I moved into a nearly 20-year-old home in Valley Center, and clogged pipes, a leaky hot water heater, a malfunctioned garbage disposal, the plumbing list of problems went on and on. I called Top Notch Plumbing, and Gordon was everything I had hoped for in a local plumber I can count on. He knows what he's doing, he's direct and fair in his assessment of piping conditions, he knows how to fix the problem with quality parts, and he stands behind his work. I'd highly recommend him for several jobs well done.

This is the 4th time we've used Top-Notch Plumbing in Escondido and as always, the experience was fantastic. These guys are professional, courteous and true plumbing experts. They don't play games with pricing. Their estimate is what it is. No "ranges" like other companies. This is because they know their stuff and what the real costs will be. From past experience when we would compare prices their pricing was competitive. We don't even get quotes any more but go straight to Gordon. We love that he is a local (Escondido) business that's been around a long time.

The recent job was a water heater replacement that required all the code upgrades. Our water heater was old and we hadn't maintained it lately. No home depot or lowes water heater for us - we have a high end, professional grade water heater and everything is fantastic.

Prompt, courteous, professional and did a great job replacing my wall mounted toilet. Also gave me advice for painting behind it and sealing the floor. And he gave me a great price.

I had a couple of leaking bidets at home and a faucet that needed to be replaced because the hose attached to it could not be unscrewed. Gordon provided a flexible quote & was punctual, courteous and professional on the job. He completed the jobs in quick time & came back to redo the faucet promptly without fuss because the one he installed first was defective.

This is the 3rd different job we've had done by Top-Notch Plumbing. Each job has been done quickly, well and for a very fair price. The owner Gordon and his crew are very easy to work with and understand what needs to be done. Gordon has been very accomodating in being able to schedule our work quickly, even when there is no "emergency". You never WANT to have to call a plumber, but if you do, Top-Notch Plumbing is one you can trust to get the job done.

Top-notch plumbing responded within one hour to my request for repair of a water main line break. They were very professional and worked very efficiently for a very reasonable price. I would definitely hire them again for any plumbing needs.
UPDATE- I did hire them again to replace all of my water valves and hoses throughout my home. Another great job at a reasonable price.

You never want to HAVE to call a restoration company. But when you do, there is no one better than Top Notch. I woke up to a small drip beneath my main bathroom in December of 2021. I spoke with Robert, the owner of Top Notch, and they sent Eddie to my home within 30 minutes. He was thorough and careful protecting everything from my furniture and flooring to my Christmas tree and stockings before beginning the inspection. He talked me through the entire process and was able to repair the pinhole leak causing the drip on his first visit. Michael joined him and set up the machine to dry everything out including taping the cords and tubing down out of the way so my family wouldn't be inconvenienced while they were there. The guys were polite, professional, friendly and great at what they do.
We had another great experience with Gabe and Augustine who showed up to complete the drywall repair. You'd never know we had a leak at all.
I have since referred Top Notch to my parents and a friend who needed restoration services and they were just as pleased as I have been. I work in the building industry and have the opportunity to work with trades people daily. Top Notch is the BEST at what they do and I wouldn't hesitate to send anyone to them.

Gordon at Top-Notch is amazing and has fixed or installed a number of things at our home. They have brought pipes up to code and saved us from a serious leak! Always reliable, and I like that he really explains the issue. I love that Gordon's son is now part of the business, he is a great young man and did such a wonderful job on a latest repair. I tried to DIY a faucet replacement and made a mess of things! Thank you Gordon & Collin you are the best!

Gordon and his son arrived on time. He bid my job based on photos I sent. Gordon finished in under three hours on a leak in our water main. The cost was 1/3 of another bid. They were polite and cleaned up quickly. Great plumber, I will hire in the future. Thanks Gordon for your help!

I own a dental practice and when we came back from Thanksgiving our toilet had been leaking. We called Gordon and he responded very quickly. Gordon and his helper are clean cut and professional. We had patients in the office while they worked. They got the job done quickly and quietly while we worked. Gordon explained everything that needed to be done and the cost. The price was fair and the work excellent. We will call them again if needed. I highly recommend Top-Notch Plumbing.

Gordon and his son installed an insurance mandated leak detector/shut off in our home. A very competitive estimate was given without any hassle. The work was completed in a quality and timely fashion. They were friendly and professional. I would recommend Top Notch Plumbing without hesitation.

Cesar was our technician and he was great. He has an upbeat personality and is really great with customer service. The project was involved and complicated due to extensive tree roots from multiple trees and my house being over 100 years old and he never got discouraged.

One of my new toilets clogged at around 9:30 p.m. the night before Thanksgiving. I couldn't reach my various regular plumbers. I called Rooter Hero and they were going to try to dispatch one of two plumbers fairly soon. Unfortunately, one wasn't available and Victor had just left for another call. But I gave permission for Victor to call me even very late - up to midnight - rather than try to deal with this over Thanksgiving.

Victor called me close to midnight, and apologized that the job he had been on had run long. He asked if he could still come over and I said yes. He was so respectful and pleasant, I appreciated his attitude especially at the late hour. I explained that I had recently had new toilets installed, had other plumbers dealing with issues on one other toilet, but the one that clogged hadn't had issues. Before just jumping to auger out the toilet, Victor analyzed the relationship between the other toilets and even the shower to see if any of them might be affecting the clogged toilet. I appreciate that he was so thorough. When the other toilets and shower didn't seem to be interacting with the clogged toilet, he did give me an estimate to auger out the clog which I agreed to. In a matter of a few minutes, he got the clog resolved.

I had mentioned to Victor that both of my parents had recently passed away, in order to explain all the boxes and thing around my house that I was sorting through. He was very kind, and again, the word that best describes him is respectful. Even though it was in the wee hours, Victor had a great attitude, was appreciative and professional, and got the job done quickly.

Got to my place fast, help me get my drain unclogged and fee was inexpensive and we don’t have any complaints at all. I appreciate him for giving us all our options

Mike and his crew are very professional and honest. Their workmanship is great, attitudes are great, scheduling is always easy and the costs for each job has been great! Highly recommend these guys for locating and liner repairs. Best in the business!

I always use rooter hero for my plumbing needs and I have to say their customer service is the best. Their technician, Raul was very helpful with my clogged sink and even though the repair ended up being a bigger problem then I thought it would be he was empathetic and worked with me to get me the best price. He was very courteous and ensured myself and my tenant were happy with the repair. I would gladly use rooter hero again if I have another plumbing problem and will request Raul

They will not discuss pricing over the phone and when the tech came in person he said they have a flat pricing plan. They were saying it would be $450 for a job that ended up costing me $30 and maybe an hour of my time. If you want fair prices I would recommend looking elsewhere. The only reason I'm giving them 2 stars is that the technician was very kind the entire time.

If I could give Luke 10 stars I would. I've never worked with someone so dedicated to his job. It is very evident that he loves what he does and takes pride in his work. I could not have asked for a better person to do my repairs. The entire team was informative, and knew exactly what they were doing and helped make myself and my family feel safe and well taken care of. I knew we were in good hands! KUDOS!!! I contacted Rooter Hero in the morning and received a quick call back. They were able to get a technician out to our house the very same day. Every person I spoke with was friendly and helpful, from the scheduler to the dispatcher, to our technician, Aaron. Aaron was friendly and efficient. He arrived promptly and quickly diagnosed the problem with our slow-running drain. He fixed the problem quickly and was knowledgeable about how to help prevent drain problems in the future. I will definitely be calling Rooter Hero for all our plumbing needs!

They both were amazing. They both were polite, attentive, and they were both very efficient and fast. They were also able to refer me to a dry out company that is working with my insurance.
