We had an emergency and Tiffany and Vanessa helped us out super quickly. They were able to send out Jorge the same day. He was quick, friendly, and efficient. Huge thanks to the Alps team!

I called Alps for an estimate on a new furnace due to an issue with my existing furnace and a $2100 repair estimate from another company. I ordered the parts I needed and repaired it myself for $150 so no need for a new furnace. However, the tech that came from Alps was able to identify the cause for the failure relating to the vent stack. When it’s is time for a new furnace, Alps will be my first call (though it would be easier to just move out of California where heating units are not so regulated).

Continued great customer service for 10+ years! A friend referred them many years ago and we’ve called on Alps for our AC and heating needs. They also sold us our HVAC system which started our long-standing relationship. We have confidently recommended Alps to friends and family and our neighbors.

Our 30+ year old A/C gave out. I called Alps Air Conditioning & Heating and Joey came out to give us a free estimate within an hour. He was extremely knowledgeable on the best A/C replacement options for our home. No high pressure sales talk just good information to help us make smart decision. I highly recommend Alps Air Conditioning and Heating.

We just had our semi annual checkup and service of our HVAC system with Alps. The technician was very professional, and respectful of our property. It’s always a pleasure to do business with Alps.

I had the most Incredibly bad experience with the company and the technician that they sent out. Where do I begin? It's a very difficult and painful story, but basically this company is an over-priced scam. I called them to service a 10-year old Lennox AC/Heater system, because it was giving an E223 error (low-pressure switch issue). However, between the time that I called them and the time of the appointment, the Lennox thermostat went into it's famous "white screen" mode. So I called them and asked that they NOT come, since they would not be able to operate the system, without the thermostat. However, the person that answered the phone said she would "check with the technician" and get back to me, which she did while I waited. She came back with the answer that "He can work with the system without the thermostat and can still come." Okay great--so far so good. However, when the technician shows up, I ask him how he can operate the system without a thermostat and he says-"I can't." Wait...what? Then why did the person in your office tell me that you could? And then he says, "She didn't." More...what? So I ask him how much a new thermostat is going to cost. And he says, "We will get to that", and then proceeds to begin cleaning up a condensation drain issue. Starting to get weird right there, but okay. He continues to work on the system, telling me "I should have done this the last time I was here, as it should have been done then, so there won't be a charge today", but then subsequently telling me that "You need to hire a plumber to snake this out, as I can't get it cleared." Then he borrows a rooter from me to help get it cleared, finally gets it cleared, and all that is good. Then the fun starts. He looks at his phone and tells me that it's going to be $1,300.00 to replace the thermostat--yeah, you heard that right. Naturally, I tell him that's way too much, and that I can't afford it. He then tells me that there is a "trip charge" for his visit, which will be $119.25. Incredible. Not only did I call to ask him to not come, but he clearly said that there wouldn't be a charge, as "...it should have been done the last time I was here." He then says that, "I didn't say that--I said I needed to call the office." Not what he said. So then I ask him if he can just replace the thermostat with a standard 5-wire type, and (you ready?) he said that it will cost $850.00, to run a new cable, which has 5-wires. I point out that the cable is only about 3-feet long, and he says "that's what my office says to charge." Of course I refuse this service as well. He leaves and I inspect the existing wire, and...you guessed it. It IS ALREADY a 5-wire run! I go to Home Depot and buy a $70.00 smart WiFi enabled thermostat, install it and it works perfectly fine. So then I called in another company "ABC", and they come out the same day, and fix the heating issue for nothing, and don't charge a trip charge either. AND...here's the best part--their technician showed me that the system CAN be run WITHOUT a thermostat! And guess what? the only thing wrong was a seed from the tree outside that had fallen down the header pipe into the blower motor fan. That's it! I hope that my story gets out to as many people as possible. Take heed. Alps is scamming poor elderly people such as myself--fleecing them out of their meager retirement income. Stay away!

I had the easiest experience with ALPS setting up an appointment to look at our home 28 year old furnace and AC. Bernice, was terrific, and Allen their Estimator / Technician was very informative showing all the possible features of the current systems.

We have used Alps twice. Both times their tech, Alfredo, was fantastic. He explained problem, replaced parts, and very professional. Our havc system runs great and quieter than before. We highly recommend Alps.

I had real great professional service experience with Mr. Allen Puig. He was very prompt, he inspected my AC/FAU and was very efficient and thorough. He had it workingin 3 minutes, gave me choices and explainedthoroughlywhy my 40+ years old FAU should think of replacing and may not wantto invest more $$$ since it is quite old. He showed to me the damaged areas from the heat and may not be safe to operate for much longer. He gave me several prices, options, pros of replacement. The safety of my family and myself is paramount. I decided to take his adviceto replacethe unit very soon. I had 2 other AC/FAU Companies inspected my unit and lied and said my unit doesn't work, I need to replace different parts etc, so unprofessional and just want to charge so much for labor and parts I don't even need!
Thanks again Allen at Alps Heating & AC for your honesty, professionalism, caring and being so nice, polite understanding and taking your time to explain and answer my questions.
You have my business, my family and my Clients as well. Highly recommend!!!

Newly (6/5/23) edited to add pictures to year old original review. Although now 6 yrs after install, and currently trying to diagnose intermittent furnace/ thermostat issue with Alps, I'm still happy with my bi-annual services and my new tech Alfredo. My new technical issue has nothing to do with the installation or the great service I've received over the years. Original review below.......

About 5 years ago, I had my whole HVAC system replaced (including ducts) by Alps. Since then I have been on a bi-annual service contract and have been more than satisfied with the service I've received. Luckily there have been no real issues once everything was dialed in.

Joey was my first point of contact in purchasing my system and I can't speak highly enough of him. My service tech for the last couple of years has been Alex, and the same goes for him. I actually request him every time I make a service appointment. Give Alps a try, I doubt that you'll be disappointed.

I contacted Alps for air-conditioning problems. They were through and very knowledgeable— their 35 years in service showed! I ended up needing a new unit, they advised me at each step in the process and discussed options throughly. They made me feel confident in the decisions I made. My new unit will be installed in a few days! I’m excited!

We’ve had Tommy and his crew from Alpha & Omega HVAC & Appliance Repair at our home several times, and every experience has been excellent. They arrive quickly—often same day—diagnose the issue fast, and clearly explain multiple repair options so we know exactly what to expect.

Tommy and his team are professional, courteous, and always leave the area cleaner than they found it. Whether I’m dealing with Tommy directly or speaking with the scheduling team, we’ve always been treated with respect and genuine care.

They’ve become our trusted “go-to” for any appliance issues. Highly recommend Alpha & Omega for their reliability, expertise, and outstanding service.

Servicing our appliances is usually such a chore. This was not. He was very nice to talk to, did his thing and answered all our questions. Even emailed us lots of pictures to use when we dealt with our plumber for some repairs. I’d highly recommend Alps and I’ll use them again when we go to replace our equipment.

Everyone was so helpful from the phone call. I think her name is Bernice toThe technician Alanso
They came out on time and took care of my concerns and I’m so happy I now have a working new thermostat as I’m a senior and I haven’t had any heat since Friday. This is a family owned business and they really take pride in their employees and their workmanship I highly recommend them. They installed my entire havoc unit and air-conditioning unit back in 2017 and they’ve been perfect ever since wonderful company to do business with.

Have been using this company from instillation in 2011. They are always personal from requesting service on the phone to the people who come to your house to work on your heater or air conditioner. The service staff are very knowledgeable, punctual and friendly. Their prices are comparable to the expected rate. I highly recommend Alps for all your heater and air conditioners needs!

Super pleased with the maintenance that was performed on our furnace. The team was easy to work with, clear, and punctual. After the inspection, I was provided with pictures and clear communication as to what work could be done on the unit to maintain top performance. The Alps service provider was extremely professional.

Our technician ,Alonso was very knowledgeable and friendly. We had installed a new HVAC from Alps last spring. Our appointment today was for a routine heating check up. He preformed the necessary work and answered all of our questions. We didn't have to pay for the service because it was part of the original contract.

I would highly recommend using Alps.
Here’s my experience. My heater died during our cold spell last week. Alps squeezed me in to the repair schedule that day. Tech was most helpful. Gave me an estimate to fix. No pressure. I decided I’d like to look at a new HVAC system and he set me up for an estimate later the same day. He even went all the way to main office and back (15-20 miles each way) to bring me a space heater. Said, “Keep it until you decide what you want to do.”
Alps estimator came out at the end of his work day. Gave me estimate for new Lennox HVAC system. Again, no pressure. I decided to put in new HVAC system and with Costco membership I saved 10% in form of Costco gift card.
System installed 2 days later in 6 hours. Crew was neat, clean and efficient.
I highly recommend using Alps. Great work, great people and they go the extra mile.

Did the job, didn't give me any details on what he found. It only took about 15 minutes, but still charged me the maximum.

As a Ph.D. Engineer, I know HVAC systems. These days so much depends on the quality of the installation. The NATE certified tech, Danny, was terrific. I am sure I will be trouble-free for years. Corey and Tom Jr were a pleasure to do business with.
