Both were great to deal with and it was a nice experience to deal with an unpleasant problem.

My master bathroom sink wasn’t draining, I tried everything I decided to take the pipe under the sink to see what was stuck. NOTHING I went to the front bathroom water all over the floor and in the cabinet under the sink. I inherited the house last year after losing my dad. He was in charge of repairs, back in the day he did things himself. This was my first big girl issue. I didn’t know one plumber from the next, I googled plumbers near me Voyager Plumbing popped up with 4.9 stars. I sent a message about 0700 by 0800 someone called to schedule a guy to
Come out to check out what is going on. The guy (Arnold) got to the house about 1000. He cut a little hole in the wall to see what was going on. Cracked pipe in the wall. Arnold called the boss (Thomas) to bring the camera over. What I thought was a little issue was bigger than i could have imagined. My house is older all the pipes are cast iron and rusty inside. I told them about an issue that was taken care of in 2014, Thomas showed me what this fix looked like and what it should look like. Thomas said they can take care of that and all the plumbing or just the the original issues. He wasn’t pushy just letting me know what was going on which I appreciate. I told him you’re here just take care of all the pipes. All the employees who have been to the house have so polite and dealing with my dog barking at them each time they walked past her. Thomas calls me to let me know the progress. The guys who are at the house text me to let me know they are done for the day. Francisco has been at the house majority of the time. He’s so polite easy to talk and joke with. If I had a package delivered he was so kind to bring it in the house. Johnny and Josh have been there to help. Both are very kind, friendly and they are all hard workers, Thomas (owner) and Arnold (original guy who found the issue). I truly wish I could give them a million stars. They made this overwhelming situation not so overwhelming. I highly recommend Voyager Plumbing you will NOT be disappointed.

What a great team Thomas has working with him, Johnny and Anthony were extremely friendly as well as tireless workers. They did a very good job on my sewer pipes explaining everything as they went along. I would be happy to refer them to anyone in need of good diligent plumbers.

We had an emergency situation where the bathtub wouldn't drain. When we called for service on Friday morning they were booked for the day but put us on the list in case an availability came up. Within an hour a technician came and fixed the problem. From the initial call for help, to the follow up communications regarding the arrival time of service, to the technician himself, Pride Plumbing provided service above and beyond our expectations! Professional and helpful and all for a very affordable fee. Pride Plumbing will remain our preferred plumber!

Wow! Fantastic service. After being disappointed with other companies, Pride Plumbing showed up right on time, quickly diagnosed the problem and had it fixed in less than an hour. CJ was very knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. All of our plumbing needs will be handled by Pride Plumbing in the future.

Rob was the Pride plumber making our house call today. He was polite and professional. Rob showed us the issues involved and how he would remedy the problem. When finished, he left the working area clean and in perfect working order.

We had our shower drain clogged. We couldnt unclogged and they were able to do the repair very quickly. They kept me informed of what had clogged my drain and were very clean. They are scammer at first call they told me that they are going to charge 175 per hour and when they come in to my shop and done work in 30 minutes they charge me 350. Please watch out never recommend this company

We had two issues that we called Pride Plumbing to help. First, our tankless water heater was showing error codes and second was a backed up drain. Pride sent Don for the tankless water heater and Damon for the drain. Both were experienced journeyman who were professional, courteous and polite. Don inspected the water heater and made some recommendations but Pride did not charge for his time. When Damon arrived, he quickly and respectfully assessed the problem and within 30 minutes had the problem resolved. He knew exactly how to fix the issue expeditiously resulting in a big savings to us. Damon put down mats to protect the flooring and neither Don nor Damon tried to upsell us for unnecessary work.
The plumbers we had been using for a long time recently closed and we were very anxious about using new plumbers. We are very happy that we found Pride Plumbing. From our initial interaction with the receptionist who also was pleasant and professional and scheduled appointments for the same day that we called. Excellent service all around and we are so glad that we have found our new plumbers!!!! Thank you Damon, Don and Pride Plumbing!

This company is terrible, and very unprofessional! They don't care about "Customer Satisfaction" at all! You address your concern and they attack you with their lies and insulting words. Awful!!! DO NOT hire and trust these people. They charge very high for a terrible job! They see a plumbing issue (as they claim) and would not even bother addressing it to you right then and there. They wait until their terrible job is done, and have you call them again for more money. They think that people are stupid. We see just about anything online, and watch on YouTube. As if they are the only plumbing company that exists here in San Diego. They better think again because that's wrong!!! There's a lot of honest, and professional plumbers, supervisors, and general managers out there that truly care for less service fees. Shockingly, they're recommended by HOA for a "Mandatory Plumbing Inspection and Repairs," interesting... It makes you wonder why???

Staff are very professional and do a great job of explaining the pros, cons and costs of options for plumbing repairs. Started job on time and completed early. Did a great job.

Bait and switch

When I called, I was told that the estimate was free and actual work will be $150/hr and Technician will let me know before starting since I have to report to my landlord.

Technician came out, he just started working and in the middle of working, he said “oh by the way, I shouldn’t waste much of your time since I am charging you $175 an hour.”

I called regarding the price difference, the first person said $150 was the minimum quote, and is before tax and other fees.
I ask: you never told me that over the phone before, then she said $150 is for minor plumbing.
I ask: What do you consider minor plumbing?
Then she started saying we don’t charge half an hour, we rounded it up to 3 hours.
I said the plumber told me it was 2.5 hours, and he did the math in front of me, 175x2.5.
($150 x 3 still don’t add up to the price they charged me)

She transferred me to the manager.
The manager told me she spoke to the technician, and the technician said he did give me the quote before beginning his work and he was here for 3 hours…

It was two hour when plumber said the work was done.
The other half, he was here doing the math, charging my card over the phone which he couldn't see well, so it was taking so much longer.

They never emailed the invoice.

Basically, my word against their word.

The guys did a great job and it was a pleasure working with them.

A plumber stopped by for an hour and a half to inspect a water leak which resulted in my wall being opened up completely (days before this plumber came), but then proceeds to say that there is NO confirmed leak and only evidence of water moisture in the walls which a Mitigator already confirmed 2 days before (hence allowing my insurance company to proceed with paying for and opening the damaged wall). So I had different plumbing company (Bill Howe is amazing) come over and they confirmed the leak by recreating the problem, identified the root cause, fixed the problem and even had me purchase preventive tools to stop the water flooding immediately all under 45minutes. I happily thanked them and paid for their service.

But pride plumbing wanted to charge me $150 for information I already knew from the Mitigator days before, and for NOT fixing the problem. The plumber didn't even know how to turn on my washing machine. Whats worse is his management team called me to attempt to collect the money, but when I declined to pay for services that they did NOT perform, the manager asked me to tell him the problem I order to teach his plumber what to look for in the future. When I declined to disclose the issue the manager said I was lying and to put me on his "No service list" which is pretty disappointing when I am the one woth the flooded floors and have an open wall who was simply trying to get it fixed. Luckily Bill Howe Plumbing came to my rescue and they will forever have my service. They even do a free estimate of the issue and you have the option to choose to use their services or not. I have never experienced this unprofessionalism and a manager/owner call me a liar because I chose not to disclose how Bill Howe Plumbing service fixed my water leak. Hopefully this is a one off scenario but I won't ever use them again.

I just had Damon from Pride Plumbing fix a blockage that had caused serious headaches and serial leaks. It was a great experience! Damon was friendly and professional, arrived exactly when he said he would, and diagnosed and solved the problem expertly. This is the 6th time I've had Pride Plumbing help me out and every time they have been excellent and the prices reasonable.

Super grateful for Lyle and the staff at Pride Plumbing! We had a drain issue and they were so easy to coordinate with, quick to get out here and resolve the issue.
Lyle did a great job explaining what was going on and making sure we were all set before heading out. I highly recommend them if you find yourself in a plumbing bind!
