Very quick to come for a last minute appointment. Peyton was great and helped me understand the problem, and offered solutions. Repair took longer than it should have. In the end I paid about 10x more for the replaceable part you can get at Home Depot and labor.

Junior was awesome and replaced our old furnace the same day he came out when the nights were cold in December. He stayed late to make sure the job was done. He was super friendly and knowledgeable, and fairly presented our options. We always seem to have a good experience and recommend high 5 for plumbing or hvac.

This place is horrendous. After reading other similar reviews, I feel like I should share my experience. Hopefully this will save someone else from getting taken advantage of.

A few months ago I contacted High 5 to repair my bathroom sink faucet, which had been dripping water. The employee took one look at my sink and said he would absolutely need to replace the entire faucet, but since this model was discontinued the entire unit would have to be replaced. He quoted me "At least $800 but definitely more than that." He began checking all the other sinks in my bathrooms and confirmed they "didn't have proper shut off valves." When looking over the water lines in my basement he also randomly started to inspect my water heater and furnace and asking why there was condensation coming from the unit. He was seemingly looking for more "issues" so they could extort even more money.

I'm a renter, so I turned down the $800+ quote and contacted my landlord. He sent Around the Clog over, who repaired a single part in the faucet in less than 5 minutes. Oddly enough, they only did the job they were hired to do and weren't walking around my house looking for random stuff to "fix" either.

Save your time and money and call a reputable company.

Called the company yesterday and a plumber was sent out today. Jason is a very professional, knowledgeable, experienced plumber
He was able to diagnose the problem right away, fixed the problem by installing a new kitchen faucet, attending to some unexpected issues along the way.
I would highly recommend him to anyone with a plumbing issue. He answered all my questions, and showed me what was causing the leaking. It was a learning experience for me and I appreciated his educating me along the way.
    Highly recommend Jason.
The cost seemed a bit steep at first but I think his expertise was worth it

Just had an ice maker box installed behind our refrigerator due to a leak in water line. This involved cutting into the drywall and then having the drywall repaired when the plumbing problem was taken care of.
I was more than pleasantly surprised when I looked behind the refrigerator and noted that our plumbing technician. Mike Keebler, Had done such a nice job that we needed a no Drywall repaired done.

We needed this work done as soon as possible. I called this morning at 8:05. And was told the earliest they could be here was between 10 and two today was that OK? Yes it was. Additionally, I got a text message at 9:05 saying someone was already on their way to our house and that someone was Jose.
Again, another great experience with him.

Would highly recommend this company to anyone who needs plumbing or HVAC done I believe they do electrical also.

I can't speak highly enough about High Five and their amazing team. I operate a spa in an historic building and we are often dealing with plumbing and electric issues due to the age of the property. The High Five team has continually gone above and beyond to solve our varied problems. Each member of the team has always articulated the issues and solutions in easy to understand terms. They have come back as needed to make any alterations or corrections to previous service and have checked back in to make sure things are working appropriately after each service call.
Many thanks to Mike, Mike, Evan, Gage, Master, Nathan, Leslie, and those who helped that I may not have gotten the name of. We'll always use High Five for our plumbing and electric needs thanks to their impeccable customer service and care to creating long lasting solutions that keep our business running.

David and Jose with High 5 did a fantastic job with my French drain. David explained the whole process and what would be involved. There was an obstruction about 15 feet from where it enters the ground at an artificial stream made of river rock. David used a scope with a camera to locate the obstruction, which turned out to be tree roots. The white piping that was originally used was of poor quality so I opted to replace all of the piping, about 30+ feet of it. David and Jose worked for 8 hours removing all the river rock, placing new piping and then replacing the river rock. When they were finished there was absolutely no mess leftover. They took all of the old piping with them when they left, yay!! I can highly recommend High 5 and will be using them again.

I had a pipe burst suddenly in the middle of winter. After being run around and around with multiple other companies phone systems, I was able to get right through to their very friendly receptionist who had someone out to stop the freezing cold spraying water within the hour. I received updates on when the driver was heading out and a very handy tracker to see exactly when they would arrive.

Very convenient and efficient, highly recommend

The BEST! I wasn't sure who to call and I'm so grateful I made the right choice! My technicians Gage & Evan were professional, courteous, and efficient. They answered all my questions, they were honest and upfront with what I needed to fix both my bathrooms and it was all done in no time and for a fair price! Thank you, you have earned a loyal customer 👍

I am so happy I picked High 5. I first called on Tuesday 18 main toilet wouldn't flush, that is an emergency when you're in your mid 70's. They fit me in 2-6 window. Toilet water receding, and able to flush. Ok, called and canceled. Wed 19, here we go again. I called immediately and gave me 12-2 window. Payton arrived as expected. Very professional, friendly checked the issue which was worse than before. Our communication gave me every bit of confidence to proceed. He was very efficient & knowledgeable, explaining everything that needed to be done. Successful and back in business in a very timely manner. High 5 will definitely be my go to for any plumbing issues in the future. I will gladly recommend this company when ever I have the opportunity to do so. I obviously like to share details and friends, family will here about this experience whether they want to or not. A huge Thank you to High 5 and especially Payton, thank you.

High Five is an excellent company. I have used them three times for plumbing and heating. All technicians that have been to my home are very competent. They let you know when your technician will be arriving for the appointment. They keep the work site clean while providing services. They wear protective covering over their shoes to keep your floors clean. The work performed is excellent. When at your residence they will give you options from what they call basic repair, to mid road repair, to peace of mind repair, and the cost for each. I have used the mid range twice and peace of mind option once. My latest technician was Michael Keebler for a hot water heater issue. He saved me about $3500 from having to get a new water heater, when he could have sold me on getting a new one. That is integrity that I can trust. I believe High Five provides quality service. I will continue to use High 5. I recommend them. Five stars.

Manny is a fabulous technician! He was prompt, thorough, and kind, which I truly value. He did an amazing job making sure we were up to code AND made sure we had heat before leaving for the day on a two day job. Manny and Leo worked together on the a/c unit on day 2 and were awesome! Thanks for the prompt and friendly service. We are grateful.

All of the workers we’ve interfaced with have been friendly and competent, but I no longer will be using this company because the workers seemingly get pressure from higher-ups to upsell. They tried to tell us that a new furnace would cost $20,000, and when we said we (obviously) would be getting other quotes, they tried to make the matter seem urgent and that any company quoting lower wouldn’t do a good job. We just had another company come out for a quote - not only was the quote less than half of that, they mentioned we likely don’t even need a furnace replacement (which makes sense, our furnace has been running fine, it just needed some maintenance).

Peyton was the technician who worked on my plumbing issues. He was prompt, courteous and informed me of what was happening.

The office also was very thorough as well and communication was top notch.

Highly recommend them for any plumbing issues you may have.

Ruth!! What a savior!!! She was so smart and knew everything so fast! My place is not easy to deal with and she didn’t hesitate one bit! She worked so late just to make sure my townhome was taken care of! She explained everything she was doing to help a homeowner learn instead of just leaving me in the dark! Ruth you are the best and if you call high five ask for her ! You won’t be disappointed!! Great hire high five ! I’ll be recommending her to everyone !

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience needs to be documented so other homeowners understand what they may be dealing with.

Back in August, we hired High 5 Plumbing for an electrical service upgrade due to issues at our home. The scope included installing a new breaker panel, a sub-panel, and replacing several outlets. The job was sold to us as a one-day project for just under $12,000.

Payment and billing were handled very quickly. Unfortunately, the same level of urgency did not exist when it came to completing the work correctly.

Most of the installation was performed by an apprentice while the experienced technician was repeatedly pulled away to run other service calls. What was promised as a one-day job turned into three separate workdays spread across roughly two weeks and weekends.

The workmanship is not code compliant. The electrical inspector has now failed the project twice. The panel door does not properly open, and the inspector confirmed the installed sub-panel was not even listed on the permit. The inspector also indicated the installation may need to be removed and redone entirely in order to pass inspection.

I was instructed to schedule the inspections myself. After the first failed inspection, no one from the company contacted me. Concerned about the permit expiring and potentially being responsible for additional permit fees, I scheduled another inspection on my own. The morning of that inspection I received a call from the company stating they “noticed the final inspection wasn’t scheduled.” I was told someone would follow up.

That call occurred on February 6th, the day of the second failed inspection. According to my call log, that was the last time anyone from High 5 Plumbing contacted me. As of today, more than a month later, I still have not received a single follow-up call.

    Additional problems with the job:
    • A hole was cut in my garage drywall for an outlet that was never installed, leaving damage behind
    • No cleanup was performed — I cleaned the jobsite myself
    • The lead installer later returned over a weekend in his personal vehicle outside of normal company hours because he was concerned about being reprimanded by new management for the job not being completed on time, even though he had been scheduled on other service calls during the project

If this is the result of new management, it is a serious concern for both customer experience and the long-term reputation of the company.

As a homeowner, the most concerning part of this situation is that I now have electrical work in my home that has failed inspection twice. I do not currently have confidence that the installation was done safely, and I should not have to question whether the work performed in my home poses a potential fire hazard.

This work was performed in August, and months later I am still left with failed inspections, an open permit tied to my property, and electrical work that cannot be finalized.

Homeowners hire contractors to complete work properly and pass inspection. That has not happened here.

If High 5 Plumbing returns, corrects the installation to code, and closes the permit, I will update this review. Otherwise, I will be pursuing formal complaints through the appropriate consumer protection channels so this situation can be resolved.
