Service was on time and thorough. Online booking was smooth and easy. I checked another couple local plumbers and their first available was Monday so I’m happy I could get a Sunday appointment to clear a blocked kitchen drain and slow draining bathroom drains.

These guys got to my house within an hour of my call, my representative was professional, and friendly, explained a few things to me, gave me a bid on site, it was reasonable, and they snaked the drain tidied up and left. My experience with RotoRooter in downtown San Diego has been excellent! I am a repeat customer (property manager) and have been happy with the service on every occasion. The ability to schedule an appointment via the app is a plus, but more importantly the plumber arrives on-time and does the work correctly everytime.

I called with a backed up mainline. they sent Mark out to my home and he was on time, clean, and very knowledgeable took his time and was able to clear it no problem. left my house cleaner than it was before he got here. I would highly recommend this company!

My experience started with needing a clogged drain cleared quickly. Britney helped me with getting a service call within 30 minutes.

Mike showed up at my door as promised. He was very patient and polite when explaining what he would be doing.

We just had a main line back up that needed immediate attention. They had a guy here in less than two hours, he was so friendly, very professional, look you in the eye, solid handshake at introduction type. My kids were mesmerized by what he was doing and he was very nice to them the entire time! He explained everything to me thoroughly, offered to come back tomorrow with a line camera to make sure we don’t have issues in the future for free! I was really pleased with the service and our plumber! I would highly recommend.

I called because my bathtub drain was clogged, my husband tried to snake the drain but we didn't have any luck. I spoke to Heather on the phone she was very polite and informed me someone could be there within the hour. Adrian arrived really fast, he communicated well, he was polite and friendly, service did not take long. I appreciated the good quality of customer service both of them provided. Thank you!

Roto rooter was so friendly and easy to set up an appointment the same day that I called. The technician that showed up was friendly and professional - quickly diagnosing the problem and getting everything working again! Pricing was fair and quoted before the work began.

I called on a Tuesday morning for a clogged toilet. Within a few hours someone was at my house.
Dennis was able to find and fix the problem right away, and took the time to explain to me possible scenarios before he proceeded. He was very professional. Prices were fair. I highly recommend Roto Rooter. Very good experience.

I made an appointment for today for a clogged drain. I stayed home all day and no one ever showed up! I see on Google maps there are plenty of other plumbers in El Cajon. I am sure they would like my business.

One star is to much…
When do you actually call a plumber, in an emergency would be answer at least 90percent of the time. My commercial business had a major backup on the main line Saturday am, I called by 10, I choose Roto rooter as I looked up EMERGENCY PLUMBING SERVICE LA MESA, they came up second. I called them and made an appointment. They could not come until Sunday as they said they were very busy. We made an appointment for 11, I asked them to confirm they will actually come the next day as we have no restroom service and it’s important… the operator explained that of course they willl be there. Fast forward to Monday, they call at 11 to tell me they are going to be a little late now it will be one o’clock. I asked again, are you positive your coming, the lady kinda laughed and said I am not canceling I am just delaying as we are busy. (I had an appointment) so one o’clock comes and they call to bump me because they are busy… they will be there at 4….
They show up at 430, I speak to the guy on the phone. The line is 20’ long. He needs to pull the toilet. Tells me it’s going to be 980$…. It was late, he didn’t want to do the job so he gave me a high quote. I unfortunately have had this service completed three other times and it’s always been on the weekend (odds right) the most I have paid was 454$, I asked him how he could give me that price without even doing the work yet?? He said “that’s what the price is” after a short convo I told him to kick rocks!!
I would highly recommend to NOT USE THIS COMPANY EVER!! They are a complete scam!

Miguel was amazing! He was very friendly and super cautious with the new wood floors we installed. He put on booties and cleaner the area he worked in prior to leaving.

Pricing higher than originally bid (4X higher)and attempts to receive itemized deposit or photos of the completed job, as promised at the time of repair, have gone unanswered. Updated to 3 starts. After this review was posted they reached out a refunded us per the military discount and provided an itemized invoice.
