We're working through a thorny bathroom faucet issue - old faucet, hard to identify ( but we have) and replacement parts take a while to get. Bellows is helping us get this right and I really appreciate it!
They've done a lot of top notch work for us in the last six months, almost every plumbing unit in our old house has needed attention.

I have had an odd AC problem for years now, but whenever it happens they are always quick to answer. For my most recent issue they came out made sure everything was working as it should, when the problem didn't go away they were back out the next day to try a new solution, and if this one doesn't work they will come out again. They are always upfront and honest with me, and have admitted my issue is a real headvscratcher but they are determined to get to the bottom of it. Sure there are times they are booked solid but they make sure to tell you that up front. They always look for the correct fix and not the easy fix. We have had a few issues that could have cost us thousands and they have been able to diagnose the issue at hand for much less. We have been a part of their preventative maintenance plan for years and it has come in hands so often. Just the comfort of knowing you plumbing and HVAC is in good working order can mean the world as seasons change. They are always the first company I call, and though they may not always be the least expensive I know that if anything goes wrong they stand behind it and come out and fix it again at little to no cost.

Tech did a great job. Back office worked very hard to arrange visit around my schedule. I’m recommending to my grandkids to be electricians, especially in California! Electrical service in a home is critical, even more so when it is a vacation home. BUT, be prepared for a budget busting bill. The job involved replacing a duplex electrical plug in the bathroom. I provided the plug, so it only cost me $270!

I called Bellows--specifically Sophia on a Sunday about my heat pump not working--it was a cold morning. There were no appointments until Wed. But the technician Jonathan became available on Sunday and Sophia called me back and sent him out. GREAT SERVICE. Jonathan was able to partly diagnose an electrical issue too.

I bought some Delta faucets. The Delta website recommended some installers in the San Jose area. I called and left a message at Bellows. The owner called me right back and we got the installation scheduled shortly to be after the faucets would arrive. He gave me a rough estimate of $200-300 per faucet. The installer arrived on the scheduled day and time, BUT he only had time to inspect the sinks and finalize the installation quote, which was higher than expected at $390 per faucet. I accepted because the kitchen faucet HAD to be replaced ASAP. The installation happened a few days later and went perfectly. No leaks, no issues, and clean up was excellent. I'd use them again for sure, but I'd confirm ahead of time on quote vs installation visit, so I wouldn't have to block out two days.

They came out super quick to get me a quote when my gas water heater died on me. I was hoping to swap to a heat pump water heater, which meant I needed a new subpanel because my breaker panel didn’t have room for another breaker. The plumber was super friendly, found a heat pump water heater that met my needs, but the quote only included running a 240v line from the panel to the water heater. It didn’t include the subpanel even after I mentioned that I needed it multiple times. I was told I’d have to have an electrician come out and quote that for me.

The quote for a heat pump water heater, 240v line, and condensate pump was $12500 not including the subpanel ($8800 for just the water heater and labor). I actually felt pretty confident they’d do a good job, but the price was really high for the work that was being done. I ended up pulling permits myself, doing the electrical work myself, and hiring a plumber to do the water heater. The labor and materials for the water heater with another company (and a comparable water heater to what was quoted) came to $3200 - less than half of what was quoted by Bellows. Including permits and materials for the DIY’ed portion, it was less than $5000 all in.

Like I said, everyone was friendly, they were very prompt, and I don’t doubt they’d do a good job on the work, but the quoted prices have pretty hefty mark-ups.

Bellows were very responsive, good phone support to arrange the on-site work, and the technician arrived inside the time window on both occasions. Work was done well and promptly, repaired my water heater with a new gas control valve, would recommend for the professional service.

Scheduled an appointment for our HVAC system to get diagnosed. I have a store in the valley fair mall. I asked when I first scheduled the appointment if they would work on commercial buildings. They said yes. Then the time of the appointment I called them to see where they were at. I was then told that the tech was out there and they do not work on commercial buildings.
Not only did they not do anything to fix it but I had to call them, get bounced around to people to find out the tech had come. No one called me to tell me so I waited an hour for nothing.

Edit: I will say they did call back to apologize for their mistake. I appreciate the ownership and everyone I did talk to were nice. I wish I could’ve worked with them. Unfortunately cannot bring up the rating because there was no resolution for it. Ultimately we suffer since my staff and customers have to go through another week with the a/c not totally up to par. Would’ve been nice to work with them as their customer service team were very responsive and kind but with the tech not even trying to talk to me and the miscommunication within ruined it. I can easily see them improving after this though.

I chose this company because they were affiliated with Costco membership Thinking they would be fully vetted as a reputable company. Once initiated through the Costco website, we were contacted quickly by Bellow’s. Our initial request was to get air-conditioning installed in our house. We already had central heating utilizing natural gas. We were given a quote for both installing an air conditioning system while using natural gas heating. And also a heat pump air handler unit to transfer from gas to electric heating. This option was significantly more expensive, but we saw on the bid that it was eligible for a $2000 federal tax credit, and also a $2500 city utility rebate. Thus being about $1500 more for this option, which we saw as a small cost to be more energy efficient. I as a customer expected the professionals to be able to size our equipment to meet all the requirements for said rebate. After all work was completed and inspected by the city we finally received a response that our rebate was denied because Bellow’s undersized the unit. They took no responsibility And offered nothing to me for their mistake. The total cost of the unit was $6000 more to go with the air handler heat pump. This company has no integrity for their customer service, and takes no responsibility for overcharging their customer.

Thank you, Bellows for saving my marriage! :) Just finished a home remodel and foolishly decided to skimp on the water heater, only to find out on our first evening there that the orange water from the old water heater was NOT going to flush out. It remained as orange as ever, and I desperately needed to replace the entire water heater asap.

After a call to the friendly staff at Bellows, and with some assistance and escalation from their manager, they somehow pulled everything together within a matter of hours and installed our new water heater the very next morning! All of this during the storm of the century to boot.

They did an amazing job from start to finish, including a few follow ups to fine tune everything to our liking, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. I am pleased to confirm our water is indeed hot, crystal clear, and my marriage is soundly intact - with only the crew at Bellows to thank. If you’re looking for a responsive, trustworthy, and fair company to work with across multiple trades - you simply can’t go wrong with Bellows.
