I was that person who had their furnace go out on Christmas eve. I messaged Thin Air on Christmas day hoping to get a response the day after. Donald messaged me back within an hour and had a tech out first thing the next day! It was time for a new furnace and they were able to get the job done that same week. Super happy with the service and professionalism of this team!

Our house wasn't getting hot and cold when we needed it too. Donald and Ryan evaluated what we needed, and upgraded our HVAC within a day. Their prices are fair compared to other HVAC quotes. Even after I originally plan to go for the most expensive option, Donald gave me his opinion on why that didn't fit my needs. I went for the price point below. I appreciate his honesty! We now have cool air for the summer and I'm very satisfied!

I had a big landscaping project that included temporarily unhooking, moving and then reinstalling my a/c unit. I called four different companies for quotes and two were outrageous. I had two companies come out and one of them was a big name. That one tried to convince me that it couldn't be done and the smartest thing would be to just buy a new unit from them for $14,000.

Thin Air was able to come out the day after I called them and they gave me a very fair estimate and was available to do the job later in the week which was well before my deadline. While here they explained everything in detail to include that I had a perfectly fine a/c that still had a lot of useful life. I asked for a cleaning while they were here and the final cost was a fraction of the other quotes just to move it.

The big company that tried to tell me that I had to buy a new unit is exactly why I don't trust a lot of repair/service companies. Thin Air was courteous, on time, stuck to the quote, didn't try to upsell anything and was the perfect company for my project. I have my trusted plumber, electrician and mechanic and now I have an HVAC company I can add to that list. I'm happy I found people with integrity.

Thin Air has helped us out with furnaces on a few occasions and I am always impressed with Donald's willingness and ability to get us fit into busy his schedule on short notice. This week during the cold snap, we had a furnace stop working. We were so happy we called Thin Air because they responded to our early morning phone call quickly and were able to send Ryan out to get our heat working again right away, before tackling his day's schedule. Great guys!

Only putting one start because I can not put zero stars. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Donald came out to look at our system after the a/c would not turn on. He swapped out a fuse. And then told us it was a bad motor and recommended we get a whole new system for $13,000. We asked if it could be the start capacitor. He ignored that and told us again, “it’s a bad motor”. We called another company the next day, they came out, swapped out the start capacitor and we have a running system and cool home for less than $175.
The next day, we told Donald it was the starter cap and he says “Never seen that be just the start capacitor but that’s good news.” He told us he has 30 years experience and he’s NEVER seen this issue before??

A few days later, we get an invoice from Donald for $165 for switching out a single fuse and trying to sell us a new system. In the invoice he wrote “needs new motor”

They will just try to sell you a new system instead of actually helping you. STAY AWAY.

I needed my dryer serviced (it stopped heating up) in one of the worst times....the break between Christmas and New Years..lol. I reached out to a few different Appliance Repair companies, and Thin Air was the first to respond. They were able to accommodate me the very next day. The team was very personable and intelligent. They were able to resolve my issue within 30-45 minutes. They were very COVID conscious, which I appreciated a great deal. The price for the parts were a bit high, but it does come with a warranty. I'll definitely work with this company again.

INTEGRITY, COMPASSION, AND OUTSTANDING SERVICE!

Myself, my wife, and our 2 baby girls woke up Monday morning to a freezing house and no heat. I couldn't get ahold of anyone accept for Thin Air at 5am. I told Donald about our situation and he showed up quickly with compassion and ready to help. He diligently took his time seeing what was wrong with our furnace. He then told us what was required and recommended replacing our furnace rather than repairing it with it being 18 years old. This is the last thing we wanted to hear after bringing home a newborn a month ago. Donald was honest and is a man of integrity. I had no doubt that he was the one to go with. He told us to take our time and get a couple more estimates and to do what was smart for our family. After a couple hours of trying to get estimates, Donald came in significantly lower than the competition and the care that we got from Thin Air was worth tremendous value even if the competition was close. We knew we'd be taken care of and we were. In a time of financial fear, Donald made what seemed to be a tragedy, a peaceful process with great equipment we can rest assured with. We highly recommend Thin Air Heating & Cooling!

Hi all! Just want to recommend Thin Air Appliance & HVAC Repair, whom I found with great reviews on Thumbtack. Our dryer completely stopped working and we needed a quick repair. Although I contacted them last night, Donald, the owner, fit us into the schedule and sent Ryan, the repairman, over this afternoon. I had tried everything to check the dryer - reset the circuit breaker, unplugged and re-plugged the dryer, tested it many times - nothing. As soon as Ryan arrived (on time, by the way - with a call beforehand to let us know he'd be here in 20 minutes), he turned on the dryer and it worked! Now that's what I call service!! Ryan said this has happened to him several times this week, so I have dubbed him "The Appliance Whisperer"! So worth the trip charge, which, if the dryer stops again soon, will be waived next time it needs repair. In addition, Ryan wore a mask and I provided booties and gloves, which is graciously wore as well. Highly recommend!

Be extra cautious! I used Thin Air 2 years ago, no issues. I hired them again for two other projects.  One of them was done quickly.  The second project has been outstanding with work half done for 5 months.  They took the money and decided not to finish the job. Each time I called, Donald has a different excuse.-my work vehicle broke down-my wife left me-my dad is really sick, I am sick and I just got out of the hospital.-my wife took my kids, I am going through a hard time.-its on my schedule, we will be out there to finish it up Sunday (this occurred twice).-in a text, his daughter said Donald was in the hospital but will surely get the crew to finish up.......
At this point, I do not believe anything they have to say.  The court will have to resolve this.

Thin Air Appliance & HVAC Repair is excellent! I contacted them to assess my furnace, AC & water heater. Dominik promptly came and inspected all three devices, and explained my options. They provided a very reasonable quote and we moved forward. Installation went as-planned and they promise to follow-up on the AC function, when the temperatures are higher. This company was highly rated on Thumbtack and I have been very pleased with their price, service and quality.

Our furnace stopped working on a cold day and Ryan came out within 1 hour of calling. He was extremely professional and helpful, able to diagnose what was going on and temporarily fix our system at a very fair cost as well as consult on future updates we should make. We would definitely work with them again and recommend them for anyone with HVAC needs

I really liked Donald and respected his knowledge when he came to our house on a Saturday to evaluate our furnace after duct cleaners had messed it up. He came immediately, and his fee was fair. Unfortunately he ghosted me after that. We set up several days for him to come and get our humidifier running and install a valve on it, but he was a no show each day. When I called him, he was very apologetic, but still was a no show. I wish he had just told me he’s just too busy so I could have scheduled someone else for the humidifier.

We first used Thin Air after we'd been absolutely swindled by another HVAC company. From the jump Donald was honest, did awesome work and saved us thousands.

Used now for multiple issues and it's always been consistent. It is such a relief to have someone we can trust. Couldn't recommend enough.

I called Thin Air Appliance when my oven door cracked in 2 places. Had never used them so didn't know what I was in for, but was pleasantly surprised when they got to my house. First of all they were very friendly, knowledgable and professional. They new exactly what to do, how long it would take and were very transparent about pricing and exactly what would be done. They were also very easy to make an appointment with, could come soon and at the hours I was available. The cherry on top of my great experience with this company was that these big guys loved and played with my cats. I was very pleased and would not hesitate using them again or recommending them to a friend. Thanks Thin Air!

I had the best experience. My AC was such an issue being so old and the first visit they spent an hour TRYING hard to repair the the unit over replacing but sadly it was 17+ years old and time to put it out to pasture. I had replaced my Evaporator Coil 6 years ago when my furnace was replaced but sadly it was not the greats brand and was leaking and causing issues. They didn't know until we were replacing AC this was an issue but again going above and beyond trying to REPAIR over replacing. Poor guys had to come out 3 times while trying to get this system hooked up and even had to go to Colorado Springs to get the replacement part. Working in 90+ heat and in a crawl space but it has been fixed and even with all the extra costs we ran into still cheaper than the other company who quoted me in 2018 to replace my AC with my furnace. I will definitely be using them for ALL my services/maintenance in the future and would recommend them to all my family and friends! A+ experience. Thank you so much guys!

If I could give 10 stars, I would. We were trying to install our new dishwasher as we have done countless times in houses we have renovated. We were stumped in the final steps. After too many hours of frustration, my husband finally agreed to let me call for help. Donald came just a couple hours after we chatted. It took some creative thinking but he and my husband finally solved our dilemma. Donald is a wise business man with fair prices and excellent service.

These professionals do the best work and I had five different people I’ve worked with in the past, and they are by far the best. They always find the most creative and most cost-effective solution while still having the units perform at their best I’m blown away by how good these guys are!

Donald was amazing! Not only was he super quick to get back to me, he came out the next morning and resolved the issue with my washer no problem. I was so pleased, I referred him to 2 people before I had even paid. Don't hesitate, this is the company to call for your appliance and AC repair needs.

Doug was our service tech for our furnace maintenance. As he’s always been prior, he was respectful and kind while in our home, and even gave our attention loving pups the extra pets that they love! He did what was needed to maintain our furnace, and then thoroughly recommended a couple of things that needed some extra TLC but was not pushy and said he was happy to send the quote via email so we could decide when we had more time to look. I appreciate that type of customer service.

We have been customers of Service Experts for quite a few years now. We had to get a new air conditioner a few years ago. We generally always have good service, but Luke and Lawrence were especially good and professional. They showed up right away (we had a tight window we could have service). They endured our attic and crawling to our filter incredibly well. But they also took the took the time to level out our air conditioning unit in our backyard that was sinking in the mulch. We appreciate them taking the extra steps without being asked so we don’t have to think about our air conditioning unit, we just get to use it. They were also kind and funny, which makes the process more pleasant. Thank you!

Service Experts installed my furnace and AC units in December 2019. The systems continue to run beautifully in all this time. Doug came out today to figure out why my ac would not turn on. I thought it was a simple issue with the thermostat, but he found the breaker was not hooked up properly when my electrical panel was upgraded! He was very thorough and completely honest about everything. I highly recommend this service technician and this company
