Excellent
early, friendly and efficient as usual. Always a pleasure. -
Our Service Technition was great - was informative and helpful. Based on what needed to be repaired and cost of repairs we elected to purchase a new refrigerator.
-
Excellent service. Efficient, well spoken, patient. Item under warranty. We erred as we were given incorrect number to call.

our dryer service was terrible!!!
wasted 3 full work days!
• the first day he never showed up and we waited all day for him.
• second day he showed up hours late and didn’t have the parts to fix the dryer. why did he show up with no parts ?
the parts were then sent to my house in 3 separate packages.
• today our appointment window was 8-12 he just got to our house at 2:40. he called at 11:30 saying he was on the way. from where he was coming from it only takes 40 min to get to my house. what was he doing for 3 hours?
There is no human to talk to.
It took over a month to fix our dryer. -
My tech (Keith) was very professional and personable. He explained in detail what the problem was and how he repaired my machine.

My tech Alvin was great. Cannot say the same thing for sears automated systems. Trying to communicate with sears is incredibly frustrating. They don't even know where their own parts are. Pushed my repair date out three times saying my parts would not arrive in time, while they had already been delivered to my home. They need a better system for communication.

Great communication prior to visit. Not sure the technician really diagnosed the issue with our dishwasher correctly. going to try another service.

Service techs we’re professionals and friendly. Diagnosos was thorough. Week of delay completing job due to delivery problem with part

Desmond was fantastic—friendly, kind, and incredibly professional. He took the time to walk us through options and provide helpful recommendations. You can tell he’s been doing this a long time and takes real pride in his work. Super knowledgeable and easy to connect with. We really appreciated the experience from start to finish!

I needed an HVAC drain to be cleared. The technician changed the drain pipe but under the unit itself didn’t clear the debris and just took a hanger to clear the drain from the bottom of the AC to the drain. I still have the leak (but improved). He declined to come back to clear the bottom of the HVAC unit saying that it was a commercial AC when it is in my small 1 bedroom unit. I had to insist on him changing the drain pipe and wish I would have insisted on clearing out the bottom of the unit. Cancelled a few times too.

This company was hired through American Home Shield. It took nearly one month for repair of an LG refrigerator. The 1st repairman ordered some parts, went out to install. He had to order more parts. I found out all the parts were being sent to the tenants who live there. The last part needed for repair was delayed because the address was incomplete. The repairman rescheduled. A different repairman was assigned to go out to the home when all parts had arrived. He called me at 4 pm., appointment was between 1-5. He had to reschedule because this is a 3-hour job, I said tomorrow. he put through a reschedule date for a week out. I don't believe these men are not using their real names. The tenants had to take time off work for each no show or reschedule. Trying to find a person to talk to at Sears was difficult. I had to reschedule myself electronically on their website for the next day. I talked to a rep at American Home Shield who intervened for me. The repairman, who came out, repaired the refrigerator in less than 3 hours and is working now.

Professional, kind, proficient, and easy to understand. Despite the stress of not having an operating washing machine, we felt we were in good hands with the technician. To our delight, he had the part (a pump) in his van. So, in about an hour we went from not knowing if our washer could be fixed, to being fully functional again. And, at a reasonable price; particularly in light of the price of a replacement washing machine. We highly recommend this service provider.

Sears Appliance Repair has been a nightmare. They canceled my appointment twice and today they kept changing my time every hour from 1-5 and it's after 6pm thanksgivng eve and no one is still here. No respect for Customers time and there is no real customr service, you deal with AI and just automated responses. Completely unreliable. AVOID.

Conrad was the best. He explained everything as he went was extremely thorough and gave me some good suggestions as to how to avoid the appliance problem in the future. Nothing but good things to say about Conrad. I'd give him a 10 out of five if I could.

Repairs took 3 trips and in the end failed. Replacement parts were for a different model and cursory testing was insufficient. Specifically, door open sensor does not work so, for example, microwave runs with the door open! Asked for a return visit and demonstrated problem. Waiting to hear resolution.
UPDATE: no response to my emails -
Knowledgeable and experienced repairmen- there were 2 of them, both courteous and friendly and explained the problem and how to maintain the machine. And I appreciate they came during the early part of the time frame given me. Now I can care for errands. Thank you so much!!!

They came to diagnose a problem with our washing machine, then demanded up-front payment for a follow-up service, and then never showed up for the repair appointment. No updates. No apologies. We just didn't hear anything from them.
And when you do call to complain or ask a question, there is no one to talk to. Their customer service is 100% AI-only. Look at the canned AI response to this review, telling me to call the number with the unhelpful AI that I've already talked to and was complaining about in the review. That's the real issue. There is no human being to speak with if you have a problem.
Do not give them any of your money. I wish I could give zero stars. -
Leroy was fantastic! He diagnosed our faulty washing machine pump and clearly presented the repair options. We decided to purchase a new set since the current ones are 13+ years old but the service fee was very reasonable. Leroy is a great communicator, very courtesy, tidy and efficient. Highly recommend Sears Appliance Repair, and Leroy specifically ,for your home appliance needs.

Don’t use this company at all costs. They’re absolute trash. I only used them, because my home warranty company assigned them to me - American Home Shield. There’s no way to speak to a live person. It’s all AI. They blew me off for 3 appointments. They finally showed up for an appointment, ordered the dryer part needed. Shipped it to my house. Booked the appointment for me to install the part, then again didn’t show. So crazy that a business is this unprofessional. Now I’m

Sears maintenance - is predatory at worse and incompetent at best. They have taken $600 of our money for a maint agreeement and yet refuse to replace a faulty fridge. They just keep sending more techs out, over and over, to replace random parts on a fridge that sweats and produces unhealthy and hazardous black mould. It is infuriating, and robbery. We are considering filing suit.
However, I will note that Alvin was great - he is a professional and kind human being, and tolerated our frustration well. -
Leroy was fantastic. As soon as we described the issue with our oven, he immediately diagnosed the problem—it was a faulty ignitor. He clearly explained the solution and replaced the ignitor quickly and professionally. We’re thrilled to have our oven working again and really appreciated his expertise and efficiency.
