Shawn was great! After being under the house for hours to repair multiple leaks, he took the time to speak with my neighbor who had a question about her heater. When sharing my great experience with a friend, she recognized him and shared that she also had a great experience with Shawn. Another friend had a great experience with replacement of her water heater. The best reviews are customers sharing their positive experiences and recommending that company to more people!

Joey did a great job repairing our old floor furnace. Repair required replacement of several parts, including fashioning a new draft diverter box out of sheet metal. The discrete and quiet floor furnace matches well with the design of this small house, so it's great to have it working reliably again.

Other contractors either no longer work on this type of furnace at all or recommended replacing it with a far more expensive type. Honrath & Stacey made a clear, detailed estimate at a reasonable price and did the work quickly. Highly recommended.

Joey Stacey fixed my 76 year old floor heater in less than 30 minutes, replacing the gas/regulator assembly and thermopile with updated new components. Super nice, punctual, communicative, and more than reasonably priced. Best technician/contractor since owning a residence in more than 45 years. Very highly recommended, should be first choice

Honrath and Stacey have been my go-to plumbers for over forty years. I own several rental properties, and Honrath and Stacey do all my plumbing and heating repairs. They are reliable and professional. I have complete faith in what they tell me when discussing a repair, and I would never consider using anyone else.

I’d give six stars if there was an option! I live in Richmond N&E and have had several plumbing problems over the years that required immediate attention. I’ve called other well-regarded plumbers but they are not able to send anyone out for days. Joey (Honrath & Stacey) has always managed to come the same day to fix a burst pipe, a leaky hot water faucet, and most recently a leaking water heater — we were leaving on vacation the next day, so it was an emergency! He and his colleagues are super nice, super competent, and very fair in their pricing. Highly recommend them!

We've used Honrath and Stacey Plumbing and Heating happily for several years, including a major job of installing a new furnace and ducts in the attic (done in 3 hours) after our old Payne gave out after 29 years. They've always been responsive and I recommend them highly.

I called the Richmond office of Honrath & Stacey and left a message regarding a heating issue on Tuesday, 1/14/2025. Joey readily called back on his work cell. After discussing the possible problem, Joey came to the house the next morning (1/15/2025) to remove a part for repair. While assessing the problem, he noted that my furnace was quite old and that parts may be obsolete in the future. We discussed possible replacement. After getting an estimate for repair vs replacement, I opted for replacement. Part repair and new furnace was available at his shop. Replacement was scheduled the following Monday (within a week's time) on Martin Luther King Day - a holiday. He and his worker came, replaced the furnace and an old duct. The job was completed smoothly and promptly - and we had heat again. I would highly recommend Joey England of Honrath & Stacey, a long time family owned local company for plumbing and heating issues. Joey was readily responsive by cell or text, and got the work done in timely fashion and professionally at an affordable price.

Had some HVAC needs and contacted H&S. While they responded quickly and came out for an estimate, they didn't seem to know about the TECH Clean CA incentives for heat pump HVAC upgrade. I even provided them the link and info about the program. I was told verbally and in a follow up email that they would get back to me with an estimate, but I never heard back from them. I proceeded to work with vendors who are knowledgeable about clean energy incentive programs.

Joey was the best to work with - he and his crew (James and Lincoln) came out several times, and they were friendly and efficient. Joey was so helpful, he identified several problems with our plumbing and sewer line. Their service and knowledge were excellent, and they are affordable.
