Appliance Repair reviews in Denver, Colorado

From the moment Kevin arrived, he appeared rushed and uninterested in listening to our concerns. Without any discussion, he immediately began testing both ovens at 360°F, the standard temperature, without addressing the core issue we raised: heat from the top oven leaking into the bottom oven, making it impossible to cook at two separate temperatures—one of the main reasons we purchased this double oven.
When I asked if he could test the ovens at different temperatures, Kevin became defensive and replied, "I’ve been doing this for 40 years—you don’t tell me what to do." He repeated that phrase several times, using his experience as a way to shut down any questions or suggestions. He also made derogatory remarks about the product, saying the ovens were cheap with poor insulation and that “they all do this.” Throughout the visit, he used profanity and acted aggressively, which was completely inappropriate.
Despite his resistance, he reluctantly agreed to test each oven separately. We set the bottom oven to 250°F and the top to 450°F. During the test, the bottom oven hovered around 280°F, and the top climbed to nearly 500°F—clear signs of temperature inaccuracy and possible heat bleed between the two compartments. Rather than finish the test, Kevin abruptly removed his tools, said he had to leave, and dismissed our concerns.
When I asked why he was ending the test early, he yelled that the top oven was "for pizzas only" and that we should "read the instruction manual." Before leaving, he told us to buy our own probes and test it ourselves—a shocking way to end a service visit.
This behaviour was unprofessional, dismissive, and completely unacceptable. If this oven is truly not designed to maintain two different temperatures at once, that needs to be clearly disclosed in the product documentation and marketing materials. -

Never showed up and didn't call to let me know they weren't coming. I confirmed 3 times that I was on the schedule.

No Response or call backs for commercial service. Don't waste your time with Hobart.
-
Horrible company and the driver are even worse. Just had one take up a handicapped parking spot and when he was told about it he decided to call me down calling me names
-
2month wait and no service was scheduled. I called Maintenance Chef, they came out that week for a service call.

I want to like these guys and the service men are capable and pleasant. I had a warranty item and its been an exhausting experience. They charge like 120.00 to come to your door. Then you pay for service. Honestly I want to like these guys. They are capable at fixing complex machinery and frankly most restaurant equipment is not easy to repair yourself. However the office ladies give the wrong info, dont follow up and seemingly refuse to do the right thing. Its a shame

Whoever was driving your van illegally northbound on 287 on 5/15 legitimately needs to be fired. Illegal actions, tailgating, cutting people off. Clearly reflects the company after seeing reviews.

Absolutely incompetent. Called on a Tuesday, got an appt. at Noon on a Thursday. Called them at 11am on Thursday to confirm, everything checks out. At 2pm, call back to find out when the tech is going to show up and I was told "You are not scheduled today."
I deal with repair contractors everyday and the office staff here is atrocious. They told me "Your fax number is wrong" when it is printed on our contracts and no one else has any problems with it. They told me "Your email isn't working either" and a little investigation showed they where adding periods for no real reason.
I will not be a repeat customer. -
Hobart now carries more parts on trucks than ever before. They have every part for my dishwasher, they keep me up and running 100% of the time. Great Service, fast response and never have to call them back

$1212.74 spent and commercial dishwasher still not fixed and I have been on hold now for 45 minutes only to speak to no-one!! Bottom of sanitizer fills with bubbles now instead of nothing!!!! I'll be disputing my charge until Hobart makes this right.

My 2.5 year old Hobart dishwasher wasn't properly dispensing sanitizer. My only repair option is Hobart Service. $900 later nothing is fixed. The proposed next step is to spend another $500 to really fix the problem. It is really sad to discover that they will stick it to small food service operations running on very tight budgets.

I would give zero stars if I could. Had them come out to look at an issue I was having with a mixer. Was charged a ridiculous amount just for them to come out. Then the tech looked at my mixer for a total of 2 minutes then took over 1 1/2 hours to write up a quote for nearly 5k!! I bought the parts that were actually broken (not what they suggested needed to be replaced) for $250 and fixed it myself. Unbelievable...Don't waste your time, try and find a solid local restaurant equipment repair guy who can work on your Hobart equipment. This Denver office is absolutely awful.

After diagnosing the problem with our dishwasher, we paid to overnight a part and were told that at the latest it would be two days until they could fix it. We waited days past the dead line and have still not heard from them. If you have the opportunity to use a different company for your service industry dishwasher, I would recommend it.

I got charged $262 for a service call. I had given them the model and part that needed replacing. The tech showed up randomly (never scheduled a time) didn't know what machine, model, or part I needed. Spent 5 minutes looking it up on his computer just to tell me they don't make/stock it anymore. All of that could have been handled over the phone.
