Mr. Berry handled our hot water heater problem. Thanks to him, we now have hot water supplied to us by our new water heater. He is very diligent and listens and answers all questions.

AVOID. We used them by default for warranty work on a new construction. But, when they came out to fix what was wrong they ended up causing more damage that we didn't realize until just this week. So now we had to hire a different plumber to come out and fix the leak and the broken flange that was caused by the poor workmanship of Randall Lowe.

If I could give zero stars, I would! We having been dealing with Randall Lowe Plumbing for 2 years on a new construction. We have hot water about 25% of the time on a consistent basis. We rarely have to turn the cold water on and turn the hot water all the way up to get luke warm water. They have removed valves, replaced parts, flushed the system, etc., but it ALWAYS comes back to "you have hard water and need a whole house filtration/softening system". I find it very odd that out of a subdivision of 100+ homes, there is only one other home having the same issue as us and low behold they are being given the same line about having hard water. How did we get so lucky????? We are now going to find a Plumbing Company that wants and can actually get to the root of the problem. Albeit we will have to pay out of pocket for services and whatever work, parts, etc. that needs to be done to have hot water, it is important to be finished with this 2 year nightmare and finally have peace of mind! I highly recommend avoiding this company at all costs!

Did plumbing in our new house. Couldn't even take time to put drain screws in. Toilet is wobbly, caused pipe behind toilet to crack the drywall. They said they don't do drywall and thats the builder's responsibility to fix. I asked who does your quality control check, they replied the builder does. All of our bathtub faucets are loose. Insulation around hot water heater is falling off after a month. Run from these people.

Had a pleasant experience. The technician came on a weekend to repair the pilot unit on my water heater, charged me $425 which I wrote a check for. On Monday i received a call from their office and they told me the technician accidentally over charged me by $200 and they returned my over payment. Very honest company. I highly recommend them.

These people are not PROFESSIONAL. First someone comes out and basically does nothing then two weeks later a supervisor came to apparently do the same thing. The morning of the appointment a lady called and tried to cancel until they felt my frustration. The lady was rude how she even spoke to me. This man came into my house and accused my husband of flushing wipes. He went upstairs and picked up a packet that he saw and brought it back downstairs. The audacity of this fool doing that. He didn't ask but rather TOLD my husband. I will have never picked this company if it wasn't for our new construction warranty.

Let me tell you a wonderful story of how your experience with Randal Lowe Plumbing will go.

First, they'll give you a day and a 4 hour window of when they'll show up. You're going to believe them, so you'll take a day off to wait and let them in.

When they don't show up for the first 3.5 hours of the 4 hour window, you'll call them and they'll tell you that they'll still make it within the 4 hour window, despite it expiring in 30min.

Naturally, the 4 hour window will expire and you won't hear a word from Randal Lowe Plumbing. You'll call 3 or 4 more times and operator will tell you all she can do is message someone.

Finally, they'll show up without a call some 2 hours past the scheduled window. They'll walk in, take a look at your toilet, flush it once, and tell you it's the brand of the toilet that doesn't flush. Then, they'll leave.

You'll go to bed fantasizing about what you could've done with your day off instead of hopelessly waiting on Randal. And just before you fall asleep, you'll remember that you not only wasted a day of your life, but your toilet is still as broken as it was yesterday.

This company does shoddy work and then fails to stand behind it. If I could give Randall Lowe 0 stars I would, so beware, especially if you build a house and they are the chosen plumber for your builder. Here's why:

In our multi-story home with an unfinished basement, this company failed to spend a minuscule amount of money to put small pieces of foam between the PVC water pipes and the wood studs in our home. The result of this lack of buffer/insulation is that during winter, whenever hot water runs through the PVC and it rapidly expands and contracts due to the temperature differences, we hear the equivalent of a knocking sound inside our walls. This occurred in two different locations in our home, one inside drywall and the other (fortunately) in the ceiling of our unfinished basement. When Randall Lowe sent their warranty plumber our to service our complaint, even he noticed that had just a 2 cent piece of foam (and a couple of extra seconds of work) been used between the PVC and the stud, the problem could have been avoided. Luckily, that work was easy. The pipe inside the wall required the drywall to be cut and repaired afterwards. Randall Lowe only serviced this complaint because our home was still under warranty, but the complete laziness and lack of attention to detail when the work was first completed is unacceptable.

My second experience with this company happened today when the drain line between our dishwasher and garbage disposal failed, causing gallons of water to cover our kitchen floor, ruining the hardwood surface. I called a plumber to inspect and diagnose the problem, and he immediately noticed the incorrect installation of the rubber gasket that connects the drain hose to the disposal. In our case, someone cut the hose too short, so rather than just cutting a new hose to the proper length, they stretched the rubber gasket at a 90 degree angle to make up for the inadequate hose length. After 4 years, this rubber piece wore out prematurely and cracked, which caused our water damage. To make matters worse, because this was a garbage disposal line (as well as dishwasher), the water going through it is likely to be contaminated with bacteria, food particles, etc., so now we have to undergo water damage mitigation that includes microbe treatment.

When I called Randall Lowe about this and explained the problem, they informed me that their warranty was only 2 years, and that the work was done properly the first time, signed off by our builder and us. When I asked their supervisor if he expected this installation to fail after only 4 years, he deflected by saying he'd have to research the part itself and "google it". I hardly expect an experienced plumber to need to look up a routine plumbing installation procedure on Google, not to mention the fact that they almost became indignant with me when I asked them to stand behind their work and at least inspect what they had originally done. They refused.

This is one of the worst companies with which I have ever had the displeasure of interacting. They seem to rest comfortably on their large residential contracts given to them by builders such as Sharp, and will only take service requests under warranty, even if their lazy, shoddy installation causes a premature failure out of warranty. If you had this company install your plumbing, it might be wise to have a reputable firm take a look at the accuracy and correctness of Randall Lowe's work.

Extremely rude. They came out 2x's the first time they flushed the toliet and said there wasn't an issue and then the second time accused us of flushing wipes down my toliet when they came out. We don't throw wipes in our toliet. Our shower and toliet are flooding. It's clearly their poor quality work. The receptionist has no class and is extremely rude. This is the plumber recommended by the builder. Do not use them. They are scam artists. They need to go out of business. I have never encountered such a terrible business. For the sake of your home do not use them.

I would highly recommend that you stay away from this company. The admin staff, especially Nancy and Tabitha in the Home Service department are rude, condescending, confrontational, and argumentative.

I needed to have a toilet replaced under warranty. Because of work schedules and the fact that they can't come after hours or on weekends, I can only make time available once every four weeks. Once a particular toilet was identified as needing replacing, they were suppose to bring it out on the next visit along with parts for another toilet (1 Month later), but did not. The next few months then went from being sick (another month), an emergency on the part of the guy coming out (I was notified 2 hours before they were supposed to get here) (yet another month), and they gave my predestined toilet to another user (still another month). After four months, I can't get my toilet, including one that was slated for me previously.

When trying to discuss the issue with Nancy (Department Head), she was nothing but rude and condescending. When asked why did they give my toilet to another job, she exclaimed that it wasn't HER (personal) warehouse that made the mistake (it was her company's... she was just being pedantic). Both refuse to engage in any conversation about the toilet is now 4-5 months before it gets replaced, and I am expected to wait some indiscriminate amount of time in the future before they "may" get any. Instead of being respectful to me in attempting to ask why is this taking so long, Nancy hung up and refused to even schedule appointments. She also wants to heavily deflect blame on the warehouse (that isn't hers) as the culprits in this scenario. When asked if she would be upset or frustrated if the roles were reversed, she admitted that she would be, but I am not allowed to voice any concerns about the lack of action when it comes to dealing with replacing my toilet.

At this point, I would pay twice as much to go elsewhere to not have to deal with this company.

Wish I could post the picture but they had the contract for plumbing in our neighborhood. They installed the toilet on the pipe coming out of the floor cut it all to pieces then covered it up with the toilet mount. Then said it’s not their fault.

Randal Lowe Plumbing is without a doubt the BEST company we've ever used for plumbing issues. Whether we've had an emergency, or just regular service, each technician has been prompt, knowledgeable, courteous and professional. A special shout out to Alex Bolton who handled our emergency call with the utmost professionalism. He worked quickly and thoroughly, explaining the problems along the way in terms we could understand. His attitude couldn't have been better, which made an emergency issue not nearly as bad!
But, this isn't an isolated situation, each technician has been fabulous, including the call center folks.
Thank you for being our go-to plumber!!

We moved into new construction ( Brock Built ) in which Randal Lowe did all the plumbing. We have had no hot water in various sections of the home. We have attempted to contact the company and always get the run around. They claim they have a pre construction unit and an occupied dwelling unit. Even though their units are out at our complex daily working on other new builds they will not come by our home to fix our low pressure and hot water issues. We have had to deal with heating water on our stove in order to wash up our kids before school during these last low temperature days. It is deplorable service and I highly recommend that you avoid this company for any plumbing needs.

Absolute WORST plumbing company in the state. I put a hidden camera in my bathroom because our plumbing was constantly backing up. The plumber came out and said I had a clog. It was the second time they came out after saying nothing was wrong on the first visit. The plumber took something from a baggie from his pocket and said it was clogged in our toilet. We are getting ready to file a claim of action against this company for their deceptive practices. You have been warned! Find a reputable company that doesn't scam customers! We hired a second company who determined it was inadequate piping installation, nothing to do with a clog.

My home builder paid them a trip charge to reinstall a toilet after a cracked tile had been replaced. They never confirmed appointment. Showed up in an unmarked van. Said they wanted $225 to install the toilet, because I had bought a brand new toilet to replace the original that was repeatedly clogging. I refused to be hustled so, had them reinstall the original. I then went on a website called Thumbtack and had many plumbers quote as low as $115 to install my new toilet and hired one for $150 who is coming out same day to take out the toilet they re-installed this morning. I would never use this company and understand why they have such a low rating. I would recommend Thumbtack. Great website. Easy to use, responsive and will save you money!

Quoted one price for a visit to “see if they could clear a toilet”. Clearly stated anything additional like a scope would be quoted. Used an augur to clear it in about 15 minutes. Then charged $250 for “using special equipment”. Shady.

If they completed plumbing in your new construction home, get a 2nd opinion immediately and ensure everything is checked while under your warranty. Would never recommend them for install or repair.

My home is new & under warranty. I had problems with the toilets stopping up & called the company for help. Alex, a supervisor came out & checked everything. He upped my water pressure which was low & educated us about how to properly flush & maintain toilets. He was very professional & informative. I appreciate him sharing his knowledge & expertise with us! What a great guy!

DON'T USE THIS COMPANY - THEY ARE THE WORST!!
This company will take your money to install plumbing on your home, but good luck getting them to do it correctly. After I bought me new home, and had multiple issues caused by their terrible work, including toilets that did not work, and leaky faucets, I have had it! For the first leaky faucet issue I has to pay for cabinet and drywall repair, they sent someone out to fix it but the problem persisted and I had to hire a different plumbing company to fix it. Now, I have another faucet leaking, coming through the another bathroom cabinet (now destroyed) through my kitchen ceiling destroying the drywall and down onto the hardwoods floors. I called them and they refused to come out to fix it b/c they installed it over 12-months ago. This company takes ZERO pride in their work and they are complete scam artist. What a joke they are!

Absolutely the worst! I'm definitely not one to write bad reviews such as this, cause I understand things happen. But Randal Lowe Plumbing is consistently awful. Buyer Beware! Do not do business with them.

They don't keep the appointments. Don't try to plan anything, because if they show up it won't be when it's scheduled. The 4 hour window is a joke because they don't even show up or bother to call to reschedule. Repeated calls to no avail. When I finally got a hold of them to inquire the status of the technician they said they called, but they admitted they called the wrong person/number.

In addition, their customer service is awful too. After they finally showed up, the technician was simply asked why he didn't have a part (to a job he knew he was coming out to do based on the work order), he didn't say a word and slammed the door in front of me.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I called and asked about having someone take a look at my water heater. Initially, I was told that I was still in warranty; but when I spoke to Tonya, she said I wasn't. I simply asked her when did the warranty expire and she ignored my questions. She recommended that I contact another plumber but when I asked again when my warranty expired, she told me to contact the builder or the previous homeowner. She then got irritated when I asked why I couldn't get that information from her if their company name was listed on my tank. When she finally did tell me when the warranty expired, she said 2019...which was when the house was built. I tried explaining that the warranty couldn't have expired in 2019 since the house was built in 2019 but she just talked over me & kept cutting me off. When she finally stopped talking & listened, I told her the house was built in '19 & to actually confirm when the warranty expired. Tonya started huffing & puffing like I was asking her too much and then once I asked for her managers name, she gave the typical rude answer of "she's just gonna tell you the same thing I said." I explained that I wanted to speak to her manager because her tone & attitude was completely unnecessary as I had asked her simple questions that didn't require attitude to which she said "thank you, have a nice day," and hung up on me.
