I can't say enough to express my gratitude for this company. They were quick to respond, compassionate, fair, and honest. He isolated the problem and was able to repair my AC within 30-45 minutes. El Cajon is so fortunate to have them locally here. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!

Called them to repair our heater that totally stopped working during this freezing cold storm and was glad they were able to schedule us quickly. John was friendly and arrived on-time. He was able to immediately troubleshoot the failed part and they didn't try to upsell or gouge me on the repairs. Highly recommended and would use them in the future.

We called On Point Heating and Air during a heatwave in the middle of July when we discovered our AC wasn’t working. John was able to work us in the same day to his already busy schedule. He evaluated and fixed our problem the same day. Very professional and reasonably priced. It’s nice to find a company that charges an honest price for an honest day’s work.
We highly recommend On Point and we will definitely be calling them for any future HVAC needs. -
John from On Point fixed my furnace with a simple fuse swap. He recommended a new furnace since the one I have is almost 30 years old, but he never tried to upsell me or pressure me into purchasing anything. His service was quick and he was very personable and professional. I would highly recommend his company and will be using him for future HVAC issues.

John (On Point Heating & Air Conditioning) did an outstanding job repairing my furnace in the attic. It was easy to make an appointment, he showed up early, was very professional, knowledgably, and was able to replace the inducer draft motor in short order. It was raining outside and he even wore booties when he came in the house. It was "icing on the cake" that he charged a very reasonable price and it was easy to pay. I highly recommend On Point Heating & Air Conditioning.

On Saturday 9/7our AC went out and it was 106 here in Santee. On Sunday 9/8 I started calling our AC company without receiving any technician . I called my friend who’s a property manager and she was able to recommend John Figueroa, With OnPoint heating and air. John responded immediately. He came out and fixed our air conditioning. He was a godsend. It was getting hotter by the hour and my husband has Parkinson’s and can’t tolerate the heat. I would highly recommend John Figueroa. I would give him 10 out of five stars.

Outstanding Service – Highly Recommend!
Two weeks ago, our furnace kicked on for the first time this season but was only blowing cold air. We reached out to several well-known companies in the area, as well as John at On Point Heating and Air, who came highly recommended by a friend. It was no contest!
From the very beginning, John stood out with his honesty and straightforward approach. We truly felt like we were getting the “family treatment” – no pushy up-selling or gimmicky sales tactics, just genuine care and professionalism. The work was done efficiently and with great attention to detail.
What really impressed us was the time John took to answer all of our questions. He made sure we understood everything about the repair and gave us confidence in the work being done.
We couldn’t be happier with the service from On Point Heating and Air. We’ll definitely recommend them to friends and family in need of HVAC services or installation. Thanks, John, for setting the standard for exceptional customer care! -
Great customer service and honest feedback on the issues with our A/C system! We spoke to a few other companies that didn’t bring awareness to other parts that are causing issues. Definitely giving you guys a ring back. Highly recommend!

John Figueroa is an amazing contractor to work with. His knowledge, integrity, and quality of work stand out with every job that I've worked with him on. I highly recommend John and his company for all of your hvac needs.

John Figueroa of On Point Heat & Air is absolutely fantastic: honest, knowledgeable, and does great work. He has installed a whole-house fan for me, as well as installed a heat pump that allows me to either use my still-good gas heater, or switch over to the heat pump for either heat or air-conditioning. And since he had toured some of the factories during the previous year, he was able to pass along some savings he had gotten from the company. He also comes in to do my annual system maintenance.

Legacy Home Energy did an awesome job at my shop, Caliber Auto Repair. They removed our old AC and heating units and put in new ones. The crew was super professional, kept everything clean, and got it all done smoothly. Best part—they actually came in under the quoted price, which was a huge surprise in a good way. Also, the owner Cody was awesome to work with—super helpful and made the whole process easy. Couldn’t be happier with the service. Definitely recommend them!

We have known Cody for several years. He installed our HVAC system and was instrumental with installment of our solar system. He has always been fair with us, and always makes sure he explains everything and makes sure we fully understand everything. No hard selling with him. He is our go to guy.

My air conditioning unit went out right as we were heading into the hot summer months here in Deer Creek Community located in Alpine, CA. Thankfully, Cody at Legacy Home Energy came through in a big way. He responded promptly arrived as scheduled, made a quick and accurate diagnosis and offered clear solutions with our next steps.
From start to finish, the team was dependable, knowledgeable, and incredibly easy to work with. Cody, in particular, went above and beyond--he made sure to take into account that we had a newborn in the house. He was mindful of the situation, worked efficiently to get everything resolved as quickly as possible, he even took the time to check in during the following weeks to make sure the new A/C unit was working well and baby was staying cool.
We felt completely comfortable and confident throughout the entire process. Legacy Home energy replaced entire air-condition/heating unit, new ducts throughout the house, and new thermostat (Echobee). We highly recommend Legacy Home Energy to anyone looking for reliable, honest, excellent service and great products! -

My HVAC wasn’t working properly and leaking water through my ceiling. I didn’t know what was broken or what to fix. Cody at Legacy Home Energy came over right away, and replaced some parts and had the system working good-as-new in under an hour. Great service! Highly recommend!

Cody is a stand-up guy; the kind of professional who can not only deliver sharp technical advice and solid repairs, but also the kind of customer service most folks think went extinct sometime around the flip phone era.
He recently helped one of my residential sellers diagnose an HVAC issue tied to an installation his previous company had done. Even though he no longer worked for them, he still felt connected to the responsibility of the product and the service.
So what does he do? He swings by in person, takes a look, and his insight ultimately gave our plumber exactly what was needed to solve the problem.
I shared with him this was “old-school customer service,” the sort that’s becoming an endangered species in what can feel like today’s find ’em, fleece ’em, forget ’em business world.
True tradesmen who know their craft and treat people with care absolutely deserve five-star reviews. Cody and Legacy Home Energy have officially been added to my Preferred Vendors List.
