The city informed us of abnormal water usage and confirmed it was a service line leak, which the property owner is responsible for repairing. We contacted Genuine Plumbing and Rooter Inc. The plumber inspected the property and stated with certainty that there was a leak present but could not determine the exact location.

He referred us to Pegasus Leak Detection for further investigation.

Pegasus performed measurements and concluded that no leak was found. After receiving that conclusion, we contacted the plumber again. He suggested modifying the valve system to make future leak detection easier for the referred detection company and estimated the modification cost at $1,205.

The following day, another professional inspected the meter area, removed soil, and immediately located and repaired an active service line leak without requiring the suggested modification.

Given the sequence of events, including the referral, the detection outcome, and the subsequent repair the next day, we found the situation difficult to reconcile.

We are sharing this timeline as factual information so others can understand our experience and evaluate their options carefully.

The tech (Clinton) was quite knowledgeable and made a challenging task look easy. It convinced me that I made the right choice not attempting a DIY job, thank goodness! It's always great to have this kind of service experience!

Our fridge wouldn’t produce water or ice so we contacted Genuine Plumbing. They were able to come out the same day and determined that we had a dead waterline running to the fridge. They told us our options to fix the issue and then ordered the necessary parts. They came back the following day to run a new line and did the work quickly and efficiently. We were very impressed with Clinton throughout the process.

Donny came and took care of some smelly kitchen plumbing problems, and he was helpful, pleasant and thorough. A great experience all around, we recommend his company highly!

Mark and helper came out to re hook our reverse osmosis, garbage disposer, soap dispenser and new facett after we had a new counter top put in, they did a fantastic job. He refigurated everything under the sink to make it much more functional. Thank you Mark!

Great service! I had them repipe my gas line over a year ago and there was a gas leak in one of the fitting and they came by, found the leak and fixed it for free! Very friendly and efficiency. Thanks Donlon!

Worst experience ever. Don't call these people ever. They left the job site unattended for a week and then the water started overflowing. A real emergency and they said it would have to wait more until Monday when they open again.

My mother who is 94 had a gas leak in the front yard . We called Donlon’s plumbing and they fixed it . The problem is during digging they broke the water pipe and jerry rigged the water pipe and buried it . They never said what had happened. A year later that fix on the water pipe broke . By the time we found the flooding problem $800.00 of water was spilled . They came out and fixed it and when confronted with the water bill they denied they were responsible. The water pipe fix was about 3 weeks ago . Today is 6/22/18 . I wouldn’t use them again because they said the work they do isn’t guaranteed after a year .

Fast-Efficient-TERRIFIC JOB Every time. DONLON Plumbing has solved big and little problems for us. From Clogged Sinks to Gas Line Replacement, quickly and on budget. One quick story; We had another Plumber come out and assess a flooded bathroom, "needs total overhaul, very costly-Massive bathroom remodel'... DONLON came out, found problem= replace $6 rubber (or Wax?) gasket. Job Done. Can't say enough how great these people are, from the office staff to the plumbers, FIRST RATE.

After returning from a long trip, I came home to a broken shower faucet (so frustrating!). After Googling faucet repair, driving around looking for parts and still not able to find the problem, I called Donlon Plumbing. This message is for everyone, please call the 1-800# on any of your appliances before ever calling Donlon. I could have saved myself $75 and made the phone call myself. I paid $75 for Donlons plumber to come out to my house to check on my water heater. The guy pressed the pilot light button a few times and then called the 1-800# for help. Funny thing is the lady on the phone asked who she was speaking with and said 2 names. One name which was the plumber who made the call and the other name was the previous owner. The water heater was also registered to another address. Even the person with the 1-800# thought that was fishy.

Excellent professionalism, prompt replies to inquiries, reasonable prices. I’ve used them twice now for replacing waste lines in houses with a small crawl space. The office staff is polite and friendly. The plumbers were professional and took the time to answer my questions.

Even though their techs were unable to come to my house for an emergency clean out, because they were busy with other jobs, they called another plumbing service for me and set up another appointment in the same 60-90min time frame!
