Andrew was all business, troubleshooting possible causes, consulting with a supervisor, before determining that the temperature sensor had gone out. He quickly replaced it and had the fridge up and running in no time. Andrew even texted me that evening to see if the temperature was down to normal. Nice touch. The part is guaranteed for a year, all for a fair price. Yes, it was several hundred dollars, but I consider that reasonable for the training and expertise of the technician, even though the part itself not expensive.
