Our clothes washer started making "coming apart" sounds while running. Contacted James Appliance Repair. The technician asked the make and the age of the washer. He then asked to hear the washer running over the phone. The Technician then advised me that the washer was not worth repairing and his inspecting the machine would be my wasting $75.00. Professional and genuine integrity! We are saving James Appliance Repair's web site's URL. They are the appliance repair company that we will consider first if such a service is required in the future.

I never had a worst experience with an appliance repair company before. James came to my house installed icemaker and left. Unfortunately the icemaker was defective and did not function properly. I made another appointment for him to come again which he stood me up did not show up at all. The next day he came back with a second icemaker supposedly brand new installed it, It worked for one day and then malfunctioned not working at all, I called him upset he said we would return my money rather than come again then changed his mind so where it stands now I do not have a working icemaker and I’m out $218. If you want to be aggravated a death call James, I would not recommend him.

James absolutely made our day! Our GE Refrigerator failed on our tenant the day that they were expecting guests. Every other place I called was an automated system that wanted a million details and to schedule an appointment a week from now with no one to talk to. James answered his phone and he was busy, fitting us in was pure customer service and we were first time customers, He came, he saw, he conquered :-) He made time to swing by and take a look so our tenant wouldn't feel left totally high and dry over the weekend...I still expected a part to be ordered and the fixing to be delayed, but I really appreciated his stopping by to show our tenants we cared about their plight. It turned out to be something he could get a part locally for and he went ahead and fixed it same day. James just made our favorite vendor list. I believe he will do whatever he can to help and I'll get to talk to him when I call. I was also pleased with the cost, seemed very reasonable.

Excellent service/repair, very reasonably priced, and honest!! I called James late on a Friday night to repair a refrigerator for my tenants. He came out right away and called me to tell me that while he could temporarily fix the problem, he didn't want to put me in the position of taking my money on repeat business for the same or similar problem. He advised me to buy a new refrigerator which I did. My tenants couldn't say enough nice things about James' professionalism, promptness, and courteousness. I will definitely use him for any and all future appliance, electrical, or plumbing needs. He's a rare find--honest, knowledgeable, and priced right. As long as he's in business he'll get my business!

Wow, what exemplary service I just received by James. I called him early this morning to let him know that my washer stopped spinning. I told him that I was only here in town for two more days and he told me that this schedule was full and that he wouldn't be able to get to me before my departure. He soon called back to tell me that he would try to fit me in. Well, two hours later, he not only called, but he fixed my washer. He was so very professional and spot on with my needs. I called James to help with a stove repair. I am out of the country and I was relying on him to help with a broken stove. He was quick to respond and very professional. He helped me trouble shoot the problem via text and over the phone. In the end, he advised me that he was not able to get parts for my stove and suggested I purchase a new one. He did not waste my money and his time with a service call. He was honest and I appreciated that. I will certainly recommend him to anyone!!! Thank you James.

James showed up to my home for a dryer repair. I’ve used him before and everything was fine. This morning when he arrived I was not home but someone was due to my appointment with him. He called saying he was outside and automatically said “y’all need to put the dog up” due to hearing our house dog barking to alert us that someone’s outside . He didn’t step foot into the home to see the dog was already in the cage. James stayed all of 1-2 minutes doing absolutely no work because there was “laundry “ in the laundry room that we had no problem moving for him to work . He left saying he’ll come back another day . After he left I contacted him to see what was the issue & he did not answer . This was unprofessional & we won’t use him again!

I booked an appointment on James Appliance Repair’s website and received a confirmation. I planned my week around being at home on the day of the repair. the night before the repair I received a text asking me to confirm the appointment which I did. Anout a half hour before the appointed time, I got a phone call from James berating me for not reading the information on his website carefully enough to realize that he does not service Sanibel where I live. I pointed out to him that he should not have made the appointment and then confirmed it if it was not within his service area. He continued to be very angry with me, blaming me for not reading his website carefully enough, then texted me a screenshot of his website showing the areas that he does service which do not include Sanibel. To treat a potential customer in such a way is extremely unprofessional, and reflects on the kind of business person that James is.

When I described what was happening with my washer, James knew exactly what was wrong with it. He made sure he had the part before showing up and he showed up on the scheduled day/time. He fixed the washer in no time and charged a very reasonable price. I can't recommend this guy highly enough!

After learning that the refrigerator in our Florida condo was not working following Hurricane Ian I was desperate to get it repaired. Friends were planning to use our condo because their Sanibel home had been severely damaged. I called James Appliance Repair and was told that he could stop by as soon as he finished the call he was on. My next communication from him was that he was at my condo and had fixed the problem. Problem discovered and solved within 2 hours. Great job. Many thanks.

James is the best! Saved me in the clinch. Dryer died, and he was able to get to me within 24 hours. He is great with communication, did the job as promised, charged very reasonable rate, and cares about his work. SO GRATEFUL to find a guy like him and a trustworthy company here in Ft Myers. I recommend him to my friends, family, and neighbors.

Wow! James it was such a pleasure doing business with you. My washer stopped working so like any other person I’m on google and YouTube trying to diagnose the issue myself. I could have sworn my washer motor had died and was preparing to pay big bucks right before the holidays. James came and in less than 15minutes explained the issue and it was fixed within 30minutes. Let’s just say this guy knows his stuff and my washer motor wasn’t the issue at all, he saved me time and money! I will definitely call James in the future for my appliance repair needs. 😁

Let me just say that this man is an absolute sweetheart. Not only was he polite and punctual, he was an absolute delight to work with. My husband had broken a part in our freezer and my daughter had found James Appliance Repair to help. She explained that he had called, sent text updates on his arrival and to confirm, and he was even EARLY to arrive. I heard her talk to him while they were discussing the issues in the freezer and I couldn't believe how easy it was for them to fix the issue. He had mentioned that he could squeeze her into an appointment for the 23 of December (Christmas week of all weeks!) and my daughter thought that he meant to get the part in (not to install it). No, he was only squeezing her in JUST IN CASE he couldn't get the part earlier because he was able to get it the SAME DAY and INSTALL IT THE SAME DAY. He called her to tell her a few times but she missed it due to some classes she was teaching, but I managed to call back and he STILL came. He was even apologetic about calling! I have never NEVER had such wonderful service! I will be using him again and so will my family and friends WITHOUT A DOUBT.

James couldn't repair the refrigerator (bottom). Instead he broke the freezer (top). He sent me an invoice via text message to pay for the service. When I went online and paid using the ACH payment method available on his website, he got mad and started to curse. Apparently he doesn't like to be paid that way. I, then, told him to remove this option on his website. He would not come to my house to look at the fridge again. He charged me close to $300. James has no business ethics and no respect for people. If everything went well with you with James, you got lucky.

This is a gentleman I will be calling anytime I need work done at my house. Quick response time friendly and just all around great service I would recommend him hands down

I called James Alliance Repair when my oven stopped working, and he helped fix it almost immediately! He quickly knew what the issue was, and quickly ordered a new control board! It works great now, maybe even better than before! James is a very nice, professional and experienced appliance repairman! I highly recommend him for your appliance repairs! 5* job!

First he answered the phone late at night when I called about a repair to my dryer, talked me through how to book with him, asked me details about the make and model to ensure he brought all the right parts. Came on time, repair made as need in a timely manner for a reasonable price. I appreciate James and will be using him again.

I was extremely pleased in the communication, dependability and service that James Appliance provided in repairing my refrigerator. It was very convenient using their appointment system on line, and as said - there was consistent communication on the order, work to be scheduled and appointment. Quite satisfied in the technical qualifications as well. He quickly diagnosed the problems, coordinated the new parts needed and got me up and running.

James called before my appointment to discuss the problems with my dryer. He said I was better off cancelling his service call. “Save my cost and put it towards a new unit”. I admire that integrity.

I chose James Appliance based on the Great Reviews online. He was the perfect choice, very responsive and kept me informed. (Way more responsive than GE Repair -who I refused to use). My 91 year old mother was having trouble with her washer, James was Great working with this Very Senior Citizen. I would highly recommend James Appliance for any appliance issues.

James was exactly on time for my freezer repair. He diagnosed it immediately and it was fixed within 15 minutes. He stayed until the freezer temperature dropped to 10 deg F, even though he knew it was fixed. He also had all the parts. I highly recommend James, very efficient, knowledgeable and super nice. His prices are exceptionally reasonable.
