Grant and Clayton came out and made my ac system functional again after a leak in my coil. Highly recommend southern comfort heating and air.

Be aware of this company and please get a second opinion. My air conditioning was acting up, so I called them. They told me I needed a new A/C. This did not feel right, so I had an expert give me a second opinion, and they were able to fix the issue for 1/10 of the cost. I was told I did not need a new A/C. Additionally, the technician at Southern Comfort Heating and Air Conditioning was very rude when I challenged the estimate, which led me to get a second opinion. Tread carefully with this company.

I called Southern Home Comfort Heating and Air and they came out the same day. The technician said that the fan motor was bad and needed replaced. He quoted me $2200. So I called Bains heating and air and Bains came and replaced the motor for less than $400. The unit is working great and I saved $1800.

We had two a/c units fail at the same time and The People’s Champ came in and got it done in record time! Kevin, the owner, came out to do the quote and was absolutely amazing, very professional, and timely. His team was very respectful and knowledgeable. I had done my research and met with 3 other companies besides the people champ and I can say without a doubt it was the best company, the best prices, and the best experience we could have had. Amazing service! When my A/C went out on a hot Saturday, Kevin drove over 30 miles to help out and within a just few hours our AC unit was working better than ever. He was very knowledgeable and really helped me to understand where the problem lied and how we could solve it. He was straightforward and reasonably priced; not trying to sell us anything that we didn't need. I really felt he was a trustworthy and hardworking professional. I would recommend his services to anyone in need.

Most times companies are money hungry, but he actually gave multiple options and details regarding each option (and he didn't even try to convince me to go with the most expensive one). I almost never write reviews. The only time I write them is when service is so good that I feel I need to reward the business owner.

I had my hvac system completely replaced a little over a year ago. The service was great and I was given a discount because the store didn't have the equipment that was originally quoted. They even added extra ducts in the attic to help circulate air free of charge.

Fast forward 15 months later. The outside fan is not spinning. My hunch was it was the capacitor, but I didn't have time to change it. I called Kevin. He was headed out of town but sent one of his guys. They ended up replacing the capacitor free of charge.

Kevin seems like a great guy and an honest businessman. I really admire that and wish more business owners took his approach. I highly recommend him if you need HVAC work.

From estimate to completed installation, Kevin was courteous, responsive and above all helpful. He listened to my needs and delivered on every one without making me feel like I was asking for too much. They even cleaned thoroughly after they finished. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Call them, you won't be disappointed.
