Not sure where to begin, James and team have been a fantastic partner over the past several years to me personally (full home remodel and redesign) and the support they provided our Condominium Association (Construction Consulting). Whether it's their expertise or problem solving skills for emerging construction related issues, or the full sweet of custom design and remodeling services that he and his team manage from beginning to end. I always knew we were in good hands when we called Stratum. Previous experiences with other GCs and Subs pale in comparison to the level of service we received, all projects were professionally managed, included daily status updates, regular progress summaries and detailed invoices. If an issue did come up, James and team would jump in and provide proactive solutions. They virtually eliminated all headaches, and always came within budget and in most cases would finish way ahead of schedule. Not sure why anyone wouldn't want to work with these guys, I know I won't look anywhere else.

James Smithson and his team at Stratum Contracting is nothing short of magcians what they do onthere dsign build out projects! I am in the lending indusrty and have had multiple clients renovate and build out tenant spaces for residential vacation homes. As people shop around for contrractors they always end up back at Stratum because of there creativity and craftmanship. I have seen them convert a normal back yard into a tropical paradise fit for a 5 star resort. Do not do any home renovations or projects without reaching out to these guys first for a design write and bid!!!!

Stratum helped bring our exterior remodel to life in a late 70’s beach house with a new expanded driveway, updated gables and entryway, eaves and an outdoor kitchen. The team was creative, worked to bring our vision to life and didn’t miss a single detail to make our design pop. The on-site staff was always professional and courtesy. The men were working out here in Glen Saint Mary Fl. I stopped to ask them a couple questions. Wow I cannot believe they were so nice and helpful. Most the time construction people don't want to stop and talk to you. He answered all my questions. You never know who you're speaking to. You could hurt the business or bring a lot of customers to the business. Thank you for being such a polite man. I wish I'd have got his name.

We were hired by a contractor of theirs David Melnik to clean. My cleaners worked two days at a hotel that they’re building and we were not paid for any of the labor despite providing proof we did the work. I’ve made a police report, filed a lien. It’s just wrong there are many people who will not be behind on bills because we were scammed by a contractor
