I have hired ARS several times to do work on my roof. First, when I bought my house and needed some work done to get it up to code. I also had them install gutter guards. Most recently, I had them clean my roof since it was covered in moss and tree debris. Letitia's crew came out in the rain and spent 4 hours on my roof scrubbing it completely clean. They also cleaned my gutters and did a fantastic job. If you didn't know, ARS is a black-owned business and Letitia, the CEO has been recognized nationally for her entrepreneurship and leadership. She also founded a local nonprofit that helps youth get jobs in construction. Totally 100% worth supporting this awesome company!

I had a full roof inspection (an insurance requirement) and repair completed in July 2025, and the entire experience exceeded my expectations. Leticia was incredibly professional and responsive from the start. Bret made sure everything was done with attention to detail and a high standard of workmanship.

Every issue identified during the inspection — from cracked tiles to flashing and sealing — was addressed thoroughly and efficiently. ARS replaced our 30-year-old roof.
The quote and estimate process was clear and detailed and thorough.
When the start date arrived, the entire team was cheerful and communcative and ernest. The foreman made sure the roof was watertight every night and they cleaned up the entire workspace around our house every night. They paid great attention to detail with the dianosis and replacement of areas of dry rot and areas that needed repair. The new roof is spectacular. We had a small portion of flat roof and they covered in a way that makes it look like a tank could roll over it.
Without a doubt, I was pleased with the whole process and with the undeniably fabulous result. I totally recommend this team for anyone's roof replacement.

ARS spoke with me on Christmas morning and had a crew out to us the following morning to inspect a roof leak. They discovered that a recent gutter cleaning we had done by another company did not do a thorough job and left a massive amount of debris in our gutters. They got right to work getting all the muck out of a very hard to reach spot and provided us before and after photos which show what a great job they had done. Some other companies may assume it’s ok to cut corners if the work in not in a visible spot, but not ARS. They saw the issue from the moment they arrived and showed us the finished product which was amazing! They’ve earned a lifetime customer!

ARS Roofing and Gutters is hands down the BEST roofers I have ever used. They are professional, knowledgeable, and completely trustworthy. Letitia took the time to meet with me and explain the services I needed. They worked extremely well with my solar provider who needed to remove the solar panels and standoffs. I did not understand the significance and value of working with a "Master Builder." The quality of the workmanship was at the highest standard. They communicated with me throughout the duration of the project. I HIGHLY recommend ARS!

Pricing is customized to each home, so I won’t share numbers here—but I can assure you the bid was fair and transparent.

2. A Professional and Respectful Crew
Work started June 30 and wrapped up July 7. About five roofers were on-site every day, showing up early and working diligently. I was impressed by how they cleaned up daily—I even checked my cameras, and they never left debris around my property. They treated my home like it was their own.

3. Thoroughness Over Speed
My 1,600 sq. ft. home required a full demolition down to the plywood. The crew inspected every inch, discovered areas of dry rot, and walked me through their findings before repairing them properly. This level of care reassured me that the job was done right. While some companies advertise “one-day roofs,” I now believe rushing can lead to oversights. ARS took the time to get it right, and I feel confident my roof will last decades.

4. Start-to-Finish Excellence
Once the repairs were done, the reroofing itself was efficient but highly detail-oriented. ARS coordinated the city inspection after completion, and even the CEO came by personally for a walkthrough—explaining how I can help maintain my roof for up to 50 years.

5. Giving Back to the Community
To top it all off, I later learned that part of my payment supported the LIME Foundation, a nonprofit ARS partners with. Knowing that my project contributed to a philanthropic mission made the experience even more meaningful.

Very satisfied with Northbay. Geno and team arrived on time and did a great job. I recommend them for repairs and maintenance.

I have 3 houses that I’m having new roofs put on. 1 in Oakland and 2 in Santa Rosa. They insisted that their bidder was working on the 4th of July and gave us a 4 hours window that they would arrive. We waited but they never showed up. When I mentioned to the owner that no one showed up he became unglued and insisted that I had made a mistake. I don’t understand why he was upset at me. I didn’t imagine a 4th of July appointment.

Northbay replaced the roof on our 1879 built St Helena farmhouse and couldn't have done a better job. They were not the "low bidder" but they were (by far) the most professional company we considered. The communication was excellent, the job was done as planned/scheduled, and the cleanup was perfect. Zero damage to plantings around the house. I highly recommend this company!

North Bay roofing did a great job repairing our metal roof. We also had them install new gutters. Both jobs were done very well! Communication was consistent, on site repair team were friendly and got the work done quickly. I will use them in the future for any roofing needs.
