Terrible experience. Repairman was late for both diagnostic and actual repair appointment. And after he assured me it would be cheaper to repair my microwave than replace it, after the bill tripled on completion of the repair, I see it would have been less than half the cost of what I paid to just replace with a new one. Horrible experience, would not recommend to my worst enemy

Extremely poor service. The guy tried to make a temporary fix to broken refrigerator water pipe to stop the leakage but it started leaking immediately after he left within few minutes. When we called back the office they said we need to rebook another appointment and pay the fees. NB- We already paid the full fees for the first service without any resolution.

Alexi and Henry were skilled, professional, and thorough in assessing my appliances and performing the necessary repairs. I am very happy with their work!

I rarely write reviews but avoid this business.

The igniter on our stovetop broke, $30 part. A man came out, confirmed that, placed the order and said he'd come back in a week to fix. Sounds reasonable.

10 days go by and finally after multiple attempts to outreach, Appliance Giants say that the part is not made and that they will refund me. Super odd because I can find the part online but whatever.

They then call a few days later and say they need to have another technician come out to look at the stove before they can fix. At this point it's been a month, I tell them not to come. They insist on scheduling. I insist on canceling.

Still waiting on my refund and will probably have to use Chase to clear it up.

Tech was very knowledgeable and competent! He got my built in microwave working again! The alternative was to spend over $2k to replace the oven/microwave unit! Thank you!

These people are crooks. It took 10 weeks for them to finally "fix" our dryer, yet they caused another issue and refused to fix it unless we pay them more money!!!

We already paid them over $1k because they misdiagnosed the issue the first time and we paid a lot for labor. Then 6 weeks elapse until the parts come in, then they charge us more money.

After he "fixed" our dryer, we tried using it the next day and now we are getting new error messages on the dryer. We called them to fix it and they said they won't unless we pay another $140.

Do not do business with these crooks!

Ruslon the repair technician was polite and respectful completed the repair in a timely manner. He went over the issues and what needed to be done for the repair. Ruslon made sure if I had any questions he answered them before he left making sure I was satisfied.

On time, quick, accurate diagnosis, fast repair. The oven starts up much faster than before.

I hate writing bad reviews, but man... they came out, quoted me, ordered the part and said he would need a helper so would be an extra cost. Came back out, forgot the helper (we have stacked washer, he said he needs to remove the dryer to access the washer to change the gasket) so he left and we rescheduled. Came back out the following week with the helper, they realized they ordered the wrong part, asked to reschedule. I fired them. Hired LG. They came out (one guy) removed and changed the gasket (without having to remove the dryer) done and done in 30 min. Our washer was leaking for four weeks waiting for appliance repair to get it together. Never again.

Very knowledgeable. The quote given on the phone was not accurate. It was more $$ but did a good job.

I had a service technician come out to diagnose my refrigerator 3 weeks ago. The part needed to be ordered, and after paying for the part, I scheduled the repair for 7 days after the initial diagnosis.

The repairman did not show during the scheduled time, and I was called the next day to reschedule. I scheduled it for 8 days after that.

The day before my second appointment, I was called, and asked to reschedule again. I requested to speak with a manager regarding the multiple reschedules. I was told I would hear back from one. The next appointment was scheduled for 7 days later.

I called 5 days later as I had not heard from a manager. I was told I would be called back.

On the day of the next appointment I was called and told that they would need to reschedule again. I have still not heard from a manager.

Pros: Fast service. Fixed the problem with my dryer.
Cons: Charged me half the price of my dryer for 40mins of work that didn't involve any replacement parts...

This place is the WORST of the WORST.
    A total scam.
For a 800 Series Speed Oven 27'' Stainless steel
HMC87152UC repair they required in advance $390.79 paid in advance for labor and parts.
Not only the technician was an incompetent russian who misdiagnosed the problem, when he came to my home to do the repair he found out that the oven was 100% broken beyond repair.
He said he would call his office to issue a refund for the charges made to my credit card.
After spending endless hours calling their number their customer service is so lousy, bad an incompetent that I am still waiting for my refund.

Service was good. Technician helped himself to gum without asking and without washing his hands. The gum was in a cup and he touched multiple pieces. I find this irritating and unacceptable.

Well, I can't really comment on the technician, because my experience never got that far...

I booked online through the website, scheduling a technician between 4-6 pm. I'm sitting around waiting for someone, but around 5:10 pm, luckily, I decide to call to get an eta.

I get told that they have my booking and my account profile, but there is no technician coming because their online system booked a customer service employee instead of a technician. Have no clue how that happens, but I grit my teeth and begin setting up an appointment for the next day.

Except when I ask about the service fee, which was $50 during the online booking, I'm told it is $140. Huh? The rep goes on to tell me that other companies charge $50, but not them while completely ignoring the fact that their site and my booking quoted me at $50.

I mentioned, with all that has gone on above, if the fee is now $140, I would rather cancel. I suppose they have enough customers/clients, so good for them, because the reps response was simply, "ok, I'm sorry". No accommodation proposed or anything, simply I'll cancel it for you.

I definitely won't be calling these folks again. Besides, their service fee is quite a bit higher than most of the other places I called.

The service technician, Alex was punctual, polite and got the job done. Ice maker is working great so far.

Ivan was great, and came up with solution pretty fast and it worked. It even gave suggest to have to prevent the problem from recurring

Ivan was courteous and very knowledgeable. He was able to make the repair immediately

❌❌❌ The technician took one quick look at my refrigerator—literally 30 seconds—and immediately claimed the issue was a faulty board and needed to be changed and there might be some complications, without checking anything at all. I did some research afterward and found that this company has a 1.7-star rating on Yelp and a 1.0-star rating with the BBB. When I questioned how a diagnosis could be made without any inspection or testing, I got no clear answer. It honestly feels like they're more interested in charging for parts and labor than actually solving the problem. That’s not how you build trust or earn repeat customers. I strongly recommend staying away from this company.

This is yet another company who charges way too much for their services. First, they advertised that they were a local Pasadena company calling themselves Pasadena Appliances when in fact they are headquartered in San Francisco, so you have to communicate and “negotiate “ with someone on the phone in San Francisco - not with the actual repair guy that came to your house - about everything, negating the comfort of being able to deal directly with the person actually doing the work or with them in person at a local store if something goes wrong. In our opinion, this is deceptive.
All we needed was to get a tiny plastic door replaced on an older model mini frig - the door is only about a foot long and 6 inches high and pretty much anyone could snap it in. (A tiny broken screw or piece of plastic had unhinged the door) They called the next day after finding the part, then wanted to charge us hundreds of dollars more to put it in on top of the 99 dollar service fee we had already paid for the service call - more than the cost of buying a new mini frig or a decent used one - and more than I make in a week. There was no wiring or electrical work involved in this task or moving of heavy equipment- it’s just a tiny plastic freezer door on a mini frig. During the service call the nurse n person seemed open to just marking up the price of the part for us to buy since we could install it ourselves easily. But the next day they refused to work with us for an affordable, reasonable solution, not even letting us know where we could get the part. I told them I was a retired seniors on a fixed budget, but they could have cared less. We already paid for the service call and were willing to pay them fairly for finding the part, but holding it hostage until we paid them some exorbitant charge to come back and spend a few minutes snapping it in was unacceptable. In short, they were way overpriced, extremely inflexible and had no sympathy. Very cold operation, pun intended.
