I received service from the Georgia location for an LG Refrigerator compressor issue. The unit is 6 years old so most of the repair was not covered by LG. I got a clear cost of repair after paying $110 for a diagnostic. The repair was NOT cheap, in fact it was double or triple other repairs quoted. Here is the difference; this company came to our home to actually look at the unit and checked the parts needed also. I got a thorough call with all the information needed and a firm date for the repair. No one else offered that. No other LG recommended service provider did ANYTHING. The service tech James who did the repair, called the day of and gave me a 30 minute ETA, he got right to work, he confirmed I knew the cost of the repair, kept his work space near, tidy, professional and efficient. He was a real joy to have in the house doing his job. The unit is cooling efficiently and I will gladly refer this company to others and use them if I need to. Thank you for a job well done.

Absolutely worst and unreliable company. The technician that they sent to my home in Fayetteville NC, was incompetent. He came to my house took pictures of my dishwasher and washing machine and then stated my my washing machine does fill not and my dishwasher trips the circuit breaker because of possible bugs. I called the customer service department to get the service report and the pictures with bugs. Approximately 2 weeks later, American Homeshield and I have not received service report or the pictures to indicate bugs caused the equipment malfunction. Stay away from National Platinum Services.

Unfortunately many people may only be finding this GA web site for comments as it is the only one online. I rated it three stars as I had not worked directly with their office. I had been working with the Greensboro, NC office. It was horrendous service. After 15 days I actually went to the Lowe's store that I originally bought my appliance from with all my documentation regarding the poor/no service from the office in Greensboro. Managers at the store worked with me to get a resolution. Got a call this morning which was a first response in almost a month to set up a repair. When I informed the caller after no response from her I had already taken care of this myself she replied no worries. Just received an email from National Platinum Service stating "your repair is complete." Totally false information.

Not helpful unless you keep calling over and over and then when they finally send someone they don’t understand what you are saying due to language barriers….Finally after a month for the item fixed and had to demand someone come as we couldn’t use the freezer for a month! Person who came didn’t follow instruction sent as to where to enter due to disabled individual. 4 text messages were sent to him with instructions which apparently didn’t or couldn’t be understood. I just hope nothing else breaks as this was a horrible experience for a brand new 2000 refrigerator. Lg was not helpful either !

National Platinum in Columbus was assigned to me through my home warranty service. They contacted me less than 24 hours after I submitted my claim, asking for my dryer model info and summary of the problem. I was able to make an appointment for 3 business days later, their first available time in my area. I was given a three hour window and told they would contact me when the tech was on his way. I received a reminder text the day before and a call from the tech, early in the three hour window, saying he was on the way. He was very professional and was able to fix my dryer that day. What more could you ask for? I truly believe the bad reviews here must be for another location, as is stated many times in the owner responses. I have no complaints about my experience with them and would not hesitate to use them again.

The National Platinum Service in Columbus GA was amazing! They were assigned to me by the home warranty company. Everytime I called someone answered and were very courteous and understanding. The tech that came to my home was knowledgeable and explained what was going on in detail. They were prompt in sending their diagnosis to the warranty company so that I could move forward with my claim.

My warranty company assigned a range repair to this company. Horrible communication. Only by text and 24hrs between each response. I requested a new repair company and was assigned A&E which came out the next day. National platinum also scheduled someone to come out on that same day without telling me I was scheduled. My warranty company had already canceled them and I texted them as well that I didn’t want their lousy service. National Platinum then closed my work order and stopped the parts order from A&E and marks the job as complete. They then bill the warranty company for labor when no one came out. Because of this a$$hole company I now have to start over with my range repair. It’s now going on two weeks because of this unethical useless company. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

Terrible service for my boyfriend and I’d washer. Purchased a brand new appliance and needed repair two weeks after delivery. The technician that came to our home replaced two parts that were unrelated to our issues. We were told that they would order a part and would reach out when it was delivered to have it replaced. Instead, we received a text message stating that they were canceling our appointment and we needed to reach out to GE for a new company. I also forgot to mention that the technician spent 30 minutes in our guest bathroom and left almost immediately after. Clogged out toilet with an immense amount of toilet paper causing it to leak. Unprofessional and ignorant. And before the business responds to the review: yes, we used the Columbus location to service us in Lagrange and yes we are in your system.

If I could do less than 1 star I would. I dont typically do these reviews but National Platinum Sevice is the WORST company in the world!! They suck at communicating, they could careless about your issue, they won't call you. You'll have to call them to get your info. The main lady that works the phone is rude and they don't care about a working persons schedule. Very unprofessional. They will yank you around and lie to you! I can't believe LG has them contracted out. If you hear the name NPS or National platinum service.. RUN! Tell them you want someone else because I promise it is a waste of time. DONT ALLOW THEM IN YOUR HOME OR TO WASTE YOUR TIME!!!

I don't think you can respond to the company's review once they respond y'all and I want everyone who Googles this company to get a REAL review. So here is my response to the company's dissertation. It is truly comical how the company has the time to even write a dissertation on their "off" day but when a customer calls for 3 hours straight during normal business hours to try to get assistance, no one is available. AHS also tried to reach out to them as well and again, no response during normal business hours. They state in their review that they have training from 2:00 - 6:00 PM on Fridays, lol which is probably just an excuse because on their phone recording it states their normal business hours ends at 6:00 PM nowhere does it mention that they are unavailable from 2:00 PM - 6:00 PM on Fridays. So how would the general public know? Again, probably just an excuse to try to write of their terrible customer service and lack of accountability.
In reference to the first tech, he didn't have to recreate the issue. All he had to do was simply open up the bottom of the washing machine and he would see that the belt is off and from there he would have been able to identify the issue. But if you are simply putting the washing machine in test mode as he stated he did, then DUH you are not going to find the problem. I asked him did he open up the bottom of the washing machine he said no that all he did was run it on test mode. That's how I KNOW he did not fully inspect the machine. As I stated the second tech came in figured out the issue ASAP and he stated out his own mouth that his own coworker did not know what he was doing. Again, no issue was recreated, the second tech just actually did his job and opened up the washing machine and actually inspected it. Never needed an issue to be recreated, just needed a tech to come out and do their job. The company states they called me to reschedule my install for my part. Ya'll that is a lie. I called them. I first called to confirm that they were coming to install the part. The lady said no b/c the part was not in. I said okay, what does the tracking say - she said she did not have it and then found it 5 min later. Crazy how someone can be so quick to say what they don't have and when they get push back, they magically find it. People do the bare minimum and expect for it to be accepted, no I want top tier service and that's what I expect. I then asked them to send me the tracking number so I could track it myself. I TRACKED MY PART MYSELF. Once I seen it was delivered, I texted them saying, "hey the tracking says delivered and it was signed by *I gave the person's name." They did not text me back, so I called. Once I called, they then put me on the schedule. Again, terrible customer service and communication for a customer to even have to call you to be put on a schedule once their part is delivered. The tech did not wait 15 min. I have a ring camera lol. The man did not even wait 10 min. Again, I have communicated on my end so if you are leaving have the common courtesy to call or text to say that. Again, my window is from 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM as you cannot control FedEx I cannot control Atlanta traffic. There was a lane closure in Douglasville that put me 10 min behind. I communicated that. Again, Google viewers this again confirms their lack of accountability as well as customer service that all of the other 100 reviews of 1 stars attest to. I can careless if you think I am disrespectful. You have been unprofessional and unreliable. You're upset because someone does not accept your low-quality customer service because I go the extra mile and ask questions. I don't accept mediocrity. I honestly can care less if you closed out my workorder, AHS will simply transfer me to the next vendor, at that point my appliance will be fixed, so thanks =)

I NEVER write google reviews, so if you’re thinking about using these folks I would advise you don’t! If you’re using AHS, request you get another service provider!
Let’s get into it - On November 11, 2024 I had a tech come out and look at my washing machine as it was not draining. He swore me up and down yall that it was fine. So okay, I’m not a handywoman. I believed him and carried on about my day. A week later the machine is STILL not draining, I’m literally having to ring my clothes out before placing them in the dryer. So I call AHS & put in another request. The next guy that comes out is amazing! He identifies the problem in less than 10 min, he’s like ma’am you need a new belt. He also states and i quote, “I’m not sure who looked at your washing machine first but they couldn’t have known what they were doing because your belt was completely off.” I said, “okay, what’s next?” He said we have to order it. Now this is the week of Thanksgiving at this point. So I’m aware it may take a little longer for the part to arrive with the holidays. So my new service date to put the belt on is December 5th. I call on the 4th like, Hey just checking in to ensure we’re good for tomorrow the lady is like my part hasn’t come in. I said okay what is tracking number saying she said she doesn’t have tracking #. I said it’s 2024 typically when you order something you get a tracking number soon after the order is placed. I informed her that this part was ordered over a week ago. She then places me on hold and magically a tracking number appears where she can see that the delivery date has changed and we have to push my install date by 1 day. No problem. I’ll wait the extra day. No big deal. My service date comes and I always request that they give me a call a hour before their arrival as I work a hour away from my home. The Tech did call. I was already on the way I texted him about 45 min into my ride asking his ETA he stated that he was 8 min from my home i said perfect I’m 10 min behind you. I arrive home and no one is here. The tech has an iPhone and his read receipts are on so i know he’s getting my messages. I’m like Hey what’s your ETA, Hey are you coming? This man does not respond. I also called him and he declined the call. I then start calling the office from 3:45 pm - 6:00 PM noone at the office would answer the phone. I called AHS they even tried to contact them and no answer for them either. The next day someone from their office texts me saying that I told the tech i was 10 min away and they have appointment times they have to meet. Okay yall let’s pause - my appointment time was from 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM, that’s MY window. If I’m effectively communicating that I’m 10 min behind you why can’t the tech have the human decency to say hey ma’am we give a 10 min grace period or hey ma’am I’m leaving or simply pick up the phone when i call so I’m aware of what’s going on. But to simply say nothing is terrible. Also, no one ever states what their grace period is for appointments. Again i have a 3 hour window, im effectively communicating keeping you updated with where I am and you can’t simply respond?
I am Georgia Tech graduate, I own my business and i treat people the way i would like to be treated so it’s frustrating when people have such disregard for others. It costs nothing to simply state what’s going on and communicate. Their customer service is terrible and they stick for their technicians knowing they’re wrong. Yall them having a 1.7 star review is REAL. These folks in these reviews are not lying. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

I cannot say enough good about Randy and Julie and the team at NPS in Columbus, GA! As you read the reviews for this team, please note that almost ALL negative reviews do not belong to their location. NPS is a franchise company and the Columbus, GA location is independently owned and operated.

Let me tell my experience. My 4 month old Samsung fridge stopped cooling and would not produce ice/water. I contacted Samsung for warranty repair and they assigned to a firm in Warner Robins, GA. That firm asked me to wait TWO WEEKS without a fridge, then cancelled on my 30 minutes prior to the service. Samsung redirected me to NPS in Columbus, GA. Within one hour, Randy contacted me and set up a VERY quick appointment to diagnose the problem. Randy arrived to my home on time and quickly diagnosed the issue. He was able to order the part and even asked Samsung to expedite shipping because I had literally been three weeks without a fridge. Less than 1 week later, Randy returned to my home with the part. The installation took less than 1 hour and I was back up and running, better than new! If you have an appliance that needs service, I HIGHLY recommend this team. They are responsive, kind, and they keep their promises and communicate well. I will definitely be recommending them to friends and family!

GE hired this company to come out to my house. They were scheduled to come between 12-5 PM. I hired someone to stay at my home to be present when they arrived. They no call no showed. They called the next day and said they meant to call us and cancel. We told them we had to pay someone to sit at our home and the lady said that’s not my problem. They were hired again and did not show and then called us after and tried to reschedule. They are unprofessional and no call no show.

I had requested to be contacted an hour in advance so I could adjust my schedule using PTO, but instead, I received two calls—one 30 minutes before and another just 15 minutes before the appointment. And yet, somehow, it was entirely my fault. Fascinating.

The one-hour notice I had specifically asked for? Magically disappeared from the conversation. They insisted it was all on me and abruptly ended the call, stating they could no longer provide me with service.

To top it all off, I had the pleasure of hearing the Samsung official representative speak with them. They very politely and professionally explained—again—that everything was my fault. I must say, I was deeply moved by the elegance and grace with which they placed the blame solely on me. Truly, a masterclass in customer care.

Thank you for giving me such a memorable experience. It’s not every day one gets to witness such a shining example of customer service excellence.

I have read some of the bad reviews. I disagree with them. I spoke with Bethany amd she was kind and helpful. I spoke with 2 other ladies, but unfortunately I can't recall their names. They were professional as well. Austin was my technician and he was excellent. He fixed my problem quickly and efficiently. I may have talked his ear off, but he didn't seem to mind. I have lots of questions when things go wrong in my home. He patiently answered them all.

Filed a home warranty claim on my dryer before the holidays that sounded like it was about to take off into space. I got a text asking for a photo of the model and serial number. I responded with that picture and a video of the dryer making the noise. I received a call to schedule service and shortly there after a email saying parts were ordered. The technician was able to repair the dryer the next week in one visit. He was on time and cordial. I even got a text when he was on the way. Finished up quickly without any problems.
