I recently had Brewers Air Conditioning and Heating replace my Central A/C & Furnace and install a Mini Split system in my garage. Mark, the Comfort Consultant/Equipment Specialist took his time to go over my options and match a system for peak performance for both systems. I wasn't treated to any high pressure sales tactics either. The installers Jose and Freddie were punctual each day and ready to work. They exhibited great teamwork and professionalism...very detail oriented too. Jeremiah the project manager came out to make sure the job was going smoothly and according to plan. I would highly recommend Brewers Air Conditioning & Heating to anyone needing a new system, a repair or just routine maintenance on your HVAC system. Thanks guys!

On 3/15/18 I had my scheduled two week QCI appointment on the Central A/C and Mini Split systems I had installed at my place. That's a quality check inspection that Brewers Air Conditioning and Heating performs on each new A/C system installation. I received an appointment confirmation call the day prior to my appointment along with a narrower estimated time of arrival by their Service Technician. Service Technician Tru arrived on time and proceeded to perform the 32 point inspection and system performance test on both units I had installed. Everything checked out just fine. Tru was very polite and knowledgeable and he answered all the questions I had...same goes for each and every Brewers employee I had contact with including the girls in the office by phone.
    Thanks again!

7/8/2020 I had another annual inspection done. I received an Email with a picture to let me know which technician would be coming out. Guillermo arrived right on time and went over both of my systems top to bottom. When the inspection was complete he sent me an Email detailing the scope of the inspection for my records. Brewers runs a tight ship and they are very professional. With each passing year I've become more satisfied that I made the right decision to have Brewers Air Conditioning and Heating replace my old obsolete central A/C system and ad the mini split in my garage. Keep up the great work!

6/4/24 The mini split in my garage developed a noisy evaporator blower fan motor. Kyle came out and replaced the motor for me, thankfully covered under my warranty. Thanks guys, nailed it again.

Brewer's installed my new air conditioner last month and did a great job. Joseph and Cameron worked hard, fast, and were professional. They worked hard to rework a few old mistakes from the previous air conditioner installation and everything has been working smoothly. My husband and I both felt they did quality work and we highly recommend!

Came home after being gone for a week and our A/C unit was blowing warm air. Called Brewers A/C and they were very quick to respond. Ronnie, our technician was able to find the problem right away and fix it. He was very professional and friendly. Will definitely use them again for any other issues.

Driver cut me off and was driving reckless in traffic made a u turn like it’s not a work van. Very unprofessional

Absolutely phenomenal service and staff. James was my technician and he took care of the problem for me extensively. Poor guy had to be up on my roof in 115+ heat, that takes dedication to the job! And the office administrators, Rosie and Cathy, were both extremely pleasant and helpful. I had no issues communicating my (somewhat complicated) situation to them and we were able to work out a solution that was acted upon immediately. Much more kind words than I have for ACE, who jerked me around the entire time I was trying to deal with them.

Mario is a great Technician! He explained in detail everything that was getting completed. Brewers AC is a great company easy to make appointments and always took care of our needs. The whole team is great!

Our tech, Joseph, was very professional not to mention thorough! He completed all work in a timely manner and cleans up! It was already into the early evening and Joseph didn’t rush to just get the work finished. I would recommend Brewer’s to anyone who needs their air conditioning serviced. The friendly office staff, Kathy and Jennifer make it a joy to call and schedule an appointment too.

Kyle came today and I am so happy with this company that was so highly recommended and now I know why, they are top notch!!!! I’ve never had someone be so detailed with their inspection or explain things to me in my language. He cleaned my unit on the roof so well I could literally smell the cleanser… I’ve been here 10 years and I’ve never smelled a good smell after a cleaning, ever! This young man was extremely knowledgeable but most of all, HONEST! I’m a customer for life & asked him to please not retire! I’m giving Brewers my business for a new unit in the near future!!!!! Thank you to Babcock Plumbing, for the recommendation!!! I took several business cards to share with friends & neighbors.

    UPDATE:

The owner was able to follow up on an unfortunate situation. In times where unfortunate things happen... you hope you'll be taken care of, and Brewers did just that.

In previous contractor experiences (with other companies)... I've not been taken care of and I was worried that would be the case here.

They have made me even more loyal now than before with the follow up effort.

    OLD REVIEW:

I was happy with everything from these guys. Professional. They use the more quality equipment than those who can “save you money” without passing the “customer acquisition and overhead” costs on to you for those who run a “bigger organization”.

Overuse of quotes I know. But after interviewing several companies in the Ahwatukee area… these guys had the most bang for their buck in my opinion.

One thing they could improve and you might be aware of - if you have an attic they have to access and thereby break down they ARE NOT carpenters / handymen nor do they provide one. So be prepared to replace at your own cost if they have to break it.

Overall - I’ve exchanged conversations with several contractors / businesses / salespeople / laborers… an easy win for your money in this scenario.

Update. Used them again after a few years of no problems. Again very fast and professional service. I would highly recommend using them.

Great service. The office scheduler was very friendly and gave me fast service even though they were very busy with the heat wave. The technician was nice and showed within the time frame given. He diagnosed the problem and It was a 15 min cheap fix. I will definitely use them again.

I’ve been a customer of Brewer’s for over 20+ years. With my ESA membership, my system is checked bi-annually. Joseph Perez was our service technician today. He was extremely thorough in his inspection & maintenance & did a wonderful job. I love this company & have been a customer since it’s inception. Highly recommend Brewer’s to anyone who is looking for an honest, quality, reputable A/C & heating company.

Long review here, but a very accurate account of our experience. Overall the AC is still up and running, works great, but only after a stressful/uncomfortable experience. I tried multiple times to have a manager reach out to give our feedback, so now I'm here on Google reviews. Maybe you'll have a different experience if you ask a lot of specific questions up front?

Our AC died in peak summer heat and we needed help quickly. The sales person sold the dream and all sounded great, competitive pricing compared to the larger companies and they had fast availability. When the installation team was leaving for the first time, there was already a lapse in communication with pricing they had on their paperwork vs. the price we were given by the sales person. No big deal they figured it out and honored the original pricing.

Then, new AC ended up dying in the middle of the night and we sleep in a 90 degree house. We call in the morning, they send another team out, they fix the mistake (the tech is telling us something was installed incorrectly). Then, THAT SAME DAY, the AC dies again. They send people out, fix the thing that wasn't correct (again told by the tech not me making things up). After that, the house was cooling down sooo slowly we think something is wrong (you know, based on the new AC shutting off twice after installation). We probably call too many times at this point, but no one is giving us a straight answer, and the manager or owner they keep saying will call us back is non-existent. The sales person of course says that's not right and calls to send another tech out.

A third and clearly annoyed tech comes to the house to check on everything. He says everything is working correctly, then takes the time to explain reasons why the house is/could be cooling so slow: could be heat behind the wall where the thermostat is, could be that the house was 100 degrees and is just going to take a while, could be that we only have 1 air return which is upstairs, and so on. While I'm not an AC tech, I'm also not dumb and this stuff should have/could have been said by the first person who came to look at the house. OR by the first team of installers, OR the manager that never called us back, not the last person who was basically forced to come back to the house. It really put us as the customer in an extremely awkward situation because we want the thing we just paid $9k for to work, the sales person is still selling the dream, the techs are saying something else because maybe they have a different understanding of the equipment, and we're over here feeling like annoying idiots who don't know how AC units work, but we also want to live in our house again.

Like I said at the beginning, the AC unit works great and hasn't had any problems since. But, the company had communication issues, both internally and with us, that really put a negative spin on the experience.

    **Edited**
Heard back from the owner after posting this review. He let me know that we paid $9k instead of 5 figures (edited in the review). He also reminded us that no one who came to the house mentioned our insulation issue until the notes from the final tech. Looks like all of the inter-company communication issues have been solved! Should have just posted a review back in July instead of calling the company phone number, I'll admit that was my mistake.

I could not be more pleased and satisfied with Brewers. It is a wonderful and dependable company. I bought my new unit from them back in 2015. From the first time I called the office to this date I have had nothing but above and beyond excellent service. From the gals in the office, to the gentleman that sold me the unit, to the technician that comes out to do my annual service calls have been super friendly and more than happy to answer any questions I might have. I recommend them to everyone that would need this type of service. THANKS Brewers. I appreciate your company.

I had Jared out this afternoon for an estimate to replace one of my units. He was an extremely knowledgeable and friendly guy. Also didn’t try to hard sell me or close me on a monthly payment. He gave me all the info I needed and answered all my questions. They seem to be very fairly priced compared to the other estimate I received and there is a very good chance that they will be the company that I choose. I’m just one of those people who always get 3 or 4 estimates before making a decision. I highly recommend calling them, they seem honest and not over priced.

Very professional and punctual. I wish more businesses texted/emailed ahead of time like Brewer's does. I was notified that my technician, Mario, was on the way and it included a picture. I loved the fact that he was willing to explain everything (I was definitely shadowing him because I was curious as to how to troubleshoot the system). **Update: Just had Mike and Andrew out today to install a new unit. Very friendly. Not only knowledgeable, but willing to answer my questions. Very satisfied with Brewer's throughout this whole process. Well definitely be using them again and recommending them to friends and family in the area.

The tech showed up well before the scheduled time, he diagnosed the problem expediently, he explained the problems and my options, it took longer for him to get quotes and details from his office in comparison to the whole visit.

Two techs followed up about 2 weeks later. They took the time to make calls and see the issue through. (After replacing the frame, there was more humidity than prior to replacement. The solution was turning up the blower fan.)

I am completely and totally pleased with Brewers.

After receiving recommendations to improve efficiency and safety of my AC, David V. returned with Guillermo G. to do the work. They did it an incredibly thorough job. Very impressive results. It's obvious that Brewer's and their techs have the best interest of the customer as
the top priority.. Thank you so much.

I recently had the $79.00 service performed on my 2 story rooftop A/C unit. When the technician arrived he was looking for the A/C unit on the side of my house. I had to tell him it is located on the roof. His remark was "how do I get up there" he then left and later returned with another Brewers tech and borrowed his ladder. I asked the tech if he would be cleaning the condenser coil and the evaporator coil. He did clean the evaporator coil without turning off the A/C unit causing a strong smell to permeate through my house. Part of the $79.00 fee included inspecting the condensate drain. Two days later I had to get a ladder and unclog the condensate drain. (I'm 62 years old). I called and talked to Evelyn about the service I received and she told me "I will get back to you". She has not returned my call or email. Buyer be aware!!

I think it is time to review the Brewer's AC.

Background: signed up for the Bronze maintenance and have both ac units inspected in late March ($199 each so $398 for 2 units). Everything is good. AC units 8 years old, inspected 2 times a year.

7/22 - called Brewer's because one of the AC unit stopped working.
Pro - came the next day
Con - after replacing the contactor the unit still doesn't work (cost $500 - new contactor and a fuse), suspected the control board but needs a senior tech to confirm. Scheduled senior tech for 7/24

7/24 - senior tech too busy and reschedule for 7/25.

7/25 - senior tech came, and after inspection he stated that the control board is definitely bad but there could be other wiring issues that he can't confirm until the control board is replaced (control board being the brain for the unit). Someone from office will contact me for pricing.

7/26 - received a quote for a new control board ($1165) . Since I was away until 8/3, I have decided to look for a second opinion, I managed to find a true master technician/owner of an AC company to come to my house to inspect the unit on Sunday, 8/4.

8/4 - new technician inspected the unit and managed to get it working in 30 mins (and nothing wrong with the control board). 2 problems - wiring is a mess and he rewired the unit, the new contactor that was replaced by Brewer's on the 7/23 was defective and was replaced. He didn't charge me for weekend and only charged me for $700.

So now that got me thinking, why wiring issues all of the sudden? I don't have any issues for 8 years and switching to Brewer's and immediately issues popped up. And why would the senior tech said could be other wiring issues, does he knows something is wrong with wiring and try to milk me for a new control board, I can only guess.

I have waited for a month to write this review because I want to make sure the ac unit continues to work and to make sure it is not the control board (giving Brewer's a benefit of a doubt).

If I went with Brewer's I don't how much money I will be out for and I may still be without a working AC now ($500 plus $1165, so $1665 minimum). Am I going to call them back for the bronze maintenance for the winter? That is a no, so out another $200 for 2 units. Very expensive lesson here.

There are true master technicians out there who know what they are doing and there are technicians like from Brewers who guess what is wrong and you, the customers, are paying for their guessing game.

Our a/c stopped working last night. This morning, I contacted Brewers for repair. Their technician, Guy Young arrived early for our appointment. He was very professional and had the a/c working within 20 minutes. He explained what was repaired; which was under warranty.
We have always been very pleased with Brewers. They replaced our air conditioning about 8 years ago. Thanks to Guy Young for his knowledge of air and heating systems.

Jered was professional, detailed in his explanations and thorough in reviewing our house attic and current AC. We were pleased that he was able to give us a bid same day which was very helpful since we would like to replace our AC before it gets warm. Thank for the great customer service. We were pleasantly surprised.
