Building our pool with Shasta has been one of the best decisions we’ve ever made. I was skeptical at first that their expertise would be that different from other pool builders. I’ve seen enough pools that friends and family have built with other companies to now see the difference. Our pool has maintained itself - as described by our designer. We’ve had it for 5 years now and have only had to maintain basic chemicals and the pool does the rest of the work. Our friends who have built with other companies are already replacing their pumps and equipment. The size and efficiency doesn’t even compare to what we got. Don’t be fooled by other companies telling you they can deliver the same pool as Shasta for less money. Your pool is a huge investment - get it right the first time with Shasta!

Having to make repeated repair calls requarding the permanent repairs to my pool. The so-called permanent repairs don't match the pool plaster. This has been done twice. My pool is 4 years old and it looks horrible. The painted on pool decking has come apart and off in many places. Get told repairs will be made. Having to drain and refill the pool twice for the shotty fix is ridiculous.i called before and was told the warranty person was no longer with shasta.
I get a call from the warranty department. Warranty person is still with the company and will help me.

Signed a contract with Shasta in December 2019, it was recommended by our builder Pulte Homes , here we are today , no updates ,no one answer our calls or emails, one of the worst experience we ever had , from sales guy Dave to mgr Chris and project manager Lindsey , I won’t recommend this company to anyone that wants to build a pool , unfortunately we are stuck with Shasta , do research before doing any business with this company.

Our weekly pool maintenance has been a huge blessing for us. This service has allowed us to simply enjoy our pool without the stress of the cleaning. Our technician, Vince Sutton is fantastic. He is professional, friendly and very knowledgeable. He pays close attention to any and all issues with our weekly cleaning.

Chris DuBos geniously designed our pool by listening to us! His technical/engineering skiils and attention to detail are amazing. He literally took our dream pool and backyard out of our heads and into reality! The whole Shasta crew kept everything on schedule, just like clockwork and to our amazement kept the job site very clean. We didn't have to lift a finger. Shasta Pools built our dream pool, and we couldn't be happier! The process was seamless thanks to our outstanding salesperson, Cyndi . She created a beautiful design that perfectly fit our budget. Construction began in mid-September and finished in late November, with landscaping wrapping up shortly after. We are thrilled with our pool and highly recommend Shasta Pools!

Vincent from Shasta Pools just started taking care of our new pool. I recommend him highly, he does a fabulous job on our pool but also very courteous and kind. I find myself going out to talk with him when he’s here.

From the beginning Shasta exceeded my expectations. Brandon H worked to design an amazing pool that has kept our family and friends entertained throughout the summer season. There were a few questions/dependencies during the build time and Brandon was always quick to respond and make adjustments as needed. I continue to recommend Shasta to my family and friends. While taking a bit longer than what I was initially quoted, the options/cost/warranty/friendly staff is why we ultimately chose Shasta.

Overall I think Shasta did their best under difficult circumstances. My 4/5 is based on one thing. It was a shock to understand that our pool would take nearly a year to build because that news was not provided until the start of construction. This left a lingering negativity around the entire project experience for me. Again, it wasn't that the delay existed, it was the surprise of finding it out after we had already signed the contract. If the industry-wide delays had been shared up front I wouldn't have suddenly gone somewhere else, and I wouldn't have felt such a shock. Previously we had heard that pool construction would be 3-4 months. Whether or not it was true it felt as though the delay was hidden from us until it was too late to do anything about it and that is my only real complaint. Otherwise, I believe Shasta did everything they could to deliver and that the final product is quality.

I sincerely appreciate Shasta's response below. Our project must have fallen into the gap between normal timelines and the delays effecting the industry now. Thank you again and we will enjoy the pool for years to come.

We purchased a Pool with Landscaping from the Shasta Surprise location. Our Sales rep Jake Priest was wonderful, we were waiting on a new build from another state, he did a zoom meeting with us to start the design process prior to our move and put up with our many emails and texts do design us the pool and back yard get away that we wanted before we could meet in office. Even during construction Jake continued to check in remain helpful. Once Contruction started we were assigned one of THE BEST superintendents.... Andrew Guy is phenomenal!!!!! Yes, there were delays due to covid and many other factors and we were never told it would be a quick process, but he did tell us the why's if something was later than expected and he held to his promise that as soon as Shot Crete could happen it would be smooth sailing from that point on, and it totally was.
At the office Lindsey Magee would quickly execute our next steps and Janell Holub would follow through and contact us via phone or email to keep us updated and in the loop. Dean Bauer with their landscaping department was a gem. He came out, walked through our yard and sketched out what we wanted, he chose a fabulous selection of plants for us and was very knowledgeable and helpful, not being from AZ it was nice to have someone who could tell us the best plants to put in and how to care for them and he also had a lot of great suggestions for our landscaping that we loved and was mindful of our budget. He took his time to talk with us and even had books of plants available for us to look at.
Were there bumps in the road? Well of course but dealing with supply issues during an ongoing pandemic in the beginning of a recession as well as staffing issues in the current world were in, I'd say they did GREAT!
At the end of the day of course we would have loved to have been able to swim faster, and maybe some companies could deliver that. In fact, we talked to 3 others that said they could, but we wanted affordable with Quality, honesty and a company that takes pride in what they create. Shasta does that!! We signed our contract last October and now we are only a short couple weeks away from enjoying our completed new outdoor space and making many great memories with friends and family.

Cindi was our sales representative, to be honest she sold us on Shasta Pools. She was knowledgeable and thorough in our first meeting, the second meeting was even better. Her bubbly personality and patience with all of our questions made the choice easy. Thank you Shasta for sending her to us!

Look at all the locations on Google Maps and read reviews before signing up for Shasta to build a pool. Unfortunately they’re not the same company they used to be and the quality of their builds shows that.

We had our pool refurbished early this year. 2 hand holds have come off since, no big deal it's still under warranty. The first call took place May 12 then May 13, then several calls since. We have talked a few times, each time we talked they were "reaching out to the tile people". It's August 29th still not fixed. I recommend you use a company that employs the workers. "Gabriel and Sons" or "We fix ugly pools" were our other options when we decided to go with Shasta. We went with Shasta thinking they were more established, we were wrong.

Having my own background in art and design, it was a pleasure to work with Cyndi. She is an expert when it comes to backyard and pool designs. We embraced her ideas for pool placement, waterfall feature, a bench, Baja step, and fire pit. Cyndi is enjoyable to work with and has excellent communication skills. We highly recommend her expertise! Thank you! Cyndi you are awesome!

Jennifer was my main contact and she did great. Jennifer always called and texted. I always knew what was happening. From start to finish she made it very easy.
Gary showed up and taught me stuff I never knew about my system and helped me know my pool better than I did previously. He made sure it was perfect before he was done.

Very professional and quality work. Outstanding product and services. We hired Shasta to design and install an in-ground pool in our backyard, and we couldn't be happier with the results. From the first consultation to the final inspection, their team was professional, responsive, and highly skilled.

They helped us customize a design that fit our space and budget perfectly. The construction crew was punctual and respectful, always keeping the site clean and minimizing disruption. The quality of the materials and workmanship is top-notch — we've already had so many compliments from friends and neighbors!

My dad was having his pool remodeled we were picking out the new tile and pebble tech cement for interior of the pool . Staff very friendly and helpful. The pics are how it turned out... 1 day and 1night .
