Once again, the Sears technician saved the day with our dryer for the 2nd time in 3 months. However, the Sears Home Services product is terrible. In May we tried to get our dryer fixed and our order was assigned to a company that had gone out of business. Now that work order is stuck in an open state and we have to trick Sears Home Services into sending someone out by scheduling a "paid" visit and then forcing the tech to call the office and alter the visit to "covered by service plan". This has gone on for 3 months. Fix your systems and make a dryer that doesn't break every 2 months!!!!
Shawn did a great job with preventative maintenance on our furnace and hot water heater. He was very knowledgeable about the products and services offered by Sears.
My 76 year old mother bought dented dishwasher thought she paid in full $1200, but was ask to fill out paper work that would save more money, it was a lease that automatically charged her credit card for more than a year, she paid just over $2000 before we discovered what was done. Called Sears and talked to someone who saw what happened but when we came to talk to manager he claimed he need 3 weeks to find our file when someone else found it instantly on phone. He assured us he would call in 2 or 3 weeks, 4 months later no call . If we had not wondered about random autocharge on card that dented dishwasher would have cost $3400, if this wasn't meant to trap unsuspecting consumers, this would have been fixed, shame on Sears!!!! This review is apparently our only recourse.
