I was scheduled for a repair two weeks ago, the wrong part was ordered so I was rescheduled for a week later. On that day my power was out and I informed the tech when he called but he came anyway. The power came back on and not only did the new part not work, the whole dishwasher is now dead. I tried calling MULTIPLE times on Friday the 30th to no avail, finally got an answer and was told I would have to wait until Monday for service. I pushed back and was told he would ‘see what he could do’, after which, not only did not receive a call back but my calls were completely ignored for the rest of the day. GE should be ashamed of using this company.

This company is not customer service oriented. Technical and management team is afraid to actually "do the work" to fix problems. Workers does not like to actually do the work and get their hands dirty if the problem is not right in their faces and deemed as an easy fix. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone. Lazy people!

In addition, if my complaint is that the air conditioner isn't cooling properly-- it will blow cool air occasionally, then warm. Meaning, it may cool for 2-3 consecutive days, then release warm air 3-4 consecutive days hypothetically. My complaint is simple. Just because when the technician comes and its blowing cool air doesn't mean it is "working properly." I can't understand why is it so hard to run a diagnostic to figure out what is causing this type of functionality opposed to sending out technicians to come in to only put their hand in from of the vent and say, its blowing cool. This unit has been blowing warm air for 5 consecutive days now. As I mentioned, out of the TWO technicians that has came-- neither has conducted a diagnostic to figure out what is going wrong the reason the unit Isi functioning with an imbalance. Again, I will NOT recommend anyone to use this company!

The technician that came to my home by the name if Anthony Dantzler was very unprofessional. He gave the impression each time he came to my house that he didn't want to do the repair. The first time he came he walked in without tools. He was here to fix a washing machine so how could he do that without having any tools. Second time he came he found every reason to not do the repair. That was evident to everyone that was present at the house. Now I am going on 3 weeks without a washing machine. This is terrible customer service. Then I called today to speak with a supervisor and the lady by the name of Sofia can not enter the information into the system correctly.

So far the only experience with this company is from a woman named natalie calling out of Alabama from national platinum service. She has called around the same time every morning when I am asleep and missed her call. Leaves a message to call a number in TN she even texted me the information. Such poor communication. When I call back, nobody answers. I even sent messages to Natalie explaining I cannot reach anyone when I try and call back. She never responds to multiple texts asking what information she needs. Was awake this morning when she called again, answered and she wanted more information. Told her exactly what was on my service request that I supplied to GE. Then tells me to disregard the appoint I have today because she needs to let the tech know, and someone would call me back for a new appointment. So upset. This isn't the way to run your business.

I have been trying to get my brand new dishwasher fixed since the beginning of June of 2020. Dishwasher has never worked. This company is the company that GE sent out. They don't call to set up appointments, they do not keep the customer informed and have been out twice now and I still do not have a working dishwasher. This company is the absolute worst! This does apply to the one in Columbus, Georgia as they took over the service for my area! This company is the absolute worst! Don't let their replies to posts fool you because the only thing this company actually does is reply to bad reviews!

American Home Shield contracted National Platinum Services to fix my front load washing machine. Needless to say after about three visits, a big lie and having to wash my clothes elsewhere, my washing machine is still not fixed. A representative from National Platinum Services told another customer (Sandra Baxter, I think.) who complained about their services they don't service their area. Well their website states, "National Platinum Service is an AUTHORIZED Major Appliance repair service in GA, SC, NC, AL, TN, KY, OH and LA." I am in Georgia. Even when American Home Shield tries to contact National Platinum Services, there is no answer. A National Platinum Service representative lied and said he came to my home to fix said washing machine and we would not let him in our home and did not answer his call. On a separate scheduled repair visit, they cancelled the visit without contacting us. Based on the reviews I have read and my personal experiences, National Platinum Services is not capable of providing quality service and does not have qualified technicians to get the job done correctly. As of today, August 2, 2021, my washing machine is still not fixed and American Home Shield is still trying to reach them.

In response to "Response to Owner", I am glad to finally hear from you. Please give me a call so we can discuss this further. You have my number. I look forward to discussing this issue in detail.

Service repair technician was scheduled to come out 12/16/22 between 1pm-3pm to repair BRAND NEW WASHER. They did not call to let me know that they were on their way and finally showed up at 4:15. The repair tech did not have amy obvious identification and was completely unprofessional looking and acting, which made me apprehensive to answer the door not knowing who it was. The tech knocked on door and waited for about 2 minutes before walking back to his truck. I walked outside to see who it was (which was only about 2 minutes after he last knocked) and he was getting back in his truck. I waved him down, he got out and said "you need a washer repair??" And said it like I was bothering him. I said yes, let me put my dog upstairs and he smirked and laughed with a very aggressive tone "well how long is that going to take"? Mind you he was over an hour past the repair time frame and NEVER called to say he was on his way. I told him it will only take a minute to put dog up and he said "bye" and got into his truck and peeled out of the driveway, slinging gravel. Of course i called repair company, did not get in touch with anyone NOR did i receive a call back. I am utterly dumbfounded and can not put it into words how terrible this experience has been. This is the lowest form of customer service I have ever experienced.

It has been 23 days since LG transitioned me over to National Platinum Service to order and replace my compressor. Very polite on the first two calls during the first week, but now they will not answer my call or call me back. Even tried to cal Chattanooga rep to see if they could help. They tried, but said I need to work with the Knoxville office. Still no updates and no call back. Just called again today, nothing. This is worthless

After contacting LG, we were told a vendor would contact us to schedule an appointment. We received a call that same Friday afternoon from this company only to tell us they were closed, and if we called back, they would not be able to schedule an appointment till the following Monday. We called to schedule the appointment today Monday. First, the lady who answered wanted to scold us for not calling back on Friday. We told her the message specifically said National Platinum was closed and there was no need to call back until Monday. Then, this person continued with very little concern about our refrigerator problem and the scheduling of an appointment. She was very anxious to get rid of us, telling us to call our provider and get someone else. Very unprofessional! Cannot believe a business can stay open treating potential customers in this manner.

I have been trying to get a dishwasher fixed with them since January 15th 2021. I still do. It have a running dishwasher! They won’t call back, they don’t answer the phone. I have to say to guys that have come to my house 3 times now have been amazing while here. I firmly believe it’s the costumer service and lack of ability to order things the in a timely fashion. When this ordeal is over I will never again use there service for anything. I will do a updated review when I have a running working dishwasher.

Just wanted to share my experience as some of these reviews had me worried a bit but had no choice since this company is one my extended warranty place directed my ticket in order to get it fixed. I live in Augusta GA area so this is for the Columbus GA office.

I’ve called to get an appt and the person on the phone was nice, polite and took time to take all the details. We’ve setup a tech to show up 3 days out which was great and after the call I received a text to confirm appt and to send a photo of model number and serial number.

On a day of repair tech called me ahead to let me know he was on his way. Jacob S was my repair guy and he was very nice and professional as well. He knew exactly what’s wrong and brought the part with him which was outstanding as the washer has been down for almost 2 weeks so was hoping that it would be fixed and parts were not on back order. He spent maybe 30-40 minutes swapping the item underneath the washer and afterwards cleaned up the area.

Overall excellent service and very happy with both the phone and tech experience. My extended warranty expires this summer and should anything happen with the washer or dryer in the future I know NPS will be my first call to come out and repair.

    Thanks

I think this company was paid to tell me my appliance is fine. Sent by LG to ‘fix’ our from load washer (less than 6 months old) and Jay (the repairman) showed up and told us that using Tide pods is the problem! He then told LG that we weren’t using the washer properly. I’m 64 years old and have been washing clothes for over a half century! We’ve owned front loaders in the past. Our washer is a lemon and the tech from National Platinum Service was a rude human who did absolutely nothing to repair the washer! I do NOT recommend!!!!

American home shield contacted them to fix my freezer. The guy came out and looked and asked how long the issues was going on for and we told him about a week, so why on earth did he put that it was preexisting at time of purchase???? This caused by warranty to not cover it. The fridge worked totally fine at purchase!!!!
Also when he was done the freezer light stopped working. The light worked at time of service and when tech left light never came back on. Displeased

Three claims filed, three "repairs", still dishwasher still has same malfunction. If you're using Lowe's Protection Plan and repeatedly having the same issue, just escalate the matter.

I wish I could give Zero Stars! My washer repair was sent to National Platinum Service out of High Point, NC. That’s what the number comes up as. Very unprofessional! I had an appointment schedule for last Thursday from 1-3. I took an unscheduled day off from work.I am a Nurse and I loser $450 that day. The repairman never showed up. I made MULTIPLE calls, No one answered. I left Messages, No Response. I called my warranty company and they Escalated it. I received an email from the someone from The Amynta Group stating National Platinum Service has reached out to me and advised me of my appointment for today 9/27 from 12-3. MORE LIES. I NEVER spoke with anyone from NPS. I called NPS and explained the situation. No apology or anything. I pray their work is not like their customer service. NPS is Definitely Incompetence at its FINEST! Like I told the girl I spoke with today, I will be reporting NPS to the Better Business Bureau.

It’s been 14 days of me and my wife waiting for this company to come out. Once the part came in I had to call and remind them to put me on the schedule. When he got here with the heating element he put the part on and got in his vehicle to leave and the dryer wasn’t fixed. I was then told that he needs another part, but he did not tell me this when he left the first time. I was also asked as a woman to help him move the dryer. When I call customer service they offer an apology that they seem used to giving. The customer service rep told me that even though they know what part is needed they are not ordering it til tomorrow. Guess we will have to wait another two weeks!I’ve been waiting on a call from the manager for two weeks. I regret using American home shield because of this poor 3rd party service AWFUL. Stop telling me you don’t see me in the system. The account is in my wifes name. Smh my review sticks! Your service is horrible

First I want state that the only reason we used their repair service was because that is who Lowes assigned for our in-warranty repair of our refrigerator...

I also want to preface that this whole experience was over about a month to a month and a half span, from the first call to Lowes to the last call to NPS.

When Lowes first set the appointment, NPS called to let us know that they would not be out when Lowes said they would be because their Lead Technician would review the problems I gave them and determine which parts, if any would need to be ordered. Okay.... a week or two later still no call back to set up a repair appointment so I called and of course got their voicemail (we used the Birmingham location). A few days later I received a call back and was told that a technician would be out between 12-5pm. I said that was fine but asked for an hours notice as I have a 9 month old who takes 2 naps throughout the day. They assured me that was fine and made a note for the technician. Fast forward to the day of our appointment and I receive a call from the technician at 9am (I had just put my son down for his first nap) stating he could be there in 20 minutes and that he had a cancellation. I told him that would not work as I asked for an hour notice and was told between 12-5. He told me that he would have to bump me to the last stop of the day since he was now having to head the opposite direction. Okay... I then receive a call after 8:15pm from the technician stating he can be there 30 minutes. I did not answer that call and called back the next day to reschedule another appointment.

When I rescheduled I got the same time frame and made sure that it would actually be between 12-5pm. The technician that came out was very nice and pleasant. However, after he left I noticed a piece of our refrigerator was left on a shelf (neither my husband or I know where it goes). We waited a few days to see if the repair would fix our issue and since it did not, I called back to see about having them come back out. That call was about a week ago and I have still yet to receive a call back.

Needless to say I called Lowes and they have set us up with another repair company who can either repair the issue or recommend to Lowes that a replacement fridge is needed.

I am completely blown away at the lack of customer service of NPS. I understand its a warranty fix and we are not paying them directly but Lowes is covering the cost and even they are not getting a level of service they are paying for since they aren't actually fixing and issue they are being paid to fix.

AHS sent repair service to repair my dishwasher. Repairman did a temporary fix on my dishwasher that lasted long enough for me to be outside of the window (a little over a month) in which they would have to return without me paying another service fee charge. He actually said something was broker but did not order replacement part. Do not use this service!!!

In response to your reply. I contacted AHS immediately when my dishwasher stopped working again (about 1 1/2 month). I was told that in order for the technician to come back out, I would have to pay another service fee. (I no longer have AHS).

On 1/19/23, They stated that they were ordering parts for my Samsung dryer and that it would take 3-5 business days. I have left multiple voicemails requesting an update on my part delivery. I even contacted Lowes warranty department and they "escalated" the issue... but here I am still without anyone reaching out to me.

    *My Military Family beware*

My washer stopped agitating sometime late August 2023, I called and contracted National Paltinum Service to come out and diagnose and repair the issue with my washer. It is out of warranty with the manufacture which is why I called them.

They sent out a technician after letting me know they have a $120 diagnostic fee but after that I would just be charged an additional $20 and parts fee which sounded reasonable.

The first visit by the technician did several checks in an attempt discover what the source of the issue was. During that visit he went on to say that the panel wasn’t getting power or something to that effect and that he would order the part but that the office would give me a call with a status on how long it would take to get the part and when the tech would be back out. I didn’t hear back from anyone that day, so I called back and spoke with a woman who said she “was sorry that they didn’t get back to me but that the part was order and would be in next week and would it be ok for the technician to come out that Wednesday” and of course I said yes. It would quickly become clear that I should have moved on when they broke their word on what would happen moving forward after the first time the tech left.

So the tech arrives, he removes the old panel and installs the new one, but this doesn’t fix the issue, in fact, l this tech wasn’t the same one from the previous visit and says “the panel isn’t getting/transmitting power (not sure of the exact terminology), and that he called his dad, (I’m guessing is the owner) and that his dad said it was the motor and that they would order the part and you guessed they would give me a call to let me know about what would happen next. Suffice to say I didn't receive a call and had to once again go and reach out to this company who seemed disorganized and didn’t communicate well with customers, so they apologized and again told me they would order the part and set up a date and time for the tech to come back.

So the part comes in, the tech makes his way for another visit, this time, it was the tech who initially came on the first visit with the part in tow, he begins removing the old motor and installs the new one but you guessed it, it doesn’t fix the issue. He makes a call back to the office and then says he thinks it might be the transmission and that they would order the part and give me a call with more to follow.

I never received a call so I call them back and a lady answered the phone and apologized about them not contacting me but that the part was on back order and they would just have to wait until it came in and give me a call when it did. This was September 8, 2023 I’m writing this review on October 19, 2023 after calling them a little after 0900 this morning. The worst has yet to come.

So after having had enough of waiting I decided to call for an update and a man answered the phone I told him I needed and update on the status of the part, he looked up the notes on the ticket and said that the manufacturer no longer sold this part. I told him about my previous call with the lady who told me the part was on back order and they would call me back, he apologized saying I don’t know who told you that but they don’t sell this part and the tech should have called me and relayed that information to me. So I began challenging some of this because none of it is adding up. So I probe for the information about the part they attempted to order and what I should do, and he said “call the folks at Midea and because they don’t have the part they might give me cash in lieu of that fact”. So I call Midea on his recommendation, so I start speaking with the Midea CSR and she tells me, “we don’t have that part in stock but that they would have it on 27 December 2023 and that the part could also be purchased from Home Depot and Walmart. I’m so frustrated that I’ve been lied to and given the run around. I call them back with this new info and challenge him he and whilst bantering this guys hangs up in my face after all this.
