Appliance Repair reviews in Concord, California

I'd give them one star if I could. first they show up after the window. despite the fact eight people were outside my house, the repairman went to the guest cottage and then left when no one answered. took two months for them to finally come out to fix my icemaker. then after working on it the repairman coerced my to sign the repair order telling me 'it will work when it gets cold.' It never worked. despite the invoice stating that there was a 30 day parts and labor warrantee they refused to schedule another visit until I contacted my home warranty company to get another repair order. rude, unresponsive they clearly don't care to get your business if you have a home warranty. BTW home warrantys are probably not a good idea, more trouble than they're worth.

Rudy the tech from Precision Services did a wonderful job fixing our refrigerator. He was very knowledgeable and knew exactly how to fix our refrigerator. I would definitely use their services again. Thank you Precision Services we appreciate your expertise and professionalism.

Precision Services was a third party service for my Sears Kenmore microwave that was under a service contract with Sears. I guess Sears couldn't service my microwave. Their tech made one trip to diagnose the problem, they ordered parts to be shipped to me then another tech came out to replace the parts. The techs were great and polite. It took one month from the time I called sears to the day my microwave was working again.

Under my Costco warranty, Precision was sent to fix the extended fan that's connected under my microwave. The technician showed up and was very nice. I could tell he was struggling to get the new part attached but when he finished it looked fine. When I tried pushing on it to have it extend forward, it didn't sound right; very loud/clunky. I mentioned it and he said the bearings were wearing in. When I questioned that, he said it was because of the parts that move and that was normal. He would not listen. After he left I noticed 2 of the 4 grease filters underneath were missing. I called right away and he said he didn't have them. I asked if I could get back the old ones he took away as they are washable. He said there were none. Really?! I had 4 of them on the previous part and had just looked at them that morning. He insisted there were none. He outright lied to me on the phone. The next day I noticed that if the fan is extended out and I open the microwave door, it hits the extended fan piece and nearly takes it off! I called the office and was told the manager was on vacation and would call me within a few days. It's been a week. I've called multiple times and it goes straight to VM. I texted the number on their VM twice and had no response. Be aware if a warranty company says they're sending Precision to make repairs. Request someone else!! Do not call them for repairs either!! Now I will be calling the warranty company and reporting this and hopefully they will send out someone else to repair the repair.

The ice maker on our office's Samsung refrigerator was consistently freezing over to the point where the door to the ice maker would not close. Precision Services knew of the service alert on this model. It's technician, Jason, ordered the part and came out several weeks later to install. Jason was professional and courtesy and very fast! So far so good! Thank you Jason for your service!!!

They were scheduled to come on a certain day in the morning to service 2 pieces of equipment. Late afternoon I called to find out where they were.
Warning! Even though I told them precisely where I live, and that I don’t live in town, they were surprised when they realized that I really don’t.
That’s when they told me I am outside their service area, after I had waited a week, and then most of the day that Sears Warranty said they would be there.
They never rescheduled. They never came!
Sears Warranty gave me a settlement to use to buy a new dryer. No one ever discussed the other piece I had wanted checked with this service order that had cost me $75.
Granted, they did have to come a long way to get to where I am, but that isn’t my fault. Not everyone lives where it’s convenient and we need service, too, and after I told them exactly where I was and the best way to get here, I actually expected them to come as scheduled. -
Our technician, Jason, was the best we have had to fix our refrigerator! We’ve had multiple companies service this refrigerator under warranty, and Jason at Precision was the most competent, professional, least intrusive to our daily lives, and by far the quickest to repair the problem! We would highly recommend him and this company.

Called Choice Home Warranty and they refer me to Precesion. Got schedule 5 days after for on site visit. On site was schedule for 8-12 window but showed up after 12:30. Repair tech fixed the issue with the dishwasher and it was outstanding. Professional and explain the cause of the problem. Very good job.

Zero stars. Used for warranty work through Lowe's warranty. Worst service ever. After over 40 days without a working washer and 3 visits, they decided it wasn't fixable. We ended up doing it ourselves, put in the part they claimed to have replaced and now it works.
This is our third bad experience with them. When other appliances needed to be seen, they made us wait over 2 weeks before even scheduling us, then couldn't/wouldn't fix the problems that were simple fixes we ended up doing ourselves.
Lowe's needs to contract with someone else. -
This company came out at time scheduled. They were
able to fix my washer immediately & ordered parts & came back to install them. The service was quality.
The service men were professional & courteous.
They maintained the COVID 19 guidelines.. I recommend & would definitely use them again for services needed. -
I had to wait several weeks for a part for the ice machine. The service person installed it and it was defective. I had to call The company back but you are NEVER able to speak to a live person. I tried to explain they there are now 2 issues but I could only text and the person with whom I was communicating didn’t listen or I understand the scope of the problem. I hate to wait another several weeks for a new part and the issue is still not fixed. I tried calling the company and they hand up in you and only respond with a text. I paid $4k for the refrigerator and $400 for the additional warranty and can’t get the company to fix the problem or speak to a live person. Stay away from this company.

The guys Rudy & Luis were great except they couldn't get the correct parts to complete our claim. The process of parts being delivered to the client's house is not good. We are forced to take pictures of parts that we have no idea what they are, just book an appointment. Even with the pictures when the Techs get here it was always something else missing. I would like to thank the Techs for their patience. We ended up buying a new microwave.

I was referred to Precision Services by LG after my refrigerator/freezer stopped functioning. Precision Services was prompt and communicative, and made arrangements for service as soon as the needed part became available. David came out and had the compressor replaced in a flash! He was friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Thank you for a good service experience!

Came out to repair my washer sent by a Home Warranty company. Was told parts will be on order, then 2 weeks later they said they ordered the parts. one week after that I asked the status and they said now the warranty service is looking for an alternative solution. I've been kept in the dark by both the warranty service and the contracted service "precision". Decided to cancel all together, and they would not provide any sort of refund on the initial $125 service cost. Please stay away from this company.

Very pleasant on the phone for scheduling appointments. Always updating and informing the customer when backorder items will be coming in. Service Technicians were very well trained, and are on time with the service appointments. Couldn't ask for a better company to work with for my refrigerator. Precision Services did a great job! Thank you!

The folks at Precision Services and their technicians are very professional and do a great job. Our technician Rudy Garcia came a 2-3 times to fix the our fridge issue and made sure he addresses the root cause. He spent 3 hours one time installing the left door our GE Cafe fridge. He took time and explained everything. He was not in a hurry give it was already 8:30 in the eve. They always respond to texts and follow up on a regular basis if things change or there is a delay in getting parts. I would highly recommend these guys for any repairs.

The absolute worst experience I’ve ever had with a company. If I could give negative stars I would.
Our new refrigerator arrived with a dent in the door so LG sent this company to fix it. I had to take FIVE days off work to be home for these repairs- two of those days were pointless because the provider canceled last minute. But that’s nothing compared to the next part of this story.
!!! The refrigerator door that was dented was scheduled to be replaced. While the technician was here working on it I could hear him huffing, puffing and making frustrated noises from the kitchen, I already knew this was going to be bad. But then when he’s finished he calls me into the kitchen to tell me the door is replaced but now the water lines are BROKEN, the touch screen panel is BROKEN, the ice maker is BROKEN, and there’s a NEW dent on the freezer door. He did all of this damage while “fixing” the original (small😭) issue. Now we have all of that damage and water is leaking out constantly. It’s been months of dealing with these repairs and then the company reaches out to say the parts they ordered to fix the mess they caused are the wrong parts. So they cancel again.
Now I’m dealing directly with LG and that’s been a mess too. What a disaster -
Precision Services was contracted by Frigidaire to replace my recalled ice maker. The technician was polite and completed the work telling me I should have ice by the next day. Six day's later there is no ice, only a puddle of water under the refrigerator. I called Precision Services and asked for the technician to return to ensure the installation was correct, but a dismissive receptionist told me to call Frigidaire to have them tell Precision Services to return. I told the receptionist I wanted to make sure the installation was done correctly since there was water on the floor. She told me that they had closed out the service request and to call Frigidaire, then she abruptly hung up on me. What a chilling response!

They were a complete disaster. Both them and Consumer Priority Services, the warranty company who referred them to me after they referred me to a repair company that doesn’t service Maytag - for my MAYTAG repair! Not only was I unable to reach anyone most attempts, except one woman who hung up on me repeatedly but they had almost zero availability and by the time they finally got around to scheduling, I’d contacted Sears Home Services in desperation. They did troubleshooting and then ordered parts, which I advised the Precision of, and these parts remain on back order, which I also advised them of….nonetheless they scheduled a service appointment anyway.
I had to call repeatedly to tell them over and over, it’s like they have no record keeping system there and just are flying by the seat of their pants or something:
Awful. They’ll waste your time and energy trying to have simple clear communication. The technician was actually a refreshing surprise and was very good, understood the situation and apologized for the back office incompetence, but there was nothing he could do about them, as he’s out in the field, not in the main offices where the shitshow is occurring. -
They repaired my dishwasher as part of a warranty/product protection plan through Home Depot. There was definitely a disconnect between the protection plan and this company (they didn’t forward pictures or descriptions to the repair company), which meant there might have been an extra visit compared to otherwise but scheduling was easy, technicians were friendly, on time, and worked quickly!

My Warranty Insurance gave me Precision Services to fix my washer/dryer combo unit. Precision Services scheduled a home visit with a 4 hour window which the repairman will give me a call 30 minutes prior to the appointment. I didn't get a call and nobody showed up. This company wasted half of my day waiting for nothing. I will call my Warranty Insurance Co. to disbarred Precision Services from their list. Terrible company to deal with and should be avoided at all cost. I shouldn't even give them a star.
