We had Honrath and Stacey replace our gas water heater with an electric Rheem heat pump water heater. They were friendly, arrived as expected, worked diligently to complete the job quickly including running electrical to the heater area, and clean up afterwards. They even returned a few days later to insure there were no leaks and then insulated the pipes for even more efficiency.

Recently contacted Honrath & Stacey about replacing a 40-year old furnace. The technician answered all my questions, scheduled and installed the new furnace promptly. They also replaced my water heater about 5 years ago - another positive experience.

I've used Honrath's services twice: once for a rather tricky HPWH install (for which they were the lowest bid) and the second time for a dual flush toilet repair. in both instances I found Joey, James, and Lincoln to be affable, professional, and knowledgeable. when a problem did develop with an associated piece of equipment, they were quick to respond, diagnose and fix. they will be my first call for any future plumbing needs.

The workers who helped us were professional and polite, and very knowledgeable. My mother has a very old floor heater In a Bungalow house built in the 30s in the Laurel District in Oakland. To service the heater someone has to go into the crawlspace under the house, which is difficult to access. While working on the floor heater, the technician found a plumbing leak and gave me an Estimate and came back and did the work for that as well. Not a lot of companies work on the old type heaters and are not as Helpful as these guys were. I highly recommend them.

James and Lincoln fixed our heating super quick - they were able to get us into the schedule really quick too and immediately identified the problem. Not only did they fix the unit, but they also went above and beyond to also clean it all really well. Highly recommend them!

He and his staff recently did a major project for us and provided advice ahead of time as to how to prepare for the work that was going to be done. On the day of the project, they arrived on time and stayed late to make sure everything was working the way it should. We will be sticking with them for our plumbing needs as we find they use quality supplies, and provide quality service!

After having a number of bad experiences with big name plumbing companies I found Honrath & Stacey. They are honest, do a good job, and have reasonable rates. They are a small business and can use community support. I highly recommend them.

I have used Honrath and Stacey for all of my plumbing and heating needs for at least 13 years and I can honestly say I think they are the best! I live in a 93 year old house and Joey, the owner, has installed toilets, garbage disposals, a new heating system, water heater , sump pumps, replaced our galvanized pipes with copper and so much more. He has had to do some very tricky repairs and he always does an amazing job… not to mention he is very trustworthy, honest and personable. I highly recommend Honrath and Stacey!

I have been relying and using this company to fix and repair problems with my water heater and furnace for 5+ years now. They fixed these problems quickly, if not they offer 2nd options. Over the years, I've gotten to know Joey, and he is straight forward and honest about the problems and solutions. Which I appreciate very much. Also, I like that they are located nearby. Compared to other companies offering the same or similar services, their rates are affordable.

They were recommended to me by another company because they work on wall heaters. I called them to work on the heaters in a couple of rental units that we own and manage. They were great about communicating with me and with my tenants. They were on time and efficient and did a great job fixing both units.
