Professional in every way. Responded quickly to assess my A/C situation. My old system was 20 yrs old so knew it was time. Gave me options. Figured out only what I really needed for size of my home. Gave me lots of info to decide on. Installed in a reasonable time frame. Very neat and cleaned up afterwards so you didn’t know they had been around. Great pricing. Actually compared it to other companies.

Phil response to service call was excellent. Did not waste anytime. Part required was ordered immediately for next day service and arrive 5hrs early than anticipated and got the unit up and operating. A very satisfied customer!

I have used Nichols both residential and for my business for many years. I trust them and don't need to get competitive bids. I dealt with the Dad and now the son. They are trustworthy and even take care of my 93year old mother's HVAC. Even a Water heater install.

I have used Nichols for years back when Phil's father ran the business. I have used them for both commercial and residential service and installation. They are fair, prompt and trustworthy. Not much else you can ask for. I have used them to replace a water heater at my house and to do the HVAC installation at a small strip center. And everything in between. They will be around to service it too.

Thoroughly professional all the way around: timely, competitively priced, honest, helpful, efficient, reliable, no upselling, …. and CLEAN! After installing new ACs, air handlers & smart thermostats, you could not even tell they had been here. Highly recommend! Also, we’ll absolutely hang on to them for annual, service & maintenance.

Phil came late on Friday afternoon after my AC went out. Didn’t expect even a call back at that late time of day. Not only did he call, he came AND fixed my problem. I was so thankful! Always the best. This time we needed gutters to carry water off our roof. The metal craftsmanship is superb. Nichols pays attention to details, matching previous work.

Only received an estimate after 5 attempts to call and track down Phil and Paul - probably the only red flag I needed. Finally got an estimate; vaguest thing I’ve ever seen, and suspiciously matched $ for $ an estimate I received from one of their competitors (made mistake of sharing a previous bid). For (4) runs of 10" flex, (4) 10x10 air devices, (4) ceiling boxes, and installation: $3,500. Check these materials out at home depot: $500. So, these guys are pocketing $3,000 for half a day's labor. I'm still in shock.
Thought maybe they were more a mom&pop shop, but obviously riding the wave of being busy and thus charging outlandishly. Did not earn my trust, my confidence and ultimately my business.
Needless to say, waste of time & my search for honest service continues…

AC went out on the hottest day of the year. They squeezed me in the next day, showed up quickly, made quick work of it and charged a reasonable price for the work. I’ll use them from now on and highly recommend

Brett Nichols and his crew did a great job installing two AC/Furnace and water heaters for my home. Best price, very informative, installation crew was quick, thorough and completely cleaned up afterwards. Excellent work , very professional and friendly. I am happy to recommend them.

The service person called to let me know he was on his way. He was prompt and friendly. I also asked if Nichols did hot water heaters and they do. He spoke with his office and was able to give me an estimated cost to replace our water heater and it was comparable to the quotes. Since they did such a great job with installing our new HVAC system, I am going to call them to replace our hot water heater.

My summer AC checkup is completed. As always the job wss well done. Dawson answered my questions about the drip system and made some corrections to the insulation on the doors ro the unit. Nichols Air Conditioning Specialists is the BEST!!!

I've used Nichols for years on both my home and four rental properties we have owned. The service is outstanding. I contact them and they are there quickly. They are honest in their dealings and never try to upsell. Phil and his team are professionals and reliable!

The Nichols technician showed up on time and got right to work. All 3 units were tested and all filters were replaced or cleaned. The service was great and the cost was very fair to me as a consumer.

Brett and all at Nichols Air are extremely knowledgeable, courteous, and listen to your needs and desires regarding your AC/heating system. They installed 2 new systems at my house last November and Brett contacted me about rechecking his systems to make sure everything is looking perfect. Not only great service, but proves they care about their customers. I have referred Nichols air to others and will continue to do so.

I have used Nichols for years. They replaced the old split system on my 90 yr old historic house. Of course nothing fit Paul measured planned the new system and his employees put it in. All personnel are friendly polite and professional and do exceptional work. Due to the scope of the job l felt I needed other bids. What a joke and total waste of time that was!!! Just call Nichols and you will always get great results!

Wonderful experience. Professional and polite. Fast and efficient, too. New AC/ heat pump system installed. Similar to ductless with a central air handler using our existing ductwork. We have a 12 year warranty because they are a Mitsubishi Diamond Contractor. Today is the first day, but so far, we are thrilled.

They have cared for my heating and air conditioning in My Home for as long as I can remember. And I have lived in My Home for 40 years. So if I keep calling them back. After all that time, you gotta know, they must be awesome. Not only in their workmanship, but the quality of their workmanship. When something goes wrong, they were there within two hours. Always quality quotes compared to others.

Paul from Nichols came out in March 2021 to service our AC unit and told us it was leaking freon(who knows if this was true or not) and suggested that it probably wouldn't make it through the summer. So, after a couple other estimates, we decided to have them install the same size unit but different kind: American Standard.

Everything went fine with the install. A few days later, we noticed the unit would not cool the house below 78. It would run and run.

Fast forward after 6 visits to try to correct the problem and install a new thermostat, it will not go below 74. While running, the temp on the thermostat fluctuates up and down a few degrees, but never gets to desired temp.

We were assured by Phil Nichols that he would have the whole unit replaced, maybe even install a better one.

Aside from basically calling my wife a liar with his "reservations" about what she is explaining to him, we have not heard a word from him. It's been two weeks.

After paying around $7000 for a 3.5 ton AC unit installed, we feel they don't really seem to care.

Disappointed.
