Excellent, fast and friendly service from the initial phone call to the hand shake at the end of the repair. Very clear in their process, what the intended to do, and the best way to proceed. They were able to show me video of the inside of my pipes after the work was completed and now everything is flowing as it should.

No heat on a frigid weekend!!! A local AC repair company told me I needed an electrician . I contacted Dixie.

George, arrived on time. He did a thorough inspection of our electrical outlets and lights not working after a water leak in our house. Bryce is thorough with explaining, making recommendations and knowledgeable on what needs to be done as an electrician. He also gave me a bit of history on what houses were like in the '60s. Bryce & apprentice named Chase executed their job in a timely manner, installed 3 Prong Outlets & Recessed shower light in my ensuite bathroom. In addition, they installed 2 flood lights for my backyard. I like the fact that they cleaned up any & all mess that they may have made. I would recommend/call Dixie electric plumbing and Air again if I have any work to be done. 😉

10/1/2025 Dixie Electric finished up the re-wiring our garage which we are turning into a pottery studio. Jared was very knowledgeable and explained everything in detail that we could understand. He also had new employee with him Stephen teaching him the Dixie way (LOL). Seriously they both did great job and we are very pleased with the hard work they did. Also even got a picture with Jared in "Catch Me In Pink" for awareness of breast cancer month. Check us out on line.

We had a fantastic experience with Dixie Electric. Their service technicians came out to service, repair, and test our generator, and they had it running smoothly in no time. They also checked both of our HVAC units and provided clear, helpful quotes to replace the one that was already not working. We had a scheduled appointment window from1200-1600. Needless to say, we were pleasantly surprised when the call came in that they'd be arriving within 20 minutes. Always prompt and super polite staff.

Kam, Caleb and Tyler are very young men who are so motivated and hard working. They are so great they handled the job with great ethics. They did the job they were sent to do. They ensured they cleaned the area thoroughly and made my yard look like it was never dug. I will recommend Dixie for good and a great job.

Colin came out on a Saturday, during the Alabama/Auburn game. Kind and on time. Unfortunately, Colin was unable to repair, as the required parts had to be purchased. Colin did take the time to make sure it was fixed first thing the next morning. Great ambassador for the company. The team that came out did an outstanding and quick job. made what I thought would take weeks to fix, completed in no time at all. Thanks to all the Dixie Electric, Plumbing and Air. I had the pleasure of working with Cameron and Tyler and I must say they are absolutely amazing! Not only are they amazing but courteous, kind and got the job done exceptionally. Scott was such a great technician!! He explained everything as he went through his assessment. He allowed me to see the issues he was finding which made me trust he was not trying to snow me. Overall he was very professional and was able to clear the whole house clog that flooded my home!

Kamron was able to arrive earlier than scheduled time, which was wonderful. He diagnosed the problem, gave me a quote, and was able to fix the issue right away. Jimmie and Alex were very professional and friendly. Top notch employees and made me feel like we had known each other for years. Explained all conditions that they they found in a clear and concise manner. Showed me the problem areas and explained in detail the cause and effect. Never again! I commissioned the company to install lights with switches. Work was very poor, I was sent an invoice although work was incomplete. Installation not done to based on plan and some lights were never connected. There was no oversight or quality checks being completed. Once I raised concern about the work, I was told it’s my fault. It took a week to get in touch with a rep that could assist with paying invoice. I am thoroughly disappointed and will never use this company again.

Jared Griffin, Stephen, George, and Bryce Barnes all did a fantastic job helping me tackle the much needed electrical updates in my new (to me) home. Jared has been super thorough with everything he has done, walking me through where issues are and explaining them well. I really appreciate work well done, and I will absolutely work with them in the future for the upgrades we have planned down the road!
** Updating this review since I have had Colin Dixon do my HVAC inspection, and Kamron Williams replace my water heater and remove the garbage disposal in my kitchen. Dixie has been A+ with communication every single time I have reached out to them. The people that have completed work on my house have been professional, accurate and quick. Working with Dixie has continually been the easiest part of our new home purchase and we are glad to have someone to rely on for all our plumbing, HVAC, and electrical needs for many many years to come!

God, I was suffering with any heat at all. I was surviving with 2 small space heaters. I called Dixie and they sent Collin and his other colleague over and they told me what was wrong, what needed to be repaired and quoted me. I told them fantastic let’s get this done as soon as possible. They back came today and repaired my furnace. Fast, easy and reliable. I’m so happy and excited to finally sleep in a heated home! Definitely recommend this company and workers!
