Brandon and Kevin came to install a new furnace after our old one quit on us. They were quick and professional! Everything was cleaned up when they were finished and I love how they added a reminder chart on the furnace so we know when to change our filters! Happy to a TCC member for sure!

We had a phenomenal experience with the team at Lighten Up. We called for help on electrical and plumbing (for permitting, cleaning and servicing our furnace, plus checking on a leak on our gas fireplace). The team came to our house in less than 48 hours and completed the work promptly, efficiently, and provided us with the scope of work to our future home buyer. They were truly a one-stop shop for us and the team was professional and fun to work with. We highly recommend this company!

Lighten Up helped me install a new kitchen and worked me from the planning stages when they had many great ideas not only regarding plumbing and electrical, but every aspect of the job. It was great to feel like Scott had my back during the entire project and saw everything through to completion! And even after the project was done, when I forgot to add a switch in the original bid, he sent one of his guys out and installed one at no extra charge...these guys are super! I highly recommend them for any job!

Carey K provided top-notch service. He was very professional, friendly, knowledgeable and honest. Carey showed up a few minutes early and was able to diagnose and fix our plumbing issue very quickly. The cost of the fix was very reasonable and matched the estimate presented before work took place. We will use Lighten Up for any plumbing issues we have in the future. Kyle and Ben arrived promptly at scheduled time. Kyle was knowledgeable regarding previous wiring repair done by LightenUp and asked several questions to get information for the current issue. Once the problem was identified, he offered information as to the possible cause and options to correct it. Repair was timely.
Both technicians were pleasant, engaging and knowledgeable in resolving the problem. A good experience.
Only negative was small area of debris left on floor in hall that wasn’t swept up.

We were very impressed with the entire experience with our Lighten Up project. This is the second project that they have done for us. The first was at our previous home. On both occasions, we were treated with honesty, professionalism and timely service. On this project, Michael, the electrician, was very professional and. explained everything that was being done. He went about the project, was efficient and made sure that the job site was cleaned up prior to completion. We would highly recommend Lighten Up.

We have used Lighten Up several times. Ryan and Wes installed a new furnace today. They were thorough, explained the new system, and made sure we were happy with the process. They came quickly so we could have heat. Very happy with their service, attention to detail, and friendliness - and patience with an overly curious cat. Definitely recommend.

Great service! Kyle was very friendly, quickly diagnosed our problem and replaced our electric baseboard heater the same morning. He also checked all our other heaters to ensure there were no issues or electrical hazards. Highly recommend! Will definitely use them again in the future.

Lighten Up has served us for several years now. I have never had a bad experience with this company! The people they send to your home are top notch, courteous, and professional. My latest service call, a furnace that wouldn't fire up, was exceptional! Tony serviced us, found the defective part, installed a new one and we had heat! During the entire process he explained everything he did and why, which I appreciated. Because he took the time to go over our system, how it worked, provided material for us to research, we are far better equipped to know what to look for in the remaining life of the furnace. This company is worth contacting for your plumbing, electric and hvac needs!

Another local electrician botched all the work on our new home: a lot of elementary mistakes all over the house, some of them dangerous. Although it was free to have them service the warranty, their continued delays and poor workmanship motivated me to call Lighten Up - the improvement is worth the price. They've responded very quickly, addressed the problem correctly and professionally, and are the most polite contractors I've had in my home. They're first on my list to call in the event of any problems now.

Update: Needed a plumber in a hurry, too. Once again: super friendly and easy to work with dispatchers, very fast service, all costs were quoted accurately upfront, and the work was done quickly and well.

I was impressed with this company from the first phone call to them. They are so friendly and pleasant to talk to. I was interested in upgrading the electricity in the unfinished basement. Caleb gave me several options and prices. He was ready and willing to do the work right then. I wanted to think about the options and decide later. A few months later, I called back and they honored the quote I was given. Caleb did a great job on the electric upgrade in the basement. He is so knowledgeable and he has great ideas. He was willing to do some extra work, at my request, to separate some of the lights and put them on separate switches. The same day that Caleb was coming over to do the electrical work, I noticed I had a leak from the vent pipe on the furnace. I called Lighten Up and asked if someone could look at it. They sent Mike over within 2 hours. He was also very friendly and knowledgeable. He was able to fix the problem. The communication from this company to the customer is very good. This company should be very proud! This is the way a company should be.

Lighten up was quick to answer my call and schedule a technician to come to our facility. They called me back to let me know someone could come earlier. They let me know when they were on the way and Thomas West was professional, educational, and a pleasure to work with. He completed the job quickly and the documentation was impressive. I was very impressed with Thomas as well as the warranty that came with his work. Would highly recommend.

I am highly satisfied with my experience Lightened Up! The company (office and technicians) are very professional and seem to be there to genuinely help you, not just profit.
I had Seth as my heating technician and would recommend him because of his personable, upfront and calm approach. They offer so many services within one company, which I personally loved.

Kevin and Brandon are amazing! We've been using Lighten Up's services for over a year for electrical upgrades and HVAC maintenance, and they were here to help when my air conditioner stopped working over the weekend. Turned out I needed to replace the compressor which is a extremely large homeowner expense. Nonetheless,I felt really confident about what we decided to move forward with and Chris took great care to explain everything about the replacement product and warranty.

Brandon and Kevin worked out in the hot sun all day today on the hottest day of the year so far in 2021, busted their butts to get this done for me today and I couldn't be more thankful for their awesome dedication to getting us cooled off. We also decided to sign up for their maintenance membership last year and it's saved us so much money and headaches, it was a great investment and will continue to be one moving forward as well.

I trust this business, I am always so impressed at how friendly and happy their technician's are and it seems like they really take care of their employees from office staff to technicians, everyone is wonderful. I've had several appointments for various different things and each time everything gets taken care of and I feel such a peace of mind knowing that everything is getting worked on with they're great attention to detail and customer service.

I also have to mention Celeste and Michaela in the office, they are so sweet and friendly I can feel them smiling through the phone when I talk to them, just wonderful girls I can't say enough about this company whatever they're doing they're doing it right. Thank you guys!

My water pump went out on the hot water in-floor heating at my home. I called Lighten Up again and they sent Seth out. He walked me through the system, answered all my questions and figured out that it was actually a bad tempering valve that failed and then caused the pump to fry. He found a replacement and had the system up and running. I can't say enough about how nice it was to deal with this company and technician. I'm more than happy.

The total experience with Lighten Up has been outstanding. Jenessa was pleasant, professional and efficient in getting my appointment scheduled then following up with a phone call to let me know that Fess was on the way. Once here, Fess took the time to walk me through the complex heating and cooling system in our new home. It has radiant hot water heat in the floor, forced air heat, air conditioning and a propane fireplace.

Fess was personable, professional, and gained my confidence that anything he recommended is professionally justified. He didn't just rush in, check the boxes on the inspection spreadsheet and try to sell me something I wasn't interested in. He took the time to answer my questions, show me the good, the bad, and the ugly with our system, and then he presented me with options going forward without the sleazy "used-car salesman" pitch that is so prevalent in today's service field. Well done! I'm happy to recommend this company and it's personnel.

I have the home care package deal. Aaron the electrician was awesome. Explained everything and sent estimates as I asked. Super friendly and amazing dude. Plumber was less than stellar. He told me he looked at faucets I asked him to inspect and he didn’t actually do it. Didn’t inspect washer connections. Barely spent any time here. Compared to my experience last year with an amazing plumber, I was not impressed this time around.

In June, 2021 I had my entire HVAC system replaced by Lighten Up. My experience was great from beginning to end. Two installers arrived on time, they wore uniforms, covered their shoes and covered all carpet they would walk on with plastic and rugs. Professional all the way through the day was the way they worked. I also was very happy with the brand of the AC. I especially want to mention Kevin, Brandon and Ryan. After dealing with another plumbing company and getting no results, I decided to call Lighten Up. I immediately liked their phone demeanor and their willingness to get someone to our house that day. Stephen showed up on time, was very courteous, diagnosed and fixed our boiler issue in about eight minutes. He then found another issue with the boiler (that I had noticed before, but wasn't concerned as it did not affect the operation of the boiler) and repaired it in about 10 minutes. We now have heat and boiler is back to functioning perfectly. Thank you Stephen and Lighten Up. You will definitely be my first call from now on.

I had the absolute pleasure of welcoming Cole G into my home to repair my toilet yesterday. He was on time, extremely polite, explained what he was going to repair and how much it was going to cost before he began. I've used many repair services since I've moved to Fort Collins, and I can honestly say, Lighten Up Plumbing is head and shoulders above all other companies I've used. From the first call to arrange the appointment until completion, this is the most professional, customer service driven company I've ever dealt with. This was definitely a 5 star experience. A huge thank you goes out to Cole G for a job well done!

These guys are excellent. Carey (Water Heater) was awesome. He outlined the problems we were having and various options to fix them. He was not high pressure and helped us formulate the best plan for our needs. We had same day service because Seth (Furnace) finished early and knew we were going to be available. Both Seth and Carey did a great job, were professional and courteous. They were honest, and didn't make up stuff just to bill. They stand by their work. I highly recommend them.

8/5/2016: Mike (Air Conditioning) came out and promptly fixed our air conditioning unit. He was professional and respectful. Gave us a number of options without pushing an inappropriate up-sell. Really nice guy who treated us really well. Excellent recommendation.
