I have used First Response for the last 2 years. They installed the new AC and Ducts for my extension and upkeep & maintenance on my existing unit. Their office and crew is polite and fast. They take their time to explain what's going on no matter the silly question. Pricing is fair and they don't gouge you. As long as they are in business I won't go anywhere else.

Update: still using First Response and still happy with the wonderful service!!!

I’m so thankful for Matt’s help over the weekend! He walked me through troubleshooting an issue with my air conditioner over the phone—even though I purchased it from First Response Heating & Cooling a few years ago. Fun fact: Matt was actually the technician who came out when we had to replace our unit, so it was great to have his help again. Top-notch service then and now!

Another 5 star service from First Response. Cleaning up the mess of another company that did a sloppy install of an ac unit and air handler. The install team entertained my curiosity with the equipment install by explaining in a way I would understand. Their desire for a clean and proper install was shown through their attention to detail of the small things of the install such as not over spraying spray foam insulation, going above code to ensure cleanliness and functionality, and cleaning up the area better than when they arrived.

I had an excellent experience with First Response Heating & Cooling! Their team is professional, punctual, and extremely knowledgeable.
Matt is always friendly and takes the time to explain everything.

I would have to give this place 4/5 stars. I would give a 5/5 but there were a few things that happened that almost made me cancel them altogether. We called them out because our air stopped working. They responded very quickly. I love how quickly they came out on a Thursday evening. Kory responded and he was amazing! He told us what we already knew which was our whole unit needed replacing. He explained our options and told us a new one could be installed the next day. He even gave us portable units for the night. Kory was professional, knowledgeable and kind. If you need services from this place please ask for Kory. He’s the best!! Their prices seemed competitive for the area. We have a smaller home and got a 3 ton unit for about $6700.

We were quoted a time “late afternoon” Friday. By 3pm we hadn’t heard anything so I called the office and was told that there was an issue at an install that morning and they were delayed. He said he could get guys to us by 4 to start our unit. I then got a call at 4 saying they wanted to delay until morning due to the rain. We have a baby who didn’t sleep well with the portable air machine and so I asked them to still do it that night. The guys arrived to do the install and at first they had very bad attitudes about having to be there on a Friday night in the rain. This could’ve been avoided if management had been more transparent about the issues on the first job. If they had called me at noon and told me that we would be delayed until Saturday morning I could’ve made other plans to get a hotel or stay with family.

I had to ask one of the workers not to smoke cigarettes on my back porch with my door wide open as now my house smells like cigarette smoke and we have a baby with asthma. They also made a hole in my drywall, left my baseboards dirty and ripped one of my curtains. Which they never said anything about and I discovered the next morning. We also were not told about an inspection or any warranties that came with the unit. It was like they just slapped the unit in there, threw the paperwork on the table and left.

I would still use this company because they have serviced us before and done a great job. I love the quick response, the office staff and the texting communication. I am trying to be empathetic because I know it’s hard to find good labor these days but I was not impressed with the install job, the lack of communication with delays, or the damage to my home. I also was expecting one of the owners/ managers to come by and check to make sure the job was done well and that didn’t happen. My husband has worked in HVAC before and does manual labor now and said they definitely didn’t take pride in their work. They were throwing tools around, didn’t lay down any drop cloths, and the job just looks sloppy.

Again I would still recommend these guys but beware if you need an install- you will have to micromanage and do not expect Grade A customer service. But another company quoted us $8500 so I guess we got what we paid for.

Well First Response came out again today to replace my entire AC system. Matt and Bryan gave me a great deal on a premium set up to keep my house cool and safe from germs for years to come! Set things up on a Friday and they were out bright and early Monday to get the new system in place. Took about half a day, but now my house has a 'smart' system that uses UV lights to kill germs and the unit itself is bigger yet .ore efficient than the 10 years old system I replaced. Super happy with these guys and will definitely recommend them for any AC job big or small!

Bryan was quick to respond to my call on a Sunday afternoon. He was able to quickly diagnose the issue and had his team out the next day to get our old AC replaced with a new system and ductwork for our 79 year old home. I couldn't be more satisfied and would recommend his business to anyone needing HVAC services.

Good company. Great employees from the office to the field. The work was done in one day. They took care of all the paper work and cleaned up afterwards. They worked around our schedule to get the job done. People came in on a holiday to do the work. Very professional and did the job right the first time. Definitely having them do all my AC work.

Was able to have them come out almost immediately. We given a 4 hour window and he showed up within the first hour. Very friendly very professional and most of all “human” in the sense that he talked to me like a person and explained things to me as to what was happening and how to fix it. He was very thorough and did not cut corners. I felt confident and comfortable with his presence and his feedback. He educated me on the different types of air conditioners out there and how they operate. He explained what he used and why he uses this particular unit. I work with a few people that have used this company in the past and they have only had great things to say about their experiences. I will be using this company for all of my air conditioning needs from this point forward. It’s so nice to have an experience where you feel a little smarter afterwards. He took his time and answered all of my questions with informative answers and solutions to make my house as comfortable as it could be. Thank you so much. Brian and his team are great!!! He is honest, fair and explains everything well so you can understand what is going on with your system. He does not try to sell you something you do not need.
We have used them for several years now and have an annual service contract, something that is beneficial and reasonably priced. I highly recommend First Response Heating and Cooling if you need a new AC unit or just want to have you AC maintained well.

Just purchased a house that happen to have a First Response Heating & Coollng sticker on the unit. This means they were the original installers of this equipment.

Well, had something weird happened to one of the units which was probably power related due to the inconsistent grid power provided here in Florida.

I called up this company and they came out the next day and had it fixed for a very cheap price. In fact, the owner came out himself!

This place is amazing! We just bought this home. Our AC must have been a zombie because it was ancient and had NEVER been serviced. They had to use nitrogen to clean the system out. SO GROSS!! They replaced everything and weren't pushy at all. They gave us our options and let us decide what to do. Plus they did it quickly. We absolutely love our new AC unit! It's so quiet and works so well. The whole house smells better. The new unit even has a new concrete slab and they took the old one away. We highly recommend this company!!

First Response H&C was excellent. The combination of quality service, quality product and great pricing made going with First Response an easy choice.
