$308 just to knock on your door and another $9 to pay by credit card. Not worth all that.

Had an issue with my refrigerator, had a few people look at it and try to tell me it was something really expensive. Coastline actually fixed it and was very affordable. Great customer service , all in all I had a great experience. Would def use them again .

Make sure you read everything on the form! I take ownership for not reading everything but when filling out the new costumer form I saw the top of the page and company information only to not scroll down to see they charge you $140 to just come to your house plus a mileage charge on driving to your home! Keep in mind that is already on top of the labor to complete the service. After they initially came out they had to order the part and come back a second time. Now that’s $140x2 plus mileage each time. Over half my bill was the company coming to my house! The company overall fixed the issue (after a week delay from sending the part to the wrong location) and called to confirm completion because I was not home. I have used many technicians in the past but this was the first time I’ve been charged for their convenience driving to my home.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Their tech comes to my location and is on the phone 100 percent of the time. Never once reaching out to myself the general manager of the location. He apparently couldn't figure out the drainage system and decided to not ask for our help to put it back together instead he cut pipes and mangled the drain area on my unit and after 4 attempts to get someone out to fix the water that now dumps all over the floor and being ignored I am resorting to letting the world know now how these guys conduct business with another business. Appalling to say the least. I have called and asked for supervisors and any one to help and have not even received a call from a tech let alone a supervisor when this guy decided to become a plumber rather then a service tech. The drainage system also was never the problem but now is a big issue one they refuse to come and correct.

There's a reason why this company has a 3.6 star review. And every review before me was a 1 star. It's not because people have liked their service, I can assure you that.

Had warranty work that had to be done, contracted out to Coastline Cooling (CC). Manufacturer of my heat pump, assigned Coastline Cooling (CC) to do work. Called many times over 3 months CC never returned any (zero) of my calls. Only way to contact them was, that I called a few times a week and sometimes get an Service Operator who kept saying she would forward the info to service department. After complaining she put me through to service. Service sent a rep out (after 2 weeks) to check out my heat pump. Service said he needed to write up a report and submit it to the Manufacturer to see if they would approve warranty work. Another 2 weeks not response. Again, finally, Operator put me through to service. Service ask for some photos of Down the Line (DTL) equipment. I emailed them, never heard back. After a few calls and left messages I got the Operator and was put through to Service. Service rep said the warranty work was approved but it would take a few weeks to get the part. A few weeks later I called (again messages left, no response, only way I got to talk to service is if I was lucky enough to actually get an operator that would transfer my call to service. If I got voice mail and left a detailed message Never, Never did I get a call back. If the operator said she would forward my message to service, guess what, service never called back. Don't even know why they have an message machine. So finally got ahold of service for this go around (now close to 3 months since I was told to contact CC) and the service tech said the Manufacturer would not approve warranty work. To Coastline Cooling the case was closed, unless I wanted to pay for repairs (WHAT JUST A FEW WEEKS EARLIER THE TECH SAID IT "WAS" APPROVED" no one at CC ever contacted me to say it wasn't. So I called the Manufacturer who said because of CC's report the heat pump was no warrantied due to a Down the Line (DTL) part that was out of specs. So I sent the same pics I sent to CC of the part in question. Manufacturer got back with me (Manufacturer actually returned my calls) and said, that from the photos, the part looked like it was within specs. Then the Manufacturer said to have CC resubmit their evaluation showing the photo and update their report. So I called CC and said same. CC said they needed a request to update the report from the Manufacturer before they would do so. Called Manufacturer back which said to have CC just resubmit an updated report. WOW Catch 22. Left had not talking to the Right hand and both want me to be the go between. Called CC back and they basically said the case was closed. Called Manufacturer back and at this point, the Manufacturer sent out a rep who verified my unit as under warranty and Manufacturer's rep repaired the unit, after over 3 months. CC NEVER called me to tell me that the original report was denied by the Manufacturer, in fact said it WAS APPROVED but they were waiting for a part. Coastline Cooling (CC) Never returned any messages, Never kept me up to date, or in the loop, of ongoing problems or interface with Manufacturer. To me basically dropped the ball and wasted over 3 months of my time in return for nothing.

Updated Aug 16.
Finally did connect with management and explained my experience and frustration with communication. They reviewed all of the elements listed below and understood that I would not have moved forward with the first repair had I had the 2nd diagostic result and the much higher estimate to begin with. We worked out a fair deal, which I appreciate immensely. Obviously talkiing to the wrong people at the start. I want to believe they are addressing that problem. Wanted to post this update to be fair with them. Some elements of my original review have been removed.
Original posting.
Zero stars on customer service, and their billing practices are highly questionable. Agreed to pay the quoted $145 initial visit to diagnose problem, but that turned into $300+ once they added labor. Diagnosed problem, ordered part plus I added a new seal - another $700 (including another $145 travel). Sensor installed, but tech left before fridge completely cooled back up. Never did cool down and following day Error Message again on display. Sent another team to diagnose - this time they come up with a completely different problem - estimate comes in around $2500. So I am $1k out of pocket - still no fridge - and a new estimate for $2500 to potentially fix 10-yr old unit. I would not have added a new seal ($250) if the first diagnosis was right and would have cut my losses at the $300 and go buy a new unit.
Have called office 3x. My wife has called once also. Always an excuse as to why someone is not available. The last attempt was the last straw. Called on a Monday morning - was told I needed to talk to Jimmy, but "he is really busy, so I am not sure if he will be able to call you back this week"!!!!! No time over 5 days to make a call for someone who has called 3 times because of a problem - that is the type of company this is. You will see this in other reviews as well.
Too bad - I like True refridgerators, but if they are the only authorized service company, I need to find a different brand. -
A bit expensive
