Not happy about a Brown Chevy Colorado with your signage all over it blowing past stop signs in Marley Park. Not even a California roll, just straight up running them. Did it look like he was speeding? Yeah, I’m not a cop so can’t hold him to that. Did he do it leaving the neighborhood and then 10 minutes later coming back? Yep, sure did. I’ll remove the review if you want, I just want someone to know what’s going on and it isn’t right.

We hired Desert Oasis Custom Pools & Designs to landscape our backyard with pavers, synthetic grass, outdoor lighting, planting and irrigation. They did an awesome job and we highly recommend them.

I absolutely love our backyard. It’s like our own little vacation getaway. All our friends compliment the work that’s been done and enjoy relaxing in the backyard.

2 years, 2 months and counting since project start and still not complete… Still waiting for corrections to the spillway trays, low water level, skimmer box, etc. Five different people have been in charge of my build and no one ever seems to know what needs to be done. Once they receive your last payment you have little to no importance to them.
Will post an update if and when we have a finished project.

If I could give this company 0 stars, I would. Go with someone else. Our pool was supposed to be completed in August of 2022 and here we are in December, almost January and our pool is still incomplete. I have gotten the run around this whole time and excuse after excuse. We paid extra money to go with this company because of the timeline we were given and they have offered NOTHING to compensate us but excuses.
I asked to speak with a supervisor and all I was told is that THEY'RE losing out on money having our pool incomplete. Didn't acknowledge the fact that we paid extra money for a quicker timeline and didn't even seem sincerely apologetic. DO NOT use this company!

This is one of the worst companies. They are complete liars and are extremely slow. Please run! Do not do business with this company. We have been in a pool build for over 10 months with no end in sight. We are sick and frustrated beyond words. Their words mean absolutely nothing. I hope I can save someone from making the same mistake we did. Please head advice and pick a different pool builder! California Pools is a complete disaster. 😡

All turned out well; Cal Pools has a professional group for all aspects of pool and landscape construction, and they work in concert with each other efficiently to get the job done. Stephen Dreher, superintendent, coordinated the professional team to a high quality result.

I was very excited to get a brand new pool but I am very dissatisfied in how my pool is coming out. They accidentally messed up my electricity and refused to take charge until approximately 1 month later. They still refuse to pay for the cost. I was hoping to have a pool by the end of the summer but I know that is not going to happen. It has been almost 5 months since the beginning of the construction and I know they are not finishing any time soon. If you can choose another company I advise that.

We hired California Pools to build us a pool. They have always kept us informed step by step as to the progress of the pool, and return all phones calls promptly. They are an awesome company and we would recommend them to anyone

Excellent work and service. Had our pool installed 5 years ago. Still great.

It took 8 months to build our pool, when several neighbors who went with smaller companies had a beautiful pool within 4 months. Also, our pool sat undone for a couple months waiting for a Travertine crew. Communication was also lacking.
The finished product turned out beautiful, but the process definitely tries your patience.

I would seriously advise California Pools & Landscape to check in on the driver of truck #115. This guy is driving way too fast, swerving in and out of lanes, and changing lanes recklessly without considering anyone else on the road. It's only a matter of time before his dangerous driving causes an accident. If you don't want your company’s auto insurance to skyrocket or, worse, someone getting hurt, you need to address this immediately. Safety should be a priority, especially when your company name is on the truck.

The four stars are due solely to my scheduler (Sarah Dougan) working closely with me, doing so much to keep the project on track, despite the many issues that plagued the project (multiple no shows of scheduled work crews, damage to my property, fines from the HOA for garbage left by the crews, and deviations from project plans without notice or authorization) all of which, without Sarah's efforts, would've stretched the project to a year or more. Despite everything, the pool and landscaping were completed in less then 7 months. Sarah's work and good communication with me are the #1 reason this project was successfully completed.

We made an appointment and started to talk with someone about constructing a pool. Everything was going well and we signed a contract to start building our pool. An inspector came to see our property and mark where the pool was going to be. They told us everything was ready to start digging… so they did. After a while of digging, they heard a loud noise and realized they hit some pipes. Our electricity and water went out. We payed some people to fix our electricity because California Pools refused to be responsible for the damage they caused. This happened 4 months ago. Our pool was scheduled to be finished before my girls start school. California Pools are not even responding my fathers calls. 😕 Sadly, we cannot do anything because of the contract we signed.

The consultation and design by Damian K was impressive and transparent to a point that we signed our contract for the full services of California Pool & Landscape.

Stay informed within the CPL Portal, communicate with your scheduling team as well as your site supervisor, but be patient and trust that the wait is worth the reward.

Put a down payment on a new pool, far California pools and their employees have been great. Their customer service has been exceptional.
I will update once it has been completed.
I especially there online application. It is user friendly, and greatly appreciated. Knowing all upcoming steps helps to reassure us.

Pool is amazing. On time.I would use them again… The only problem I had was the original designer promised that they would blend the old pavers with the new pavers and they did not do that but it is what it is. The pool looks amazing and I’m very happy with everything except the pavers not being blended in with the new ones. And upon demolition, they threw away all my landscape rock so now I have to buy new landscape rock……

We are really enjoying our new pool. The people on our team are so nice. They where there when everytime we had questions or help with anything. Thanks for everything.

Scott and Jordan were great kept in constant communication with me with delays and scheduling. I was very pleased with Scott helping me design my and if I needed changes he was on point. Jordan was on point with the construction from start to finish he answered my calls no matter if it was on a weekend or night. California Pools gave me 5 stars service great company and great team. Thank you Scott and Jordan.

Although there were numerous, extensive delays (Covid, supply chain...) in getting our pool completed, we are satisfied with our final results.

In particular, our Construction Manager, Jordan Thrasher was outstanding, he deserves a 6-star rating!!!,
