Appliance Repair reviews in Orlando, Florida

This was the worst experience I have ever had with a repair company….the technician was not the problem….he works for the company and can only do what is instructed…..The rating given was not for the technician (he was great) but for the company…..The request to have the AC repaired was placed the first of July after several no shows, reschedules and many calls to the company (Good luck discussing any issue with them. You will talk to an overseas customer service rep who will pass your message on to someone with no response or follow up calls) a repair tech finally showed up a month and a half later… This was the worst customer service ever…I was warned not to contract this company but I had a contract with them several years ago and got really good service….what a mistake I made not following the advice given… the unit is still not work properly…The next step is to call the Better Business Bureau and hire an attorney….
I would not recommend this company to anyone ever…. -
Jarrod was a gem, very professional. Explained and when over everything he looked at and tested. He was truly exceptional. Thank you, Sear's for sending Jarrod to repair my A/C system. It was a pleasure

Service Tech Victor tightened a few things to try to get rid of the banging noises the washing machine makes as it adjitates to clean the clothes. The noise is not as loud now , but I think it should be much quieter like it originally was. I don't know what Sears is going to do for me to make me satisfied.

Emmanuel was an excellent technician who got the repair on our microwave done quickly and efficiently. He was courteous and helpful. The Sears phone service, however, is atrocious. It is impossible to get through to a person when the problem doesn’t fit one of your categories.

The technician was friendly and polite. He checked the washer thoroughly and made adjustments as needed. He educated me on the best ways to take care of the washer and the best detergents to use. In all, I am very happy with the experience.

Chelsea G was good but unfortunately, she’s not able to fix my unit because it’s still under warranty. She replaced the capacitor though and she’s very nice. She is very recommendable!

Every employee should be as hard working and efficient as Audrey. She went above and beyond. She made the visit pleasurable. If I could have tipped, I would have. Send her to my house ANY TIME.

Enrique was fantastic. Very courteous and professional. Assessed the problem and solved it. In no time my refrigerator and freezer doors were both aligned and back to normal. Thank you.

The service man was so professional and knowledgeable and solved the problem in a timely manner.

This has been absolutely worst experience ever. We have had the washer for 13 months, haven't been able to use it for 5 months. After numerous service men came to repair, and did absolutely nothing, we did finally get Dennis that fixed the issue that previous servicemen said nothing was wrong. However I am still not satisfied, my 13 month old washer is so rusted it will not last my 5 year warranty. Sears will do nothing to change this out. We spent the money on the washer, then the additional 5 year warranty and of course the added expense of going to the laundromat twice a week for 5 months. This is not including any gas or labor that I had to spend. Where Sears used to be the best in the business - now all they want is your money. This explains why Sears is going out of business.

Sears repairs was contacted in February for stove repair. Serviceman came, needed to order part, paid for part, part no longer available. Bought new stove, called to inquire on refund three different times was assured each time it would be 14 days, still waiting for my refund nearly 60 days later! Will not do business with them ever again.

The serviceman did not address the issue. My handyman maintains our ac. The problem that needs to be addressed is the 5amp fuse that burns out way too quickly, and that is what needs to be addressed.

My 2 year old GE front loading washing machine stopped draining water. I immediately started trying to find a repair man who could come out right away to fix the problem. I called Sears appliance repair and they stated they could come out the next morning. The repair man arrived just after 7:00 am and I told him that my GE washer stopped draining water the day before. This man had not even touched the machine yet and he started saying that GE washing machines are known for having the motor burn out which in turn usually affects the electrical system and it costs between $600 and $700 to fix. He proceeded to drain the water with a shop vac and then he accessed the filter in the bottom right hand side which was clean. He reached inside this area with a long tweezer looking tool and immediately said the machine motor was broken. He needed to look up the part but he could not get a good signal on his cell phone so he left and drove about a mile down the road. He called me within minutes and said the motor, parts and labor would cost $593 or he could lower the price to $340 if I signed up for a one year service plan through Sears for $62 a month. I did not feel comfortable with this gentleman. While he left I found out through the store where the washer was purchased that the motor has a 10 year warranty. I called the service main to inform him of this and he said I would need to call GE to have a new motor sent to my home. I advised him that I had a hard time believing the motor was broken since the machine is only 2 years old. He immediately became defensive and said if I wasn’t going to go through with the repair I would need to pay the service fee of $119 for diagnosing the problem and he immediately sent an invoice via text. When the invoice wasn’t paid within an hour this man started calling my phone repeatedly and leaving messages that said if I didn’t pay right away he would send the invoice to collections!!!
I called the store where the washer was purchased but they have a 2 week wait for repairs. They did however recommend someone who they highly trust for repairs. My husband contacted this man and he came to our home within the hour. He quickly diagnosed the problem as a faulty pump motor, NOT the overall motor. He also said they only way to diagnose that problem is to take a part of the machine which the serviceman from Sears never did. The new repair man had the machine fixed and reassembled within 40 minutes and the total cost for parts and labor was $250, a huge difference from $593 that Sears quoted .
I continue to get automated messages from Sears asking me to call immediately to pay the $119 invoice. I believe it is absurd to pay $119 for an INCORRECT diagnosis. Furthermore, it is extremely unprofessional for this man to literally blow up my phone and leaving threatening messages that the invoice will be sent to collections. This is not how a reputable company does business!! -
Technician trashed Sears saying they are a money scam for parts. Doesn't show up with parts after I sent the model number through the process. Technician said maybe another Technician has the parts but they'll inflate the price like Sears does. Total scam. Never again.
-
The tech said it was fixed. It is not it is still throwing the same code. We have been without a washing machine for over a week and now heading in to the holidays we still do not have a working washing machine. I attempted to contact the tech and he has not returned my texts or phone calls. Disappointed is not tye word I'm looking for.

I called Sears appliance repair for a repair on my LG washer there was a crack on the tub. It took 5days to get a tech and their window is from 8 to 5pm. I already took a picture of the back of the washer to show the tech he just walked in and saw the picture and gave me a bill of close to $1500 dollars obviously I couldn't afford it so I asked if I can do a partial deposit in which the tech agreed so I paid $588 and when the parts came in i would pay the rest. Well, my husband came home and sad that was too expensive. So, I proceeded to cancel the follow up appointment and ask for my deposit minus the initial service fee which was $120. This continued a daily call to sears call center to what i assumed is a call center in India. These people love to give the run around. They kept telling me the refund will be credit back to my card in 24hrs then it wouldn't happen and I would call again and then a promise of 48hrs or they would transfer me to another department that would be a dead end. Still waiting 2 1/2 months later and still no refund. I never got the repair or the parts I ended up calling up LG who has a flat rate of repair for $412 with tax and they did the service call within 3 days and the tech came on a Friday I was his last call and fixed my machine. And Sears still waiting on my refund, Again no parts were sent to my house and no work was done on my washer. Their customer service is terrible I would never recommend this company to anyone.
