J was asked to contact Tuff Shed after leaving a bad review, I did & still no contact from the business. Still would not recommend. If I could leave zero stars I would. I know it's been awhile since this was built, but the neighbor around the corner had their garage built about 6 months after ours & theirs still looks good. Bad customer service

I called Tuff Shed's location in Clovis, and spoke with Scott. He was very friendly and professional. I just needed a small part to my shed, and he looked for it while I was on the phone. He said he would put it aside for me, as it was the last one he had. He told me the hours he would be open that day.

As it turned out, I got busy, so my wife went to get the part. Scott treated her respectfully, and handled the transaction quickly. We couldn't have asked for better service, and my wife especially liked the way Scott treated her.

After speaking with Brandon we scheduled a date for the window cleaning. I received an email and text confirming the date and time. Nobody showed up on the date as planned, and of course, he did not answer several texts or calls that day, as I just wanted to know if anyone was planning on coming or not. I certainly do not mind a reschedule, but to not answer texts and phone calls after not showing up is very frustrating. I waited a few days before posting this, as to hoping I would hear something.

We bought a wood burning stove from This store many years ago. It has been very difficult to get them to come and clean and service the stove over the years. We needed it serviced because it wasn't drafting correctly. On the day the service man was supposed to be here we were told he was sick and the store was short staffed so no service. The earliest another repairman could come out was 2 weeks later. My husband explained this was a primary heat source. It was suggested my husband ,who is 66 , climb up our 2 story house and see if the chimney was block. 2 weeks later on the day of the second appointment again we received a call saying the repair person was sick and there would be no service. Needless to say this a company I would not recommend to any one.

Garrett and his crew are great to work with. They did three full bathrooms down to the studs, and our laundry room. Floors, shower wall, niches, backsplashes, granite counters, stand alone tub, rain shower, and he works well / has painter, electrical, plumbing, and other connections. The few cosmetic issues he jumped in a made it right. Highly recommended!

Reginald and team showed up earlier than scheduled and were very thorough during the entire process. They made sure to lay protective blankets down, covering the flooring and furniture that may be impacted during the chimney cleaning process. While neither actually needed to be guarded, they took the extra step to make sure it was kept clean. From start to finish they were in and out under 30 minutes and did a great job. Reginald responded within 10 minutes of my Yelp inquiry with a fair and reasonable estimate and I highly recommend him for any chimney cleaning.

The guys showed up fast within an hour of calling. They used drop cloth to protect my furniture. They wore masked. They gave me a digital report saying what was wrong with my chimney. I would use them again and will be recommending them to all my friends and family.

Peter was referred to me by a friend of mine and I'm thankful he did. I wanted to get some renovations done around my house. I reached out to a handful of other contractors and was told they couldn't even look at my project for at least six months. The few that were available were not professional, showed up late, multiple reschedules, and very expensive. Peter was prompt, professional, and fair when it came to pricing. He is meticulous with his work and I highly recommend working with Peter.

We purchased a new gas fireplace insert in May from Ponderosa Hearth and Home. The new owners of the business were very attentive and provided a quick response to our quote request. After considering other businesses we settled on them because we liked their plain-spoken style. They didnt try to "sell" us on the most expensive unit they had. In fact, they just gave us all the info and answered our questions.

In the end we purchased one of their upper end units because it had the features we wanted. One of the things that helped us make the decision to buy one was the current rebate program from Valley Air Quality program. It provides up to a $3000 rebate for the unit and installation. It allowed us to choose the higher cost unit.

Because of Covid and the warmer weather we didnt have the unit installed until June and then didnt use it until early November because it wasnt cold enough to turn it on. Robert and Mary told us there would be a break-in period and we were glad they mentioned it as it is quite a smell! It is the paint and other things getting burnt in. But, we just taped plastic drop cloths across our living room, opened the windows and let it blast! Took about 10 hours to do.

But, the result is a wonderful unit that looks great, works fantastically, and heats our living room and the whole house in about an hour.
We are so happy we purchased the unit as our living room had always been cold, even when the house heater was on. No longer!

I wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone in the market for an insert.
But, do it asap as I am not sure how much longer the rebates will be available.

Brent is the best in the business, hands down! He's honest, knowledgeable and cares about the quality of work. He's the only guy we trust with glass work. We refer Major League Glass as much as we can!

Brandon showed up and got busy and he was even early which was great. He did all the solar panels and windows within 1 1/2 hours. He was friendly and very polite. Great company signed up for the every 6 month contract to come out and do the solar. Very reasonable prices- don't think you can beat them.

Christian is perhaps one of the most honest tradesmen I've met. He came out to the house a week after I called him to fix a damper. He stuck his whole body inside our wood fireplace insert and said he just wouldn't feel right about charging me for something he could tell me how to do myself. He then spent the next half hour giving me step by step instructions on the tools, materials, and method to fix the damper chain. I tried -- like begged -- to pay him for his time, but he wouldn't have it. Honestly, I'm tempted to burn through a few cords of wood this winter just so I can get him back out here to clean the thing and pay him for his excellent service.

Christian is legit! Got me on schedule right away and was on time, actually early. Works hard and explains everything to you. Honest guy that cares about your safety and the safety of the neighborhood.

We could not be happier with the results of our kitchen. We had them demo the old tile floors and install the wood plank tile and also our new quartz tops. The floor was put in meticulously and very level which I am a stickler about. The countertops turned out better than I imagined framing out the window perfectly and installing the quartz backsplash without damaging anything in the house. Mr. Sanchez is also very agreeable and easy to work with. We will be using him on our future remodel projects and have recommended him to others.

Pretty sleazy outfit.

Make sure you carefully read all ten thousand pages they make you sign, and tell escrow not to close until you give your OK. They misrepresented the home they were selling me, and when I noticed on closing day and raised an objection, they quickly closed escrow before I could hold things up.

Had no choice but to go with Hi-tech homes because mccaffrey has a contract with them. I've been extremely dissatisfied and disappointed. They do the minimal and the poorest quality work with the most expensive prices. Job is left a mess and unfinished. They use the cheapest quality parts and wire. $750 to have my speaker wires ran and they use wire far below and decent manufactures specs. I've been here for a couple months and still waiting for them to finish what they promised. The only negative drawback buying a home through mccaffrey is being forced to deal with hi tech.

These guys seem to know their business, but they don't work on a reliable schedule. I've asked them at least five times to schedule my home for a significant amount of home automation work, and I never hear back from them. Sure, they're busy... but their lack of integrity in scheduling is ridiculous.

CARELESS-UNPROFESSIONAL-LACK OF INTEGRITY
Hired the window wizard to clean my solar panels for a third and final time. Owner changed my appointment without informing me first, Brandon did show up the next day but with an attitude!

After Brandon "cleaned" the panels he made a statement that my solar panels had a defect in them. When I asked if he took anything pictures so I could show the solar company he got nervous, and said he was too busy and was running behind schedule. After a few minutes we both went up to the roof and sure enough the only issue was he didn't clean the panels correctly. He made a few more excuses before stating he would come back on Sunday to clean them correctly.

In good faith I paid him but he never came back nor did he give me a receipt as requested. I gave him a fair chance to correct the issue but he failed to do so.

It's clear the owner hustled me for $60 bucks but I'm not mad, I just hope that cash helps him buy some dignity for his next job.

Hopefully this review helps anybody thinking about hiring this amateur.
