whatever”, "we can make that work" and “You need to put it on the bulb, the bulb, the bulb. You really gotta start learning these words." reflecting their lack of professionalism and knowledge when it came to installation. The installation, which was supposed to take the length of the work day, stretched to 13 hours and still wasn't completed (and isn't at this point, a week later).
They left caulking on my floors and in the garage, without cleaning up or communicating either. They left my bathroom sink dirty and broke the soap dispenser in there, again with no communication.
My driveway was a mess the entire time, with the contents of their three vans laid out across my cul-de-sac. I had run to the store to get them electrolytes in addition to the 6+ water bottles they each got, and they were so kind to leave the empty Body Armor bottles I had purchased sitting in the driveway for hours.
I received no confirmation paperwork of this transaction (quite a shady business practice imo). They left the customer warranty booklet on a shelf in the garage rather than giving it to me directly and nobody taught me how to use the new thermostat.
Additionally, there were white paint marks left all over my garage, driveway, and entryway, which they had admitted to knowing they left after the fact, but no communication was made to me.
In the middle of the day, Ivan (who asked for Ibuprofen as he arrived) was found throwing up in my front lawn by my neighbors. No communication was made to me whatsoever, and he continued to touch my property (including my thermostat) with his unwashed hands. I'm a very reasonable person and am able to forgive a lot, but the lack of communication on all fronts is gravely unprofessional.
Throughout the job, the technicians took multiple phone calls, some of which included the repeated use of the n-word in front of an underage child. They lied about many aspects of the job and have consistently failed to return my calls, providing excuse after excuse for why the issues have not been resolved.
Based on my experience, I strongly advise potential customers to seek alternative providers. I wouldn't wish this experience on anyone. What was supposed to be a day has turned into over a week with no resolution in sight. The lack of professionalism, respect, and competence demonstrated by Patrick Riley is unacceptable, and I hope my review deters others from making the same mistake.
Update: They called to offer me $850 to take my review down, they said "help me help you". $850 off a $17,000 bill isn't much when it cost over a week of my time due to their failures. When I politely declined stating that I felt it would be a disservice to others to not be upfront about what happened, they quickly got angry and flipped it on me saying how I should be grateful because this is a great offer. Shameful company. -
We had our air conditioning unit serviced today and we were super-pleased with our technician, David Shelton. We just had to give him a shout-out!! He was knowledgeable, respectful, funny. He was open and honest about what we needed and what we didn’t. He took time to sit (yup, actually sit!) and answer our questions and discuss our concerns. And he was super helpful in deciding our future steps with the unit. We appreciated his honesty! We will definitely request him next time!
David Shelton is an awesome representative of this company! -
Aaron the technician was very Knowledgeable and helpful and explained everything so I could understand what was going on with my AC unit. He was very thorough. I felt I could trust him.
-
Shawn was very professional. He was a pleasure to meet, very knowledgeable about what he was doing. I would recommend this company to anyone that needs cooling, plumbing, electrical work, etc. Top notch. A pleasure to do business with.

We had to replace our electrical outlet box and add an outlet above our oven for new microwave..Our technician Joseph did a great job. he was able to take care of all this in one day. I appreciate he's professionalism and he's prompt work. I look forward to recommending Patrick Riley in the future to friends and family

Christian and his team did an amazing job on the installation of our brand new York AC unit. We were the winners for the month of June for the unchill bills contest that we heard about from 98KUPD. They showed up and were professional from start to finish making sure to cover the carpet and stairs with mats and drop cloths to insure the floor would be clean when they left. They removed the old unit and used some dirt from my yard after asking so they could raise the level of the ground to make sure the new pad wouldn’t break when they installed the condenser. After taking care of the outside unit they went up to the attic and started the removal of the old Carrier unit which they made quick work of. Out with the old in with the new and a few hours later they were charging the system making sure the correct weight of refrigerant went in and that all the pressures were good to go. After they finished and started testing the system we checked and found one of our rooms wasn’t getting any airflow but all the rest were good. They climbed back in the attic and installed a scoop because there was a dead zone in the plenum not allowing air to flow, but that was corrected with the scoop and now everything flows better than it ever has. We are a veteran family and have worked so hard for everything we have, it was nice of Patrick Riley Services to help make our home more comfortable to live in. To Zachary, Marco, Christian and his team and everyone at Patrick Riley we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for this wonderful experience.

We have been very happy with the service at this company. Jon has been super helpful and responds very quickly when we need help with our Generac. We switched to Patrick Riley after being unhappy with the original installer. Best decision ever.

When their tech was here, he told me I had no refrigerant left in the unit and needed a new compressor( $4500)for a 5 year old heat pump. I had someone else come by for an estimate - all it needed was a new relay switch. Nothing was wrong with compressor and refrigerant level was fine.

Originally an Isleys customer, got roped into Patrick Riley by default due to the merger. Bought 3 yr maintenance agreement (prepaid). Went ok at first until I noticed a concerted effort to change or move up appointment arrival times. They got me once as they came and left prior to my arrival. Per wife, inspection was abbreviated and the required cleaning was not done.
Recently scheduled two different inpections for same day, both with 2-4pm arrival times. This initiated an immediate barrage of calls/contacts attempting to reschedule for earlier dates and earlier arrival times. Despite my efforts to keep appointment and arrival times as scheduled (2-4pm)
they changed it without notifiying me and showed up at 1130am. My wife requested they wait until I could get there but they repeatedly attempted to start the inspection immediately.
At this point, having had enough, I decided to cancel both appointments.
Due to this blatant disregard for the customer I am so fed up that I am actually forfeiting the final year of my 3 yr PREPAID maintenance agreement and will find another company for service. -
Initial visit was for a plumbing inspection. We found that we had a leak under one of the bathroom sinks. Malan fixed it for us.
We also told him the story behind the loose tub spout. These shower fixture kits are not easily interchangeable. A prior contractor removed the chrome ring and single shower handle. We could not get it back in without a major gap between the fiberglass panel and the chrome escutcheon.
Milan gave us options. You can only do so much with fiberglass panels. Tile might be a better idea sine you can replace the tiles you need to.
Thank you for all of your help Milan.
You are a wealth of knowledge and I know you did all you could do without the panel coming out.
