I came from clermont for generator repair on my class A bus. It was a hour and a half drive. I sent him pictures of my generator, and all relevant info of the parts I need, model number etc. He told me YES we have all parts on hand (fuel pump and supplies to tune it up) and said he can get it running same day since I'm coming from so far away.. We'll, when I got there he says why didn't you send me pictures? I said i did and he looked in his phone and said "oh my bad, yes you did, I was busy..." so he didn't have my parts. He tried to put on a aftermarket fuel pump that didn't provide enough fuel so the generator would idle out and would not stay running. Then he tried to put on a used bad carburetor that he had laying around and told me he wanted to try it out even though it was used.. Didn't work. Then he left out for 15 minutes and brought back the wrong oil filter. So all in all, after hours of waiting and sitting around all he did was change spark plugs and change oil. And the generator still doesn't run properly because he didn't have the carburetor or the fuel pump like he said he did. So I basically wasted 3 hours drive time with still no running generator. One thing he did do right was fix a bad connection on my tail light. That went well, but I could have got that done around the corner. Paid him 300.00 for the work, even though generator was never fixed. Just changed oil and plugs. Still not running. Wasted my time and gas.. was unprofessional at best.. incompetent and unprepared at worst.. no receipt for work, no invoice or anything.. After I finally got the right parts from amazon days later, then he says he's all tied up for a week and can't put them on for me! Why? Maybe because he was already paid for a job he didn't do... TERRIBLE! Hey folks there's better generator guys out there! I found one and he got me up and running with no problem.

Purchased what I thought was a dream from Craigslist, turned into a nightmare quickly. Stanley got me taken care of and the quality of the work and the end result was well worth it in the end. After getting my boat mid week, today I enjoyed the entire day on the water with no issues. Beautiful beginning to the summer!

Had Stanley come out to work on my generator last minute so we can take it out and he fixed the electrical short that was causing it not to idle properly. We were in a rush that day so he did a temp fix. Had him come out 2 days later and he rewired the bad connections and now it runs flawlessly with no issues. Highly recommend.

We had signed a contract to fix my boat's generator. I gave a downpayment, but the job never got done. Tried calling the company to see what was going on and to see if I was able to get my deposit back or get the new generator installed on the boat. However, I haven't gotten an answer from them.
My boat it's not fixed and they kept my deposit.

My 54' Hatteras needed some electrical work, so I contacted Wire boat, who was recommended to me by a friend. Spoke to Stanley and he said he would come out and take a look at the issues.
Stanley showed up early the next day and I explained to him the issues I was having, and he recommended the repairs I needed, fix some corroded wiring, upgraded panels and overhaul the generator...
They were very friendly and professional, the work was done quickly and within the time he said it would be done. The price was reasonable, especially for what was done and a full 1 year warranty on everything that was done.
I will only use wire boat and Stanley for all future work

They do fantastic work! Stanley has worked on multiple boats for me. Generators, Air Conditioning, Rewire, Electronics Installation...he even fixed my motorhome generator. Prompt, professional, freindly and they always clean up their mess and leave a well done finished job! Highly recommend them and will continue to do business with them as well as refer my friends to them.

This company operates without proper general liability insurance for their primary function - mechanical and electrical marine repair - yet they claimed to be “insured.” In actuality, the owner is insured for “tutoring services” only. Wire Boat’s work resulted in the total loss of our boat, as proven in a court of law, but with no recourse due to their lack of insurance for the type of work they performed. Buyer beware!

What a great company these guys did exactly what they said they would do. I didn’t have to go to the boat. I didn’t have to continue to check on them they replaced for ACs on my yacht and also fixed my generator that nobody else seem to have been able to do thanks to them my wife is very happy because the generator works again I would 100% recommend this company
