Great contractors are extremely hard to come by in South Florida. Communication is key and John at Elite AC was quick to respond when I needed my AC replaced. I am in the real estate business so I know a good contractor when I see one. When future clients of mine need HVAC work done John will be my go to guy. A true professional!

I got John's info from a neighbor on Next Door. We knew both of our A/C units were on their last legs. He came over immediately to check them both out and was very honest with us letting us know that we needed to replace them. He was also able to determine that the units we had were not the right size for the areas they covered. So he got the original plans from the city to see what size units were originally in the house. So we went along with his recommendation. The job was not an easy one for him because of the way our system is. It literally took him and his coworker, 12 hours the first day and another 4 hours the second day to get the system in. He went above and beyond for us! No only was he the most resonably priced, but also the most knowledgeable on what needed to be done. It's been two days now and we just cannot get over how amazing and comfortable our home is. We went with the American Standard. Will be using him from now on and also referring him to my own customers in my business. Thank You John!!!

If you need a quality air conditioning company, you’ve found one here. They respond like you’re their only customer and fit you into their busy schedule. They did a great and professional complete install (in condo) in about 4.5 hours at one unit. The next day another unit I have had a leak from the drain, I called and they came out in a couple of hours even though I told them it wasn’t an emergency. Fixed the problem and explaining why the unit was leaking. This is the company to use when needing your AC repaired or installed. Never mind their pricing beat everyone else I called.

My wife and I bought a home recently. However the air conditioning had issues we kind of knew about but didn't know the extent of it. I reached out to Elite Air Services and John was able to accommodate me into his schedule with ease. He came out and was able to diagnose the issue within 10 minutes of being at our home. I hate writing negative reviews, but John/Elite Air is impossible to contact these days. They have either gone out of business or are too busy to return paying customer calls. Nobody answers and there's no follow up to messages. Either way, it's painful if you need service -- even if you are willing to be patient. Anyone know what's going on? Happy to revise my post if someone can explain what's happening.

When John installed our brand new AC unit 18 months ago, I was extremely pleased. I even referred 2 friends to him (although neither used him- lucky for them ). Since that time, he’s been a huge disappointment. I’ve experienced 2 problems in these 18 months and John is not very responsive nor really does not seem interested in follow up. One can only assume that new business is all he cares about. Will simply move on as there are a zillion other AC companies out there. Will definitely never recommend him again.

My thermostat broke and I have the Nest thermometer. It gave me some error code. I posted the picture of the code on Thumbtack and additional information about my problem. I also posted on Yelp. They were the only company to call me directly instead of a message.

He knew my problem right away and I did not have to explain what was wrong. The technician came within the timeframe the person on the phone told me. When he arrived he quickly went to work.

He pointed out what was wrong and some other things that needed to be done to have my AC up to par. He also installed a weird fitting filter that I thought needed a different size.

The price was right also!

Prime A/C is a rare gem in this industry. They are professional, knowledgeable, honest, and trustworthy. They've always been on time to my appointments. Best of all, the pricing is extremely fair which is a rarity in South Florida where it seems most other A/C companies attempt to rip you off at every possible turn. For example, where Lindstrom Air wanted $300 to replace a contactor relay (which only costs $20 for the part and takes 5 minutes to replace), Prime A/C did it for a fraction of that price. They also consider the little details like wearing shoe covers inside your house. I recommend Prime A/C to all of my friends.
