Had one of Bates best technicians sent to help diagnose a leaky TXV valve. He was punctual, knowledgeable, and super helpful. Definitely will be using their services again!

Had a great experience! The tech Ryan, came out for a quick service and ended up replacing the capacitor. Super friendly, fast, and explained everything clearly. AC is running perfectly now. Definitely recommend if you want someone who knows what they’re doing!

I can not say enough positives about Bates ac! I haven’t had too many good experiences with finding a company that follows through after their job is done. So after having my ac unit installed and had a horrible experience (not with Bates) I started to research and read reviews. I was very drawn to Bates as the owner replied to everyone personally! That to me is very important! So came home from work to a very hot house and it was 5:36 on a Friday. I called the office number just expecting to leave a message as it was the weekend. Steven answered and asked for the info on my unit and within two minutes I had a reply back! This was amazing to me as I had been waiting for weeks to find out if my unit was registered and under warranty. Good news was YES! He was ready to come out on Monday morning but have this thing called work that I had to tend to. So Tuesday morning he was here even before the time scheduled. He did a full diagnostic on the unit ordered the coil and also went above and beyond taking care of attention to detail that the other company lacked in doing. The coil took a few days but Steven made sure to reach out and keep me posted on the baby’s arrival. They came out and installed and even did more then what they should have! So glad I found Steven and his company! On a plan to have them service it now and my pup and I are back with our blankets watching hallmark channel. Definitely recommend this company! Have to say also that I was drawn to his company as he is a retired Marine Veteran. Attention to detail! Thank you Steven and your installer that worked so hard to make things right again.

They came out within 1-2 hours after I called, the tech was super knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Overall super happy with my experience and will definitely be using them again!

My AC unit went down called Bates. They came out. They gave me five options on fixing my unit, ranging from band aid to a full replacement. It’s nice to have options. We chose to go in the middle of the road and replaced the capacitor install a soft start kit and a UV light. Money well spent

Have to say I was pleased with getting my new 7 mo old unit replaced today. And to top it off I had the CEO Stephen Bates, here to help James with the install of my new 3 ton Trane A/C. Praying all goes well for the future of this unit. Stephen was instrumental in helping to get my new unit with the upgrade. As I have always stated The Bates team is awesome! Thank you.

While doing warranty service the tech realized that the manufacturer shipped the wrong part. He had disassembled the unit so the owner drove to Coco Beach to get the correct part. Because of this the repair took longer but it was better than reassembling the unit and wait for the correct part. I appreciated this service to finalize the repair. It works great now.

Thanks to Matt and Steve for making my project a reality. Sean and crew did an excellent job with my mini-split relocation projects. They showed up on time, were matriciously careful with the equipment being relocated. The reininstall A/C was carefully placed in the requested location. Finally, they checked to make sure everything worked correctly and then cleaned up after themselves. It's been a pleasure doing business with them. I give Bates Air and Heat 5 stars!

I have a brand-new a/c system installed by a Karibe the installation was so bad I didn't trust them to touch it. The a/c stopped working I contacted Morgan at Bates they were at my house with 1 hour, Josh was very pleasant, professional & replaced the incorrectly installed drain line, showed me before & after videos & pictures, I was so please with Bates I bought their top tier maintenance agreement to make sure I get the best service in Indian River County
