JC Mechanical 247 provided excellent HVAC service with professional technicians who arrived promptly, diagnosed the issue accurately, and completed the repair with top quality.

Jim did a great Job for me. I called 4 other HVAC companies to install a humidifier to my system. I was very specific with what I wanted to do. I wanted the Honeywell ELECTRODE STEAM HUMIDIFIER and the Prestige IAQ Advanced thermostat control system. None of the companies I called had the knowledge that gave me any confidence they could do the job. I called JC Mechanical spoke with them and they new exactly what I wanted. Nixon came out started the Job then Jim came out to help get things finished since it was a time consuming upgrade. In the process to do upgrade they needed to get a 240 volt circuit brought from fuse box. You would think that was going to be a time consuming problem. Not for JC, Nixon and Jim called a preferred electrician company and 2 guys came out with in an hour and got the circuit installed and wired everything up to humidifier. System works great they did the work the way I wanted. Very professional and knowledgeable. If you have an issue or want upgrades to your HVAC can JC.

I met with Jim Jr & Jim Sr during the quoting process and had Bronson out for an install of my new furnace. The whole team did a fantastic job from start to finish, was very professional and responsive. After getting five different quotes on my install, I can also confidently say they are very competitive on price. I also really enjoyed the fact that they company is digital from start to finish with text and email notifications of when folks are on the way to the house and emailed quotes and invoices. I will definitely be looking to JC Mechanical again in the future for my HVAC needs.

Jimmy was the most knowledgeable of all the contenders we talked to. He gave us some excellent recommendations.

This jerk did not file for our Ecel rebate or given us paperwork necessary to file for a federal tax credit and the job was completed over 3 months ago! Now he won’t respond to texts and won’t return our phone calls. We are close to taking legal action.

Terrible service. I would not recommend this company. The technician used laughable scare tactics, even claiming, “This is the worst system I’ve ever seen, and I’ve been doing this since I was 8 years old.” If this company were ever featured in an investigative report about scams or fraud, I wouldn’t be surprised. Instead of addressing the actual issue, the technician focused entirely on replacing the entire unit and promoting their financing programs. No effort whatsoever was made to diagnose or fix the problem. Couldn't get him out of my house fast enough.

Jimmie, Chris and crew were personable, HVAC knowledgeable and answereed all my questions. JC Mechanical was also able per my request to use Amana products where other companies would not. We had a new Amana furnace, coil and condenser installed for a reasonable, competitive price. Happy we used JC Mechanical for our HVAC needs! Thanks!

Jim was very thorough in trying to find a solution for my old heat pump. He located a newer model of the same brand with exact dimensions as the old one. This will prevent having to cut any of the wall which would have been required if I installed a mini split.

We love JC Mechanical! After an unfortunate situation with another company occurred, we came across Jimmie and his team on a google search, and they saved the day for us and one of our clients. Jimmie immediately jumped to help us, as a business to business partner, he knew the stress and time constraints we were facing. Within a day, he had Zach and Steven at our client's home to help us evaluate the space and plan to install a custom copper hood that was both heavy and very fragile. These men did an amazing job, and we can't thank them enough! For this reason, we are now exclusively going to be using JC Mechanical for all our Heating and Cooling needs. Jim replaced some major broken parts on my furnace and did a fantastic job. They even set me up with a couple of excellent space heaters while the parts were ordered in. They were very reasonable on the labor and managed to get the parts covered under warranty. I can't thank them enough.

We had a fan under our sub-flooring that was going out. It was a dirty and very cramped job to replace it.

Other contractors we called declined the project. Jim came as scheduled and got the fan replaced. No drama. No problem.

But, while he was here, I asked him to look at our furnace and boiler. He discovered a problem with our 22 year old furnace where carbon monoxide was seeping into the house and he also found our replacement boiler had been installed incorrectly, the result being potential damage to the pipes leading to the street. If that continued, could result in a massive expense to repair the pipes.

We’re thankful that we called JC Mechanical and appreciate their expertise.

Very nice people. Wholly incompetent. Said we needed to replace our AC, so we did. It never worked. It hits 80 outside and it's game over.

They came out a dozen times at least. Fixed all sorts of things. Screwed up the drainage and it flooded the ceiling underneath.

Apparently we need new ductwork? The explanation seems plausible but only diagnosed after 2 years of service calls.

They won't return our calls.

Our AC line had a slow leak. They explained the fix, offered options and had a great price. The work was done quickly. It was the busy (hot) season so we had to be flexible with appointment times. I'll use JC Mechanical again. EDIT: I used them again to fix my furnace. Made a same day appt, they came out early which I love. Turns out it was a loose wire and the fix was only the cost of the service visit. They are my go to HVAC repair and I recommend them highly.

Our furnace was on the last legs of life, after experiences with a large company we wanted to try something smaller and more personal. Overall the experience was good. There were some challenges but the owner, Jimmie, was willing to work through a holiday weekend to get the installation complete before we left town on a vacation. Upon return from our trip he was able to fix the remaining issues and get things working as they should be. Decent pricing, functional product. The drawback we had is the reality of a small company comes with scheduling challenges, so took a bit more patience than expected.

I wish I had trusted my gut on their Better Business Bureau ratings, shoot!!
For a company that claims to be professional and reliable, this experience fell far short. I expected better communication, transparency, and follow-through. I would not recommend them and won’t be using their services again.

While I was very appreciative of them coming out and diagnosing the issue they completely ghosted me the day after. I texted and called a number of times and received no reply what so ever. Mind you my furnace was down and it was 35 degrees out. I had do have the AI phone attendant try to reach out but even then he said he would call me but never did. I have all the receipts of this.

I don’t understand why it’s so hard to text or call the day after especially when that was the plan.

JC Mechanical did an excellent job supplying and installing a new boiler in a 5 unit apartment building for us. They provided a quote that I compared to a few different companies, which was thorough and fair. They then completed the items per the quote in a timely manner and their work looks clean and functions well. For a few minor warranty issues they have been responsive and helpful. I am very happy with JC Mechanical and would recommend them to anyone with new boiler needs. Thanks Jimmy!

This is the second time I call JC Mechanical. The first time was a few years ago for an issue with the thermostat at a different location. This time it was much more serious. Jimmie was able to do a house call within a few hours of my initial phone call.

He diagnosed the problem and gave me several options. Unfortunately our furnace was over 20 years old so instead of trying to extend the life, we opted to replace it. He gave us several options and offered a cash discount and did not pressure us what so ever.

Scheduling the install was a bit tricky because they had several jobs and emergencies; our original install date was postponed by 24 hours. Wish there would have been slightly better communication but we also understand how busy they were and are grateful they fit us in their schedule. Most other companies I reached out to said they were scheduling weeks out, so replacing our furnace within 48 hours of our initial call is an extremely fast turnaround compared to other companies.

Jim and his apprentice were kind, respectful, and worked very clean. They made sure to walk us through all the changes they made to bring the furnace up to code and gave us further maintenance recommendations about semi annual check ins and monthly filter changes. Excellent company to work with.
