This Company is contracted to deliver and install appliances for other stores. They sent some nit wit to my Thornton Col house to install my dishwasher. No one was home to inspect it. However even though it had a broken off front panel with red wires exposed, their installer went ahead and installed it rather than to call me and tell me. That put the bill of installation of 169.00 square in MY lap.
They are going to refund me but it has been a hassle. I would not recommend this conpany if their installers can't see obvious damage to an appliance, or even turn it on to see if it works. And yes that was the next problem. As soon as it was turned on it spurted water everywhere.
Do not buy from any appliance store that uses them for delivery and installation until they hire people who have common sense.
Whats worse, he called me for my credit card number and he STILL didn't tell me about the damage.
He sounded like he was not all there. I asked that he mail me a receipt and he failed to do that too.

Had a great experience with Brand Source Appliance service man James Ferguson. Very polite, efficient, on time and knew what he was doing. I have a service contract with Brand Source Appliance for a relatively new range and they have fixed it twice with no discussion and in a timely manner.

Brand Source attempted to fix my Samsung dishwasher which stopped turning on after the warranty expired. On the first visit, the repairman diagnosed the problem as a leaking pump which had triggered the leak sensor, shutting down the dishwasher. He replaced the pump, costing over $200 but the dishwasher would still only work sporadically. He then replaced a circuit board which didn't fix the problem so he sent that part back and on yet another visit replaced the control panel. The dishwasher continued to only work once every 4-5 days, which indicates the leak sensor was still be activated somehow. He then decided the new control panel he installed was faulty, so ordered another one. When he arrived for the eighth time to install it, Samsung had sent the wrong part so Brand Source had to re-order it. After four months without a working dishwasher I bought a new one and asked Brand Source to give me a refund for the $200+ control panel they installed. They refused.

I have used Brand Source both for Handyman and appliance servicing. They are excellent in every way. Friendly, prompt, attentive, knowledgeable, considerate and respectful of my time and needs. I have mainly used the Handyman service lately, and they are without compare. They do not leave until the job is finished. They are thoughtful, careful not to wake my napping baby, and extremely helpful. Other handymen are often booked up and will often leave part of the way through the job. If you want something done, done right, and with caring and attention, please use Brand Source Handyman.

I recently had some work done on a Bosch oven and range. The appliance was still under extended warranty so we didn't have any out-of-pocket expenses. It took a couple of trips to get the right parts installed, but the service person -- a young man named Brandon -- was courteous, efficient and professional. As a result I am recommending to our HOA that anybody with appliance repair issues should give Brand Source a call.

James Ferguson was the repair guy that came out for our 3 month old refrigerator and was very professional and courteous. He took care of the problem fast and explained to us the benefits of the service plan. Over all great service!

Recently, we purchased a washer and steam dryer from Appliance Factory Outlet. When we realized we didn't get the proper hoses delivered for our dryer, they referred us to Brand Source for installation. Nick came out and informed us that we had to pay another $149 for the hoses and $100 for installation. Reluctantly we paid the up charge for something that should have been included to begin with. The evening after installation, we started to see water on the laundry room floor. We called Brand Source and scheduled them to come look at the source of the problem. Nick called the morning of the scheduled service call and informed me that this would be a billable call. I pressed him to explain why we would have to pay another $100 and he said, because he worked on the dryer, not the washer and that was probably the culprit. Since we had never had leaking issues until Nick worked on it, it seemed clear to me the issue was what he previously worked on. This makes sense since the dryer hose tees into the washer. When I pressed him on the issue he became combative with me and then said have a nice day and hung up on me. I called back the operator and she apologized to me and explained a manager would call me back. but I never heard back from anyone at the company. It's clear to me that they don't care about their customer service. I am not exactly sure why Appliance Factory Outlet uses this company for their service. They aren't doing their customers any favors.

In my experience, it was very difficult to get customer service on the phone. The company never provided me with the time window of when they would arrive. The appointment I ordered was for a rental property and they arrived without me knowing it so I wasn't there to meet the technician. I only live 10 minutes away but the technician was only there for about 5 minutes. When the repair technician called me, he was extremely rude by talking over me, interrupting me and would not allow me to get a word in edgewise. He also talked very fast and I didn't fully understand what he was saying. Every time I tried to ask a question, he would just talk over me. When I finally got a hold of somebody in the office to request a different technician meet with me over at the property, they said they could not help me or answer my questions or provide details about what the technician did at the property without a credit card on file. Overall, this was a very negative experience and in my opinion, if you are looking for appliance repair, look somewhere else.

Stay Away! DONT BUY THE EXTENDED WARRANTY from Appliance Factory. Completely unresponsive and uncaring. This is not my 1st rodeo with them in which the first one was poor. They fell from poor to terrible. It took me a week to connect with them in the first place as they would never pick up the phone (or return messages). The repair guy came out 2 weeks later and ordered parts and determined the fridge was covered under warranty. 27 days later, still no communication of when the repair person will be out to repair. Ive called them 2x (good luck reaching anyone) to get an ETA or any info. Crickets. Meanwhile I'm putting ice in my fridge every day with no resolution in site. I know there are supply issues but providing no info on anything (parts or timing) is criminal.
DO NOT BUY THE EXTENDED WARRANTY

Do NOT waste your money on the warranty plan . I had to wait about a week to have a technician come out to "fix" my refrigerator, only to be told that they would have to order the compressor (for a refrigerator that is 1.5 years old), which we already diagnosed due to the fact that the fridge and freezer are sitting at a nice 69 degrees and shows no signs of cooling. Then they order the part, which will take another WEEK and will have to schedule service at that time. So, now I'm out a refrigerator for at least 2 weeks!!!

Save your money, time, and frustration!!

Shame on Appliance Factory for up-selling this warranty and Product Protection Plus for non-existent customer service.

We had a very unusual experience with a technician from this company, and since we've heard nothing from company management to follow up, we have to assume they support the behavior of this individual.

The short story is that after canceling once and rescheduling, the technician showed up the following week to look at our LG refrigerator. My wife brought him into the kitchen, and I walked in a minute or so later to meet him. I said hello, and he never looked up or acknowledged me. I said hello again and he glanced up but said nothing. I tried to describe the issue we were having, and he looked annoyed. I asked about the problem and he finally offered a response that really didn't answer the question. I told him there must be something else and asked again, and he looked down, packed up his bag without saying a word, and walked out of the house. That was it.

At this point, I called the extended warranty company that had set up the appointment with Brand Source and I told them what happened. They very graciously scheduled another service company to come out. They also contacted Brand Source who said that I was rude to the technician, which is absolutely untrue. This gentlemen obviously had some sort of chip on his shoulder when he walked in the door, and it's unfortunate Brand Source apparently condones his unprofessional behavior.

By the way, the other company that came out today was an actual LG service technician, and he was outstanding! Very prompt, courteous and knowledgeable, and he addressed the problem quickly. So I guess all's well that ends well, but Brand Source certainly was NOT a part of the positive outcome.

I have a warranty with Brand Source from Appliance Factory. Twice they have cancelled my appointment and put me at the end of the line. Each time I have to wait another 2 weeks when they cancelled on me!
I submitted my warranty issue 6 weeks ago and it still hasn't been fixed. My fridge is leaking water constantly.
When I call to reschedule each time the scheduling lady is very rude. This has been a huge drain on my time and is driving me nuts! Definitely one of the worst customer services I have ever had!

I used Brand Source several years ago and stopped using them because their rates were just too high. I had always been pleased with their work, so I decided to try them again when my KitchenAid double wall oven stopped working. I found their rates much more competitive than they had been before. The service rep who came out, James Ferguson, was extremely polite, professional and efficient. He assessed, left and drove across town to get parts, came back and had the oven fully functional within a 3 hour timeframe. I was very pleased with the onsite repair service, based on this, will definitely call Brand Source next time. This being said, it was a bit frustrating that they are scheduling about 6 days out which tells me they are understaffed.

I needed a certified Bosch technician to work on my older model Bosch Dryer so I called Brand Source. I'm so glad James was sent out. He was courteous and professional. He listened patiently while I explained all that had been happening, and he made sure he answered all my questions before he left. He had me up and running in no time and gave further tips to prevent this from happening in the future.

My sister called for dryer repair after trouble shooter via internet the dryer was bought from FAO yrs ago & have done business through the years since they first opened the person on phone let her describe all details of the dryer issues. She told her it was taken apart just needs a heater coil she said okay they would order THAT PART & get back to me, so they did took a week, but I felt like they would fix. Anyway repairman shows up & right away says Dryer is apart this going to cost you more ! he was very rude!
I said I told the person on the phone that it was apart.
I could of put it together for you it was only 4 screws to get it running.
She said if you have problem you can leave and so he just left.
This is not customer service to us!
I guess this place has gotten to big to get the kinda service we use to get.
I or any of my family will not use or refer them ever again!

Bye Bye FAO...Good luck with that bad behavior...I had to give 1 *

We contacted brand source under a product warranty through appliance factory. The initial call was placed the third week of November. It took the team a week to come out to determine root cause of the issue two weeks later a Technician arrived with he incorrt part. Another three weeks later a technician arrived with a broken part. After speaking with the teams management a promise to have the problem solved by the end of the week has resulted in a no show by the brand source technician. Brand source has wasted my time waiting for service with no avail.

We have been out of a dishwasher and had an open ticket with brand source for 45 days. I do not trust that the brand source team will resolve my problem. There is a clear breakdown in communication within the company and the accountability that should be expected from high performing companies is not obvious.

These guys quickly serviced my old keg-orator, which has nostalgic for me, so I was up front with them and told them I didn't mind if fixing it cost more than replacing it. They were understanding to this and Mark quickly identified that it was the auto-defrost timing circuit/relay (and thankfully not the compressor or the old refrigerant system). Mark was accurate in estimating the time to order the part in, and their system made it easy to then schedule the final appointment for the repair. Repair was done in less than a half hour, and cost just under $230, which I considered a good price since I thought I needed a new compressor or to replace the now-banned refrigerant system.

All in all these guys were great and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again or refer them to my friends and neighbors.

The repair of our refrigerator went very smoothly from the first call to completion. Our Product Specialist was James Ferguson and he was very polite, knowledgable, clean and answered all our questions. We'd request him in the future for any appliance problems. Good job Brand Source you have a jewel of a worker.

Took over 2 months to get on the schedule. It is really hard to get a hold of this company on the phone. Best bet it to request an appointmnet online, and pray you are home to answer the phone when they return your call, if not it could take a MONTH just to talk to someone, then wait another 3-4 weeks for an appointment. They ordered a new part for my dishwasher. But during the repair appointment, claims is my water pressure and I need a plumber, not the end of the world, just wish I hasn't already waited 2 months to still be without a dishwasher. My biggiest issue is they scracthed my hardwood floors, and broke off one of the attachment arms on my dishwasher. They couldn't actualy fix anything, and made more damage. Unfortunitly they are the only repair company for a warrenty on my dishwasher from Appliance Factory warehouse. I'll be shopping home depot in the future.

James Ferguson came to our house for a Samsung refrigerator repair.
He's neat, timely, fair and is very knowledgeable about appliances. I was amazed how much he knew about appliances..just about any appliance. He fixed our refrigerator promptly and explained the repair along the way. In the mean time I showed him a rust spot on a dishwasher rack, he took a photo of the model number, looked it up, told me it had a lifetime warranty, and next week I will have my dishwasher rack.

I would call James with Brand Source Appliance Repair again in a heartbeat. Hopefully I don't have another appliance issue but if I do
    I'll be calling James.

Ordered a refrigerator, took 3 weeks to deliver it, and it arrived damaged, so I rejected it. I read another customer review who said to check the appliances at the truck before they bring them in, I'd recommend going to the truck as well and checking the appliances before they bring them into your house, to make sure it's what you want and ordered.

Unfortunately, they were out of stock with the fridge I wanted by the delivery date, and prices were back to full price when I looked at other options, so was disappointed after this experience.

On a good note though, Robert was the rep who helped me after I rejected the delivery, and he tried to find a replacement, and made the return process simple when there weren't any in stock. If you go to Appliance Factory ask for Robert!
