Justin performed the annual electrical inspection. He was prompt, courteous and professional. He gave me some insights on testing my fire detectors which I appreciated and will follow his recommendations. Over all it was a pleasure doing business with Justin.

Elkhorn HVAC service was exceptional! Alex came by the same day that I called for service and thoroughly evaluated our system. Time was of the essence, as I was leaving the state, and Justin and the entire Elkhorn team stepped in and had our system replaced the following day! They were very professional, knowledgeable, and thorough. They stressed safety and I felt like they truly cared about our well being and comfort. We discovered late last night that our heater had stopped working, and with temperature at 15° outside, our home quickly dropped to 49°. We spent the night relying on a space heater just to stay warm. Will came out on Saturday and fixed the issue promptly, and we are incredibly grateful for his responsiveness and professionalism. Without his help, we likely would have had to spend the night in a hotel or even our car. Excellent service when we need it at most - highly recommend!

I had the pleasure of having Zakee Toliver come by for my annual furnace tune-up, and he did an outstanding job. He arrived on time and took the time to understand what maintenance I had already done so he could focus on what truly needed attention and explain why. You can tell he really knows his work and takes pride in doing it right.

Beyond being professional and thorough, Zakee was just genuinely pleasant to talk to — friendly, respectful, and easygoing. It’s rare these days to have a technician who makes the whole experience feel so comfortable and positive. Highly recommend!

I had a great appointment with Justin. Justin was 100% transparent with me and did not try to upsell me on anything. He was very honest about whether the fixes he was talking about are necessary or nice to have. This is now my third time using Elkhorn and they are my go to for anything plumbing and heating related.

Excellent service. Bryan and Jay from Elkhorn arrived promptly and correctly diagnosed the problem with my furnace. After driving across town to get the part I needed, they came back and installed it, and my furnace is now working great. Highly recommended.

Had Justin out to clear up a stopped bathtub and sink. He also drained our water heater. While he was here he quoted the installation of a new full home water filtration system and the installation of a new hose bib on the side of the house.
Justin was friendly, efficient, and took the time to explain his approach and the results of the service. Everyone from Elkhorn I have dealt with have been top-notch. Elkhorn always follows up after each service to make sure the customer is satisfied. I would recommend the company.

Justin came to give us a quote on both a tankless and tank water heater replacement. He and his partner asked us relevant questions, were very professional, and answered all of our questions. They spent extra time talking to us about the requirements needed. The quote that Elkhorn gave us was very reasonable.

My heater stopped working (22 years old) and I called to get it checked out. In about 2 hours Will Miller and his coworker showed up and determined what the problem was. They were very professional and helpful. We decided to replace the unit and they called an estimator out. About an hour later, Jon Dollar arrived and we discussed the options and I decided to replace the heater, get AC and replace the water heater since it was also 22 years old. The next day, the crew showed up, I forgot their names, but they were great! Had everything removed and the new units installed by 2pm or so. Great guys! Highly recommend Elkhorn!

My secondary furnace stopped working and I didn't yet have a go-to HVAC company since moving to Highlands Ranch. I saw that Elkhorn had great reviews and was happy to see I could book online for that very day. Alex and Tim came by and very quickly diagnosed then fixed the problem. Now I know who to call for all my heating and air conditioning needs!

I found Elkhorn five years ago and started working with them for furnace/AC maintenance. When my ancient HVAC gave up three years ago, I got quotes from several places but went with Elkhorn because theirs was reasonable and much more thorough. Since then I've used them consistently for maintenance. They've always been super reliable, friendly and they really do go above and beyond in customer service (I've been on this planet a long time so I've seen it all). Fast forward to a few weeks ago and the appearance of Will Miller on my doorstep who took 'above and beyond' to a new level. Not to mention Jay the Plumber who was also great. So much so that I finally took to Google to write this review. So thank you Will, Jay and Elkhorn!

Just had to replace my 18yr old furnace and the Elkhorn team couldn't have made the process easier or more stress-free! Everyone was polite, professional and a delight to work with - from Zakee who came out and quickly diagnosed the initial problem and transparently walked me through both repair and replacement options, to Daniel who came out to spec the new system, patiently answering all my questions and ensuring all my concerns were addressed. The install team showed up right on time and worked quickly and efficiently to install a new furnace and AC unit in record time, while trouble shooting around the inevitable quirks of an old house. After ensuring I was comfortable with the new system, they cleaned up and left the basement spotless. Huge thanks to Mark, Eric, Miguel, Alton and Eric for making it such a smooth process! The house is warm, cozy (and quiet!) and I couldn't be happier with the new system. Highly recommend their work.

I love Elkhorn and have been using them for years for everything from A/C and heating to a new water heater. They have a wonderful maintenance program and everyone that has come for it is honest, not “salesy,” and highly informative. They often give system and lifestyle recommendations that help to extend the life of my systems. I’ve really appreciated everyone who has come, but I felt like today Zakee deserved a special shoutout. While he was with my furnace, I got out a new thermostat that I needed to install and wanted to ask a question about. He took the time to make sure I not only fully understood the installation process and how it was working with the furnace, but also what I should look for and expect in the house. He was friendly, knowledgeable, patient, timely and efficient with his time (and mine). Just another wonderful Elkhorn employee.

Bryan was super helpful, knowledgeable, and communicative. I was able to make an appointment on the same day. He had all the parts needed for repairing our furnace, and did a very thorough job. Cannot recommend enough!

Jack was very delightful. I loved his laugh. He seemed to be very happy at his job. He took his time, explained everything he was doing and had me look it over at the end and asked if I had any questions and not to hesitate to ask I also really enjoyed Ric And Brandon. I hope I get to make a review for both of them as well. The crew seemed to work very well together we’re not in a rush. They took their time and did a great job and always explained everything and answered any questions. I also want to give a shout out for Jon Dollar. For my experience with Elkhorn Heating, Air,electrical,plumbing it started with him I felt like he was very thorough explaining everything to me and going over everything and answered all my questions as well. I never felt pressured with him. I felt all the crew was very relaxed and did their job efficiently. I would highly recommend that corn Heating air-conditioning company to anyone.

We had a furnace and air conditioner installed this week. The men who installed these were respectful and knowledgeable. They answered all of our questions, cleaned up after themselves, and the installation was completed much faster than we expected.

We also had Bryan Lefever and Jay return on couple of days later to make some adjustments. They were prompt, answered all of our questions and made the adjustments needed.

We have been very pleased with the service and the quality of the products from Elkhorn.

Elkhorn has been our go to company for a variety of services. They have been wonderful to work with. Always professional, courteous and punctual. Will and Jay have been extremely helpful regarding our split units. This company services our home in Denver as well as our home in Evergreen. Can’t recommend them enough!

We came home to no heat, hot water , other areas of house off. We have some complicated systems. We called Elkhorn Plumbing and Heating. They responded in minutes. As we explained things they consulted within departments and called back offering us an immediate electrician or we could wait til daylight. We chose that as we thought a workman would do better in the daylight and we had our wood stove and electric heater.
Andrew is a very qualified and of course licensed electrician but also very intuitive. He has some construction background and it helps him in figuring out things. We also liked him very much as a person.
The price was reasonable. Andrew said that he liked the fact that they charge by the hour and don’t try to upsell. However we did bring up and ask about future quote for a new hot tub circuit. Not necessary now but might change in the future.
Again we were very pleased with Elkhorn Plumbing and Heating’s quick and knowledgeable and caring communication about our emergency. Andrew was the perfect person to send for our situation.

I’ve been using Elkhorn for a few years now and they continue to be top notch every time I call! I recently had to replace a 65 year old boiler and water heater at a rental property and Eric and Mark were awesome. Eric explained everything super well, and got the job done in a single day, which was very impressive and appreciated by the tenants. I also had to use Elkhorn for my own home over a holiday weekend, and once again Eric was out here quickly and able to get our heat back within 15 minutes. While other companies have quoted 2x-3x the cost, Elkhorn is always super fair and transparent about project costs. Everyone I’ve communicated with from Elkhorn is friendly and easy to work with, but special shoutout to Mark, Eric, Witney, and Kevin.
